If I had known that the exam would be a "remote zoom call type exam" I think I would have canceled my appointment. When I got my glasses they seemed okay in office but when I got outside, I had trouble seeing things clearly. I took them back and was told they were the right prescription. They have good deals considering the eye exam is comp'ed if you buy their glasses. The cost for 2 glasses with the same prescription was $139 today and this was with progressive lenses. I did add transition lenses to one pair that was another $40. The glasses fit good, tho the issue was with the measuring part for the progressive lenses. I got both pair of glasses in and the left eye on both were wrong. It already took 2 weeks to get this in, now I have to wait another 2 weeks to get these two pair of glasses fixed and back. Very frustrating. The building is in an older area, tho the store itself is decent. Staff was helpful and kind, just one of them didn't get my measurements correct. read more

The remote Dr exam is ok, but my glasses did not clear my vision. Stanton will do nothing to fix or even evaluate if what I'm saying is true (which it is). So, I'm stuck with starting over somewhere else. Might as well pay for real eyeglass service. read more

I hate to leave a bad review here because everybody was super nice. I was just completely unsatisfied with the whole process. I guess I shouldn't have trusted the remote exam to begin with, especially considering that the hardware was dirty and I'm sure they got the prescription wrong. I never heard from them about my glasses being ready, and so a week after I was supposed to get them I called and they had apparently been there for a while. When I got the glasses, a pair that was supposed to be bifocals was instead a blurry pair of single focus, and the trifocals that were supposed to be line less Were not and had a line right across the field of my vision. They did at least refund my money. I'm just not able to recommend them because the end product was so bad. read more

My wife got her eye exam here and to our surprise there is no licensed optometrist on property. Instead, the exam is done remotely which really didn't serve my wife's needs because she has a vision issue due to an autoimmune disease. After receiving her glasses sold by Stanton Optical she complained she couldn't see very well. We won't be returning. read more

We really enjoyed our experience at My Eye Lab. Tracy and Nikolas were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Great prices, even with insurance. They do walk-in eye exams (which is hard to find). They have all the equipment to do a full exam. The technology is kinda cool, too. During the exam, the doctor is on video and remotely controls the machine that checks your prescription. My son received his first eye exam, and they were so nice and kept him relaxed. That was huge for him! Definitely suggest My Eye Lab on Hulen. read more

Listen. I broke my glasses and I've been wearing a four year old prescription. I finally had some extra funds to get new ones! Thankfully MyEyeLab was open and I was able to squeeze in an appointment. They were following all the precautions needed during this COVID pandemic. They had the doors locked, they checked temp before entering and etc. TBH they were doing better than most places. Anyway, I go in. S U P E R friendly staff. I wish I had gotten names, but they were PHEOM and made the experience worth it. The doctor? Meh. How personable can you be via telehealth? But those employees helped me out SO MUCH. As someone whose had glasses every year/every other year for 29 years, I appreciated the extra effort! Seriously. If you're in a fix and NEED(not want because let's face it. Today I went in for an eye appointment for the first time in forever. The staff was very helpful and kind. They followed COVID protocol to the fullest and I great appreciate that. Brian was spectacular. He was reassuring when I would keep blinking my eyes in on of the test. He helped to with my frames choices. I have been stressing so much about my frame being broken on my glasses because I know they so expensive. Buying new ones is just not in the budget right now but I came to the Hulen location anyway because at the end of the day I need to see lol. I went in after purchasing glasses with the employee Nicholas. I wore them for about two wills and told them I have a problem with them. This is when Tracy had put my glasses onto her face, looked around telling me, "We can work with these." Soon she goes to the back, moving back and forth about three times. She then tells me to wait in the front, then Nicholas followed her to the back once more. She was sitting on the machine, giving her OWN eyes an exam when they were supposed to be tending to me. I asked why my glasses were lighter than they were before, No reply. My glasses felt as if the lenses were turned upside down. Tracy cancelled my appointment with the doctor saying I wouldn't need to see him. She then messed with my lenses some more and refused to let me speak to my doctor saying, "Just speak to me." When I noticed it want my frames, they said "Heres a refund." I did not want a refund, I wanted my frames I purchased. My card was swiped for 250, then 213 in cash. Tracy was showing that I and her had the "Same" frames. She then said we "Black" folks love to be "Flashy." I was then supposed to go to Arlington, then I was sent glasses from dallas. However i azked for a full refund in cash as i paid cash when i placed my order and they are refusing to give me my cash back.
