Where else can you stroll the aisles with a free coffee in hand, pretending you came in for "just one thing," while slowly filling your cart with items you didn't know existed but now absolutely need. And the rotisserie chicken might be the best financial decision in the whole store. Somehow it's the one thing that feels like a bargain while everything else gently reminds you that quality comes at a price. In the end you walk out with great groceries, a lighter wallet, and the comforting feeling that at least you did it with a cup of free coffee in your hand. Honestly, worth it.

Whoever is doing the recruitment and training over there, must be given full marks for their effectiveness. The place is always busy, local Wiltoneers pouring in and out and it has everything from Veggies to milks, to meat, to Deli items and even cooked food. The food is always fresh and you find them restocking newly prepared food throughout the day. Everything here has a feel of freshness and the quality is consistently good. Based on my experience, this place has come in pretty clutch for me from time to time, and this has especially been true for me this year. Sometimes you will have sales on certain items that might save you a little money. But now we get into 2 reasons why I can't give this the full 5: this place can get OTT expensive real quick, and not everything they offer is actually worth buying. Some of the prepared meals like the spicy tenders or the grilled chicken you can just tell is processed to oblivion just from one look at it. So you definitely need to be careful what you buy from here. That being said, there's a lot more here that is worth buying than not. Their baked goods for example are quite good, and the breads are actually pretty good quality and worth the extra cost. Some of the things I have learned to cook come out a lot more delicious when buying groceries from this place. For example, I've recently learned how to make a Philly cheesesteak, and the ingredients I get for it largely come from right here at the Village Market! Same with Mac and cheese. And even though some prepared foods don't hit the mark, the ones that do are actually really good. Lastly, remember how I mentioned this place has a community feel? This is due in large part to the customer service in this grocery store. They are always warm, welcoming. It almost makes me feel like I'm one of the family in Wilton even though I live an hour away. All in all, great place to shop as long as you can afford it. Just don't get everything from here and mix in other cheaper places too.

There is minimal "seating" inside but we didn't plan on staying. There were two lounge chairs we sat at shortly outside which was nice (pictured). Got an iced chai latte - delicious, a tad sweet and an iced matcha latte - not as strong as we hoped. "The-Damn Good Sandwich" was stellar however a bit pricey. Overall great experience and the staff was super friendly!

From classic snack imports, books, football merch, cards, limited editions, this store has an impressive selection and reasonably priced! I've shopped here twice, one online and once in store and both times I have walked out with almost $100 in merchandise because there is so much to choose from! In store, keep yours ears perked up because it sounds like a lot of Brits in the area love frequenting this place, a testament to its authenticity. Hidden up there is the farm with pigs, chickens, a pony, sheep and goats with personality. The farm shop sells feed bags and we had a good time feeding the gentle goats. There are lots of well spaced picnic tables and even a couple of children's swing in a tree. In the farm store are edible goodies for any foodie. We left with a ripe Camembert cheese, salami, tea bread and crackers. I have to eat gluten-free but they had enough of a selection to make me happy. They also sell their own home grown veggies. I plan to make this a regular stop.
