It is served with a salad and topped with an egg. The Queperi is essentially beef brisket served with cheesy rice, fried plantains, and yuca. It is a delicious and satisfying plate. If you like hot dogs or sausage, try the Pique Macho. It is a huge plate of sautéed beef and sliced sausage cooked with onions, finished with slightly cooked tomato wedges and topped with jalapeños. The beef and sausage sit over a bed of steak fries, and all of the flavorful juices soak into the fries, giving them an incredible flavor. The downside is that some of the meat is a bit tendonous, but the overall flavor is very good and the dish is definitely worth trying. The Lomo Saltado is another good choice. The flavor is quite good, and the portion is generous. They also have a bakery section with Napoleons and a variety of Bolivian baked goods, including cheese bread. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste.
