I added a star because the property manager was responsive to our concerns and contacted the tenants about the multiple complaints.

I decided a few days prior, I wanted to stay an extra night. They were able to message me and informed me I could book another reservation for the additional night and they would make sure I stayed in the same room without having to check out, which they did. Upon check in, you enter the lobby which has a large variety of seating and a bar. They do have a happy hour menu which I thought was great. They do also offer complimentary breakfast in the morning. It looked pretty popular by the amount of guests that would pop in for breakfast. The room itself was clean, spacious and I loved the whole kitchenette. They have a a small gym that is available 24 hours, and a pool. Parking is $28 per night, but given that you are literally central to everything, I didnt mind it at all. Usually in the mornings you hear vacuums going and the commotion of room cleaning going on, which can make it hard to sleep. I didnt hear a thing! I also love that you need your room key to enter the main entrance at night. Just a bonus security feature. Everything about my stay was great. I would most definitely come back!

Laura at the front desk did what she could when our room wasn't ready upon arrival. After we mentioned the condition of the chair, she arranged one room with free parking, which we appreciated. Deanne, our waitress, was very kind and accommodating. Gilbert, our waiter, went above and beyond. Both my son and I have severe food allergies, and he took excellent care of us. His service was truly exceptional. Unfortunately, the day before (6/12), when my son had asked staff about safe food options due to his allergy, the staff on duty seemed uninterested and dismissive, which was disappointing and concerning. Jasmine in the coffee area was also very sweet. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. Julie, the bar manager, appeared to be drinking wine every time we saw her. At one point, when my husband got up to look for something, she responded with attitude rather than asking if he needed assistance. The bar was packed with softball teams and players, and it felt like helping guests and supporting staff should have been the priority. Service overall was poor. We requested towels and waited over an hour. After following up, we were told the request had been forgotten. The condition of the room was unacceptable. The chair in room 833 was broken and extremely dirty. We were told it would be replaced, but it never was. Most concerning of all, after returning home, my husband developed bites and went to urgent care...they were consistent with bedbug bites following our stay. One additional disappointment: I accidentally left my Conair 10x magnifying lighted vanity mirror in the room and called the very next day to ask if it had been turned in. I was told it had not been found. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience we've had--the dirtiest hotel with only a few friendly staff members. We will never be back,

The hotel was quiet despited being close to the freeway and was nestled in an industrial area. We liked our stay there because of the newly renovated rooms, comfortable bed and living area with a trundle bed. One interesting note about the room is the toilet area is in a separate small room with its own sliding door and mini-sink. It's a bit of an odd configuration but multiple sinks work for me. As i said, the king bed was comfortable, the couch with desk area & chair were a nice touch. I liked that there was a wet bar area that had both a small fridge and microwave. It was a spacious suite and thats what I like. I do not care for the $19 daily parking fee. Parking SHOULD BE FREE. It's really not acceptable to be nickel & dime'd like that. This is not a crowded part of town nor is their parking lot shared by other businesses or hotels. Continental breakfast was included as per standard at Springhill Suites locations. It was decent. Nothing special. Just got myself toasted english muffin & a banana in the am. There is a small putting green in the courtyard area towards the back of the building. Pool is inside.

While I did not enjoy not knowing if I still had a home or not, I did enjoy my stay! Everything was clean and very nice. The TV in one of the bedrooms even moved so I could pop in an HDMI cable to watch some of my DVDs. I had no experience with the hotel staff, but they gave my mom a parking pass without any questions (and trust me, my former father-in-law would have complained about that!) If I am ever back in California and need a place to stay, this would be on my short list of places to stay.

Since we got…read morethere the room smell horrible but we thought it was a temporary smell maybe coming from the hallway, the smell never went away, when I question the housekeepers, they said that there had been a maintenance issue in the past with this room and that the smell had never gone and that I should go to the front desk to complaint of the smell. One of the housekeeps even indicated that they probably gave me this room because I was Mexican because they would had not given the room to a Caucasian person. I went to speak to the front desk and they argue that they were sold out and that they had already scheduled a carpet cleaner in 4 more days to and that they would send someone to put some deodorant in the meantime, well the deodorant never happened and the carpet cleaner 4 days later didn't help. I had to go to Bath and Beyond to buy some fragrances to help with the smell. There were also bugs and spiders in the room. I will attached videos of it. Other guests or kids from nearby apartments would be playing basketball at 3 am and wouldn't let us sleep as we could hear the ball bouncing to the room. The internet does not work with devices like FireTV sticks or Xbox, they lock it so you can only watch Netflix and force to buy on Demand movies. They will also charge you if you go over specific amount of data usage although they advertise that the Wifi is Free. In one of the rooms Netflix never worked, a technician came to reset the device and two days later it was back to not working ( we were in a two bedroom suite). They also didn't have any Frying pans or necessary items to cook, came to find out that the house cleaning ladies never did inventory or checked what was missing and all my month stay I couldn't cook because they hadn't provided all the utensils and pans needed for cooking, I did complaint to the housekeepers and they said that I should had asked for it from the beginning but how was I supposed to know what was to be part of the kitchen???? We went away for a couple days and the reception workers knew about it, when we came back we found an inhaler on the drawer that was not ours, none of us have asthma. They said they would investigate and no one followed through with us, I asked the house cleaning ladies if they had left it there as perhaps it was them and they said it wasn't theirs, it freaked me out to know that someone was on our room when we were gone but they never told me who went in. Gladly nothing was missing or stolen that we know of so far. They only do housekeeping ever other day and will not leave extra toilet paper or towels, I kept having to call to request these necessary items. Do not stay on Room 627, I wish I could had been more persistent on moving to a different room, I stayed because all of our work equipment (work from home) and clothing etc.. had already been set up and we were supposed to stay only for two weeks but my apartments kept extending our stay, if I would have known that I was going to stay longer I perhaps could had been more demanding and request a new room from the start. Not sure why this hotel doesn't check the rooms for inventory or smell, bugs etc... Definitely poor management. I will never stay at one of these properties again.

There were a few times that extensive repairs were required on the property and every step of the way I felt that things were being taken care of swiftly and thoroughly. This speaks volumes on Leonard's positive relationship with the tenants and his care for the property. I wholeheartedly recommend Leonard and Up Property Management to handle your property.

One of the most frustrating rental experiences I've had, largely due to how this was handled by…read moremanagement, specifically Christopher and David. The unit was listed at $4,200. We initially explored pricing and ultimately submitted a paid application for $4,000, not $3,800 as they later claimed in their response. We have email proof confirming this. We were also told there could be flexibility around $4,100 if we had strong documentation, which we did. Based on that, we were encouraged to apply, pay fees, and submit everything. After doing all of that, there was no real movement or consideration. What made this worse was their response, which included inaccurate statements about us "lowballing" and "going behind our agent." That is simply not true. We were fully transparent with our agent the entire time, and she can confirm that. We also have texts supporting it. Nothing was hidden or "found out" later. Instead of focusing on a reasonable $100 difference that could have easily made both parties happy, they chose to argue and escalate things publicly through responses rather than work toward a solution. That says a lot about their priorities. The bigger issue here is the lack of transparency. If the price was always firm at $4,200, that should have been clearly stated upfront. Instead, we were led to believe there was flexibility, only to find out after paying application fees that there wasn't. The communication throughout felt dismissive and unprofessional, and their response only reinforced that. My advice to anyone considering renting through them: be cautious before paying any application fees, and make sure any statements about pricing flexibility are clearly confirmed in writing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend working with this team.
