If I could give less than 1 start I would…read more I took my 10 year old Lenovo laptop in to have the fan replaced. The machine was booting fine before that. I got the, we'll call you when it's ready, don't call us line. What away of doing business. I stopped in each week for 4 weeks and it still was not ready. Guy who worked on it told receptionist he was waiting for something to dry. He must have been talking about component paste. I started raising an issue about the number of weeks for a 15 minute job and what the check was the tech waiting to dry. Component paste doesn't need dry time. I waited 3 more days to pick up the machine. Got it home, booted it up and it would not boot. Never even made it to the Windows login dialog (oh yeah and they wanted my password too. if you give them a machine with sensitive data, you don't want to give them your password). Took it back. Told them no one ever tested the machine, oh yes we tested it. No way they could have tested otherwise they would have seen no login dialog. Another week. Went in. Receptionist told me she spent a lot of time researching this and this is a known issue with the motherboard. WHAT A BUNCH OF B.S. This machine worked fine until I took it to these people for 10 years. Never a problem until Computer Guys mismanaged and broke it. Handed me two disks where they took my data off. What modern computer has a disk drive any more. Listen I've worked in the IT industry for 30 years. I didn't do this job myself because I am already busy. I just wanted someone to fix the fan. A job of 15 minutes. $50 / per 15 minutes is pretty good rate. Better than my rate per hour. Only to have them completely bastardize my machine. These people don't know what they are doing in terms of business nor fixing your machine. Be ware.

~diagnostics fee $155 was required upfront yet no call back or follow until "I" had to pursue text…read moreand calls for update after a week and a half. ~ at time of equipment drop off was verbally informed the diagnostics fee could be applied towards a new printer if required a new printerhead yet upon making my follow up call because of not hearing back there was no mention of that applicable diagnostics fee being applied towards a new printer due to defective printer head evaluation. ~ upon pick up to retrieve my equipment, I reminded of their verbal diagnostic fee statement that they would apply the diagnostic fee towards a new printer as stated during my initial drop off. ~ I was told that he would circle back to me with comparable printer options to apply the fee to and they would let me know the pricing on a new printer. I insisted that it not be a refurbished printer, as I had already looked up my type of printer that I retrieved back, knowing exactly what Amazon was charging for it.. ~ not surprisingly that I never heard back anything. Not a text not a call, nothing same as after I dropped it off. ~ hugely disappointed and I recommend you save your money if you require any type of diagnostics. ~ it's unfortunate for them as I would have possibly utilized additional service needs and possibly offered recommendation, but unfortunately, I cannot do so because I walked away completely and totally dissatisfied after the initial reassurance that the diagnostics fee would be applied towards replacement equipment. ~ even after I reminded of all this and his lip service that he would research and contact me back with a comparable option to apply the diagnostics fee for a new printer 'not a refurbished version.' To add to my panic, I had to take a flight later that same day. I went to iTech and spoke with the very personable Nick, who was certain they could quickly and professionally accomplish the malware removal, virus removal, and computer security remediation for both my laptop and mobile phone. iTech went to work and within two hours cleaned up my phone and laptop, which was heavily infected. They were courteous, responsive, professional, thorough and efficient. Clearly they knew their stuff.
