(Chase Travel Portal mentioned it began @ 6:30am) This hotel has 4 stories and an open parking lot that wraps around the building. There's no pool, but you will find a bar inside, a couple lounge areas with TV, a small 24 hour fitness center with water machine, and an outdoor terrace with seating and a few games. Upon arrival, the hotel was very clean and quiet. The front desk staff greeted me and was extremely friendly and fast to service. The elevator was a bit older and slow to operate. I booked a king suite and was able to request a higher level and far from the elevator to avoid constant noise. The rooms were about 360ish sqft and have an interesting, but functional layout. You'll find that it's pretty spacious with a long couch and ottoman, partition desk that separates the "bedroom" from the living area, a spacious and open bathroom that has a frosted glass and wooden sliding door (no lock). There is a TV off to the side of the living room and bedroom but it does pull out and move side to side to accommodate for whichever side of the room you are on. There are blacked out curtains and the AC worked amazing! There's a mini fridge and microwave as well. The bed was super clean and comfortable! The bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels, a makeup remover wipe, two bars of soap for the sink, and the shower comes equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles mounted on the wall. I enjoyed the walkability of the location! You have everything within a 20 min walking distance or a short 1-5 min drive. Important to note: you must place your room key inside a slot adjacent to the door to power the room.

Aside from the elevator issue not being resolved during our stay, everything else was great and we would still consider coming back.

The dogs got to go on the beach before 10am and after 4:30pm everyday. The house was remodeled less than a year ago. Everything is still in tip top shape. We had a problem with the propane tank being empty and the vertical blinds not working in one room. They were out that day and fixed it all. Thank you so much! We plan to do it again!

Very Disappointing Stay…read more What a disappointment. This hotel is in serious need of some attention, deep cleaning, and updating. The first thing I noticed was the couches in the lobby. I honestly wouldn't even want to sit on them. They are visibly dirty and stained, especially around the bottoms, which look like they may have had some type of water damage. For a lobby--the first impression guests get--it was very uninviting. Unfortunately, the rooms aren't any better. There is a strong, unpleasant odor that reminds me of old cleaning solution or stale soap. The carpets look like they haven't been deep-cleaned in a very long time, and I definitely would not feel comfortable walking around barefoot. The paint is old, and the overall décor and style are extremely outdated. Then there's the bathroom. It is outdated and run-down, with worn and chipped floorboards. The toilet and bathroom surfaces are seriously stained and give the entire space an unclean, neglected appearance. I will give them credit for one thing--the hot water works! What makes this even more disappointing is that this hotel is near the beach, yet there is absolutely nothing about it that gives you that clean, fresh, relaxing beach feel. With this location, there is so much potential to make the property bright, welcoming, and coastal. And the saddest part? We're here for four nights. This hotel needs some serious TLC--deep cleaning, new flooring and furnishings, fresh paint, bathroom renovations, and an overall update. Definitely not the beach getaway experience we were expecting. Don't let the pictures on the internet fool you.

I could not have asked for a better team to spend my wine tour with. Liz was funny, out-going, and always available to take a picture for you. We went to three wineries and each one had something special to offer. The lunch we had was exquisite. The brownie pairing with wine was amazing!!! My group had the turkey wraps, roast beef sandwiches, and the Cesar salad! Food kept us going as we sipped many great wines. I had a memorable experience and I am looking forward to seeing them again.
