I really tried to give this place a chance, with no appointment expect to wait 2 hours. They do your glasses right then and there and that was an extra 15 minutes. I put my glasses on and my right eye ended up being blurry, I told them that it was and they said because I haven't worn glasses it's gonna be that way, but if you go to an actual eye doctor that never ever happens. So I had to come back a week later to replace them. I had an appointment this time and yet I was still seen 1 hr to 2 hours later. When everyone was just chitchatting in the back and laughing. What's the point of an appointment? I don't recommend this place at all, huge waste of time and money especially. They say they have the BOGO, which I tried to purchase and it came out to both lenses being $400 and when I said charge me for one it was $200 so there's isn't really any type of deal. If I could get a refund and just never return I would. Read the reviews because they're not wrong. Don't come here for an exam or for your lenses. There's definitely better places. This eyelab is a disaster. First they get my glasses wrong. Second they tell me that someone will call me when the DR is actually in to redo my eye exam. 2 wks pass and nothing. I happend to be in the area and popped in. To my surprise the DR is there. She sends my glasses back to get redone. 3 wks later still not right. At this point I requested a refund in July. She did say about 10 bus days for me to get it. Well it's 9-18 and still no refund. This store never answers their phone not even when their own customer service center is trying to reach them. I was told it would be expedited and I will receive it by the end of the week. This was 2 wks ago. Still trying to get my refund. Called again today and now they are telling me they want the lenses back. 2 months later. I already got my glasses redone someplace else. How the hell do you want me to get the lenses back. Lucy is the most DISRESPECTFUL AND WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. She called me now at 11:52am telling me she was waiting on me to return the lenses. Lucy was the one who took my refund request and told me to keep my glasses. She is now trying to cover her ass by telling me that she never told me that. If you really told me that, then why would u tell me I will receive my refund in 2-3 wks if I still had to go back. I kept asking her for corp phone number to talk to them directly. She hung up on me. That is great customer service. I am writing a complaint to the bbb and will continue to write a bad review and call BBB everyday until this is resolved Avoid this store at ALL costs. Had a Groupon, the staff was very helpful. After using the Groupon, I got a pair of glasses for only $25 for my son. I decided to buy him a second pair and both were about $130. I went in because I had an eye infection and my doctor told me I needed to get glasses and stop using contacts.. it was the second location I went to and they told me I can get my glasses in 10 days maybe less because they were going to put a rush on it because of my situation on May 10th. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I care here with 2 pairs of $400 glasses after calling literally every other place and being unable to get an appointment. I had an appointment 3 weeks ago, I sat there for an hour before anyone acknowledged me meanwhile they're checking their phones every ten minutes. I was finally seen, paid nearly $400 for the lenses and handed my glasses over. Total of 1200 I've spent between two pair of designer glasses and lenses. Today, after THREE WEEKS of waiting for a call I decided to go online and track the glasses. Put my number in and the system couldn't find me. So I call customer service which is listed as their office number. Can't speak to the office. I give them my name, DOB, and my telephone number. They tell me that I'm not in the system and they have no order for me. I'm shocked at this point. Then they either hang up or wrk get disconnected. I call back and speak to a lady who after a minute says she found me it was a slight glitch and that both paid of glasses would be ready for pickup tomorrow (July 16). Now, I know when someone is BSing me. I brought in my glasses at two different times so I knew they wouldn't come in on the same day. So I push for more information and she basically made some shit up on the fly. In other words, these people resort to lying when they've messed up. I call back again. Speak to a man, who had no idea I've already talked to two other individuals who have already told me they have no record of me ever going in or paying money etc., who tells me that he actually can't track my glasses because I have to be routed to some special department in order to track my order. Second time I'm lied to within minutes. Three people had already proceeded to tracking my glasses for me, so he certainly could too. He took my phone number, DOB, and name to do so, but they're lost and rather than say so he lied. Such great customer service, huh? Anyway, in a few weeks I'll be a lawyer and plan on filling a claim to get all $1200 back. I have my receipt and I have proof of purchase for my glasses. This place is absolutely horrible!!! The people are actually nice. However, I didn't feel like they know what they were talking about. At the end of the day what