We were looking for a unique venue for our November wedding. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) One thing I didn't realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn't do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I'd like confetti, but she explained why she doesn't allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn't enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. Though there is excellent lighting, I would recommend watching your step as we did have a few tripping incidents (that were not alcohol fueled in some cases) as the ground changed. It was more due to the way things were spaced and we'd have to make sure to look down as we stepped around things, but we managed to survive. We've started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn't feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can't wait to start reading her book. She gave us the sweetest compliment after, saying how kind our guests were and how that spoke to who my husband and I were as well. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

This "host" runs what feels like a high‑fee, low‑standards…read moreoperation: the property was not guest‑ready on arrival, multiple fixtures were already broken or loose, and basic maintenance had clearly been deferred for some time. Throughout the stay, we dealt with pre‑existing issues (including a faulty toilet seat, loose towel racks, and other maintenance problems) that were documented in photos and reported via Airbnb at the outset. Instead of taking responsibility for those defects, the host later tried to reframe them as "guest damage" and filed a last‑minute claim nearly two weeks after checkout. The most troubling part is how the host attempted to justify the claim. They produced "Greenland Maintenance" invoices that, when you look at the contact details, appear to trace back to the host/management company itself, not an independent contractor, and even listed a non‑functional email address. A separate retail receipt showed inexpensive linen purchases from a big‑box store, presented as if they were evidence of substantial "damage." On top of that, this is a pet‑friendly listing with hefty upfront charges: cleaning fee, carpet shampoo fee, linen fee, and pet fee. After collecting all of those, the host still tried to bill hundreds of dollars more for so‑called "deep cleaning" for pet hair and minor chair "stains" that fall squarely within what any reasonable guest would expect those existing fees to cover. It felt like an attempt to double‑charge rather than a good‑faith response to actual damage. The cleaners were physically waiting in the driveway at checkout and entered immediately after we left, yet no issues were raised at the time. Only at the very end of Airbnb's reporting window did the host file an $800 claim. That timing, combined with self‑issued invoices and vague allegations, left me with zero confidence in the honesty or professionalism of this operation. I would not stay with this host again, and I would strongly urge anyone considering this property to read the fine print on all the extra fees and to document everything extensively if you decide to book despite these concerns. I did eventually received my full deposit back. As to the other charges, she explained to me that it Month2Month was stuck between my issues and the insistence of the actual homeowner in charging me the excessive charges. In the end she was able to negotiate a sizable reduction of the costs although I felt they were unfair to begin with. But I did want to add the context that in my case, the root cause seemed to be an unreasonable homeowner and acknowledge that Month2Month was caught in an awkward situation.

Very accommodating and went above and beyond after I mistakenly left my khakis there. She immediately had them shipped to my home. She was so nice and communicated with me the entire time. Probably the best host I've had the pleasure of dealing with. This is guesthouse is saved as one of my favorites. I for sure will return when I need another weekend away with my significant other. Maintenance requests to get rid of them doesn't solve the issue. Your room can be clean but that doesn't mean other tenants will be. The bathrooms are always dirty(poop/pee on the seats and floor). Loud outside noise. It's near a busy street so there is a lot of traffic noise. There is also a homeless issue. It's common to hear strangers outside yelling curse words late at night. There is no AC anywhere in the building so it can get really hot and humid during the summer and during heat waves. There is no safe parking for your car, you will have to park on the side of the street near a busy road. If you try and park in the nearest lot you will get towed because it's owned by a restaurant that is connected to the building. There are many more cons but this review would go on longer than it already has.. There are some pros, rent is on the cheap side, maintenance requests can be quick, and the location will have you near useful places like a grocery store, bank, and post office. However, it really sucks living here. Unfortunately, I would not recommend living here unless this is your last resort like it was for me.

We called the office and explained the situation and they were willing to work with us, at least to get a downstairs unit because there are no elevators in this resort. We eventually got a downstairs mobility unit and we were really appreciative of the staff who were so supportive and accommodating. Although this resort is kinda dated, this mobility unit was very nice and well thought out. The bathroom, kitchen, dining table, etc. were designed with a person in wheelchair in mind. The front porch was really close to the three handicap parking spaces for this building. And there is a beautiful courtyard with miniature golf available. I did not have a chance to check out the swimming pool area. This resort is also close to Disneyland and not far from a lot of different restaurants. With the friendly and accommodating staff, I think they deserve five stars.

The front desk was least helpful to help escalate this issue other than offer a room change and suggesting we file a complaint formally online. We've stayed at many hotels and vacation properties, but have never experienced anything this disturbing. Let that sink in: **fleas AND bed bugs.** This is not a minor housekeeping issue or an unpleasant inconvenience. Finding evidence of bed bugs in a vacation rental is a serious health, sanitation, and property-management failure. Discovering fleas on top of that made the entire experience even more disgusting and stressful. A place where guests are paying to relax should be clean, sanitary, and safe. Instead, we were left worrying about being bitten, what we might have brought home, and whether our belongings had been exposed. The last thing anyone should have to do after a vacation is worry about transporting bed bugs or fleas back into their home. What is especially unacceptable is that basic inspection and housekeeping procedures should have caught a problem like this before guests were put in the room. Guests should not have to discover an infestation themselves. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering staying here think twice and thoroughly inspect the room and their belongings before unpacking. I certainly did not expect to have to treat a vacation stay like an infestation investigation. WorldMark/Dolphins Cove needs to take this seriously. This isn't about a stained towel or a room that wasn't perfectly clean. Bed bugs and fleas are an entirely different level of failure.
