If you say you have appointment get the information you need upfront or stop doing business on yelp. I'm sure they will respond with some sort of excuse, but this is ridiculous. It is amazing to me that they managed to find my phone number to talk to me about this review, but they couldn't be bothered to find my phone number to confirm the appointment. If someone doesn't respond to something like this, you need to try just a little bit hard harder. I hung up on this gentleman because he insisted on arguing and wanted me to take down my review because he didn't think it was fair. Too bad.

Thankfully I found Joe. He was knowledgeable, funny, a great guy and didn't try to upsell a thing. He replaced my water heater at a great price. While he was here my sewer was backing up when he tried to drain the water heater. He asked that we get it cleared before he finished the job. We called Homeservice plumbers and they came out, said there was a block and they would have to tear up the basement and the starting price was almost 7k. More if they found other problems and they repeatedly tried to use, used car sales tactics and scare tactics to get me to replace Joe as my plumber and destroy the basement to clear a "block". Joe recommended Colorado Sewer Service and they came out and cleared the "block" in 10 minutes for 1/50th of what they were going to charge to tear up the basement and install a new unnecessary pipe just to begin with, which I am sure they would have tried to turn into a 20k plus job. Joe did a fast and excellent job and is just a good human being. I cannot say enough good things about this man and his business. Without a doubt I will use him for every job I need in the future. The two smaller companies offered a great price, this one being the better of the two, however, this one also was able to route the the exhaust through the roof instead of through the side wall, which would have included through a bathroom, which made the decision easier. They were able to come out fairly quickly, only delays were because of the snow on the roof, and the install went quickly which included removing a tank water heater and doing piping work for both water and gas. I was really impressed and very thankful for a great job. I did have an issue and the owner ended up coming out right away, even though he was getting ready to go on vacation. He was able to fix the issue quickly and to my satisfaction. I will be using them for any future needs.