you really want is to buy a good product. Yes, customer service goes a long way, defective products are really what keep the business open. I have no idea what they are doing salving glasses. Much less, prescription glasses. Got some glasses for my wife and within a week one of them became loose at the hinges. Took them back to get them tightened, only for them to come loose again. Took them back yet again and complained but got nowhere with them. The glasses are not of great quality either. I absolutely recommend people to stay AWAY from this place. Sometimes cheaper is not necessarily the best way to go. The place has a great staff of customer service personal. Yet the male doctor (There are two a male and female) is by far the biggest arse you will ever meet. Guy even told me to get the Fu@# out. All do to his unprofessional, hurry up eye exam. Call me the next day to tell me the one that didn't get made was ready, get there two days later and it's still not finished. If I can give this place NO STARS at all I would. This place is so unorganized and the customer service given by the employees is EXTREMELY bad. I took my mother on March 7th to replace her glasses because the lense was scratched and not only did we pay for the $45 for the eye exam when it was supposed to be free, but then we had to pay extra for her glasses to get mounted. So in total we had to pay $180... They had told us that the glasses would be ready in ten buisness days, that's being the worst case scenario. Well here we are three weeks later and still no glasses. When we called the store to see if they were ready the guy that answered was very rude and he said that he was the manager when he really wasn't and told us that we had to wait another three days, we asked to speak with someone else besides him because of the fact that he was so unproffessional. The "free" eye exam turned out to be over $80 dollars. Fine however the prescription i was given was total garbage. I couldn't see anything. I requested a refund for the contacts i ordered with that prescription and the money was returned to my account within two days. Fine. Two weeks after ordering two pair of eyeglasses only the sunglasses were ready. When I put them on I couldn't see anything. The progressive bifocals were supposedly cut too low. The representative then told me it would be two more weeks. WHAT? The other pair(clear lenses) was sent to a different lab and had not arrived. Now I am left wondering if that second pair was screwed up also. I told the representative that I would give them one week to correct my order or I would cancel my order and that I wanted a full refund. In my twenty years of using glasses I have never encountered a problem until now. I would definitely not recommend anyone to Eye Lab. One star rating only because there is no lower rating. And by the way, a total price of over 500.00 was not a good deal for off brand frames and lenses. read more

This was my first visit and my last! I went for my exam and glasses. The optometrist there is very unprofessional! He started telling me how he was married to his wife and then cheated on her with his sales associate. He told me he was 75 years old. He also told me that I should marry an old optometrist to help me get my laser vision, but that he was too old me. He said that all men are pigs and that they all think with the wrong brains.. He made me feel VERY uncomfortable.. I will NEVER go there again. I'd rather go to Walmart and pay a little extra - knowing that they are respectful and professional. read more

The manager is super professional, attentive,friendly,as well as the doctor and the rest of the staff I was desperate trying to find a place to purchase an affordable pair of glasses and after visiting 4 other places was very fortunate to come across My Eye lab .They were able to accommodate my needs within my budget. I don't even know where to begin. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses in September of last year and right from the beginning it was a nightmare. First they lost one of the frames and had no clue where to look. After several visits and their aggravated faces whenever I walked in we finally decided on a different frame no extra cost of course. That alone took six weeks after hearing their two week speech. This is where it gets good.. Quality is horrible !!!! I picked out a Harley Davidson Frame and shortly after getting them one of the lenses popped out and was lost. I went to their office and had advised them that that particular lens always had an issue.... I had to dish out $80.00 to have the lens replaced. While that was going on I had just gotten my second pair from them. These were Kenneth Cole Reaction, very nice frames. In under 3 months I had issues with them becoming loose so back to the Lovely Hialeah location I go! I am told that these frames are discontinues but the good news is that I am under warranty.... yay!!! NOT! Since they are discontinued they have to have me pick new frames "oh joy!" I picked them out and am told I have to pay $75.40 to have them replaced under warranty! What a joke! This place is a serious money pit!!! Don't get me started on 2 of their staff people that have the customer service skills of a pit bull.. Attitudes and angry faces.... Do yourself a favor.. Go to Walmart optical or somewhere else.
