The hotel staff was friendly and the room was fairly nice and seemed recently redone, except not the beds, the mattress seemed a bit worn and too soft but I realize that is personal preference. The location seems quite safe, note they charge extra for parking. It doesn't appear to be a restaurant on site however there is a café that serves Starbucks coffee and snacks, as well as a bar.

They don't offer lotion and the hair dryer was weaker than my phone battery. The shower door was leaking water near the faucet area, so I had to place a towel on the floor to wipe it off. The view of the hotel room was a parking lot and trees covering the neighbors yard. When you come out of the lobby, you'll see the view of SGV mountains and plazas. Their free WiFi is on and off like my previous toxic relationship ever since I logged on. The best parts were the beautiful, clean swimming pool with a fire pit patio and all the female concierges were welcoming and greet us every time we walked in and out of the hotel. It's conveniently located next to an Asian plaza and across the park, but the walk to the nearest bus stop is 15 minutes away, which felt like 30 minutes for me. I don't recommend staying here if you have bad legs, unless you have good cardio and endurance to walk uphill and downhill under the sun.

Let me state that I have been staying at this property at least 15-20 a year since 2014. I stay in…read morea Hilton Hotel all across the United States at least once a week. So, my experience with Hilton and this property is vast. This property a few years ago did go through an upgrade to the front entrance, lobby, front desk area, and the main dining area that is beyond the lobby. The remodel or update though done a few years back is excellent. It is very inviting and exactly what you would expect from a Hilton Embassy Suites property. Devin and the front desk team are exceptional! Prompt, professional, and very customer service oriented. Beyond those two notable items in which this property shines, it falls off a steep cliff after that! The rooms are dated. They are dingy. They are marked up, beat up and rusted in various parts of the rooms (or at least the ones I have stayed in). Some of the rooms have drawers that do not close so they are open. Some of the phones do not work int he rooms. Lamp fixtures are crooked because they are old and just beat up. There are stains on sofa's, walls, counter tops, etc. In the shower, there are yellow rust stains and cracks throughout. Toilet paper simply doesn't stay on the bar so it's often rolling off and onto the floor. Housekeeping is lack luster. Trying to get a room that has the adequate towels, wash clothes, coffee, etc. is almost comical at this point. The parking garage which they now charge for is consistent with other Hilton properties, but the issue is it's old. I am not sure who owns the garage as the salon next door uses it as well. The spaces are narrow. Trash builds up in the cans. Lots of areas taped off. Some cracks and pipes that have either leaked or previously caused damage. While it is a park at your own risk, I would expect Hilton to have these issues fixed to be a better space for their guests who do need to park there. The property is in a great location for restaurants, nightlife, shopping etc. It's just gotten to the point that Hilton needs to overhaul the rooms and garage at this point. Staying at a Hampton Inn these days, trumps this property and that is just sad.

Great fresh homemade omelettes, pancakes, French toast, fresh fruit, potato's, donuts, danishes, toast. While the lobby and lower bathrooms, restaurants have all been updated, the personal rooms are certainly outdated. I spent a month here a couple years ago. And enjoyed it. Rooms smell stale, occasional stains on furniture, carpet, toilet seats have etching on them. Rusty vents, noisy a/c. This place needs a serious remodel but we do love it. Happy Hour is great here with bar staff that are terrific. Waiter Sam is quite cranky and short when answering phone or asking him a question. Desk staff was stellar. Devin stands out to me. Breakfast is always great, top notch. Parking is like $20 day unless you are Diamond Member etc.

Front staff was friendly but maybe the ownership could splurg for front desk uniforms or better than non-professional attire. This place is certainly outdated, none of the ice machines worked during our stay. Our room was more than enough for 8 people. One thing was that when we ran the shower and using it at the same time as other patrons. The water pipes would fluctuate between hot and cold.

She was using vulgar language and drugged out talking to herself, next to the entrance, in front of my children. When we asked Martha (front desk) about her, her response was "we can't do anything about her, but we have private security. But they can't do anything about it... like wtf really!? Then we headed to the pool to find out it's closed for maintenance. Ok!? When asked how long, the employee said "I don't know" repeatedly. When asked if there was someone who would know, he said "nope, they don't know either." I asked if you could give us a manager's name who would know, and James responded with "no." Like what kind of dumb butt customer service is this... crap employees just love to be no help. Management needs to fire people that represent your business like that! When questioned about his responses, he said "you can just leave..." This place used to be a great place, but their employees and customer service are absolute trash. Truly reevaluate who represents your front desk, not to mention their sloppy half-ass attire. Now in the room, mold is growing on the wall in our room, and there is hair in the bathroom. I've seen worse, but with their customer service, we will never come back here. You can thank your employees for that! Hotels.com moved us to the Embassy Suites about 7 mins away. I'll never come back to Days Inn! And this is our fifth or sixth stay. Hope you (management) truly evaluates how this situation was handled and makes the proper changes they need to thrive!
