Chef Lauren worked with us to personalize the menu for my partner's milestone birthday celebration and provided a full service dinner for 40 guests in our apartment with compelling warmth, confidence, and the utmost professionalism. The food was mouthwatering from the first tantalizing passed hors d'oeuvres all the way to the desserts which, by the way, included triple chocolate brownies with raspberries on the side. Everything was perfectly flavored; clearly prepared with great care and the finest ingredients; and presented beautifully. We are over the moon and our guests haven't stopped talking about the flavorful food and wonderful service. On top of that, our kitchen was left sparkling clean and there was an awesome stash of irresistible leftovers waiting for us in the fridge to help keep the memory of an already unforgettable and delicious evening alive for just a little while longer. Professional, on time, everything was as promised and beyond.

Meiganne worked with us to create a menu that incorporated the usual (ie bagels, lox) but also something different (ie farro salad, trout salad). The result was fantastic. All the guests loved the food. Even the salad dressing was extra delicious. We were also very pleased that everything was organic, fresh, and locally sourced when possible. Meiganne herself was very calm, responsive, and professional - a real pleasure to work with. She handled our request for recyclable/reusable containers and bottles with aplomb. The serving staff she hired were professional and efficient. Overall a really great experience and we will definitely use her again. Highly recommend!!

You won't be sorry. Our next party, I won't have to look for a caterer again. She, and her crew (which were professional and very friendly) will from now on be our go to caterer. Awesome. Just awesome.

From our very first conversation, Marko and Tanja at Lemons and Olives immediately connected with our vision: we wanted guests to feel like they were sitting down to a big family meal--simple, delicious, and reflective of the place where we were celebrating. They brought that vision to life beyond anything we could have imagined, creating an atmosphere of warmth, intimacy, family, and incredible food. Working with Marko and Tanja was one of our favorite parts of the process. They are warm, flexible, and creative. They encouraged us to build the menu around dishes we love, resulting in a spread that felt personal and unique. During the wedding weekend, their entire team was fantastic. Every conversation we've had with guests since the wedding has included the delicious food and the lovely and attentive service. Hiring Lemons and Olives was one of the best decisions we made, and we only wish they had a restaurant so we could keep eating their food!

I've had my eye on this place for a while. They only start taking orders for 3:30 pm onwards. I ordered: - butternut squash soup (4.5/5) - mushroom soup (4/5) - flatbread (3.5/5) - butternut squash ravioli (4.5/5) - crab cakes (3/5) - turmeric hummus (3/5) - ajvar (4/5) - seasonal greens (3.5/5) - tiramisu (4.5/5) It's hard to find a good veggie soup for takeout, and both soups really hit the spot and the portions were surprisingly filling. I am quite the crab cake connoisseur and these ones fell short, but the butternut squash ravioli was excellent. Overall a great choice for a hearty, homemade-feel takeout option.

The size of the first floor is perfect for that amount of people and the outside deck worked well for smokers and for a quick escape from the crowd to socialize with friends and family outside during the party. We met with the management and explained to them what we would like to do. They gave us a price of around $2,500 which included plenty of food, a waitress, a bartender, a captain, the whole setup, utensils, decorations, and hors d'œuvre. The home was quickly transformed into a catering venue and it looked completely different after the setup, especially with a bartender in your kitchen area BEHIND A BAR STAND SERVING DRINKS IN A TUXEDO! THIS WAS A FIRST! A wonderful waitress walk around the crowd serving hors d'œuvre as the guest arrived. The bartender was friendly as guest kept coming back for more drinks and placed tips on the bar. I don't know about the sandwiches, but the rice, chicken, pernil, and all the other stuff was great!
