Such a great experience the last few times we ordered on the app! Seemed like the owner was there this am? He gave my Mother in law a taste of their homemade tuna. Everything is always fresh and delish. And reasonably priced. I will def be using this place a lot. My son LOVED his grilled cheese. Wow he's so picky too I've gotten T the kale Caesar wrap a few times so good Their nuggets and fries are also delish Love this place quick and easy read more

Haven't been to Garden Catering since the early-2000's, and I got The Special like 3x a week for lunch when I lived and worked in Stamford. I ended up moving away but was back in the area this morning so popped by and snagged a Big Boy Special. It actually traveled well on its one hour and 20 minute journey home to Jersey. A quick reheat in the air fryer @ 375°F for 7 minutes and it was right as rain and tasted exactly as I remembered it from 20 years ago. Wish they'd open a location in northern NJ cuz I'd be be happier than a pig in slop. read more

We ordering catering and the food was incredible! Delicious, well made, great value, highly recommend!

Classic place to go for a tasty, fast meal. Nuggets and cone combo with seasoning is my go-to. Best honey mustard and bbq sauce. Love their garden wrap. Portions aren't the same from the past and prices are higher. Service is usually fast if they're not busy. Ordering ahead is usually the way to go for a quick pick up. Really a go-to, neighborhood eatery vibe. Nice employees. read more

We got big boy potato and chicken nuggets. They are really good. It's feel good food for a cold winter day. Authentic, rustic and unique, really. I really liked the texture of potato nuggets. A crispy crust and a soft but not soggy core. Being a vegetarian, I can't speak for chicken nuggets, but I was told that the west coast is missing out on these. A must try! Also got a vegetarian wrap with cauliflower nuggets. It was quite bland, not as flavorful as the nuggets. read more

absolutely love the garden kale Caesar wrap! Pro tip: substitute the grilled chicken with nuggets! 10/10!

AMAZING! What is better than bacon, egg and cheese with an iced coffee on a hot Saturday morning??? Man this place delivered! It was my first visit here and certainly not my last. When I walked in I was greeted by the wonderful aroma of fried chicken in a glass case at the front and the smell just begged me to buy a piece. I ate it all, chicken and my sandwich, ohhh yes I did. I didn't leave a crumb and I even licked my fingers like a true lady should. The wonderful smells had me so high that I forgot to take a pic of my food, or maybe because I ate it so fast. On my way home local Greenwich school kids had a Krispy Kreme fund raiser so I pulled over and got a dozed. I inhaled 6 of those babies quickly to make sure my bacon egg and cheese didn't feel lonely in my belly! See you next Saturday! And you know what? Seeing in these reviews that Frankie replies to all his customers tells me he truly cares about his business. Cheers! read more

Poor service and the place is dirty. BEC was dry and the cones were awful. Won't be returning

A hometown classic, Garden Catering is a great place for breakfast sandwiches and various greasy spoon meals.

I came here a couple of times recently and ordered the 1 pound chicken nuggets with honey mustard sauce and fries. Really tasty! If fried food isn't your thing, they have a variety of different salads you can order. GC went far beyond my expectations. The staff was nice and friendly. Small store in a nice convenient location. Just love Garden Catering. You should give them a try. read more

Breakfast sandwiches rock! Nuggets are amazing as well. Staff is experienced and knows your first name. Old school hospitality at its best:

Been eating Garden Catering since the days of Garden Poultry on Greenwich Ave. The OG location is the best in my opinion; Garden is an institution in town and wish them the very best. read more

What can I say about Garden Catering? Never enough good things. Yesterday was the funeral for our dear Dave K. He was a daily customer of Garden Catering for 25 years or so. If that doesn't speak to the quality and service of this business, I don't know what does. What better way to send Dave off, then to have Garden Catering serve us lunch after the service. High quality breads, meats and cheeses greeted us in the event room. For all tastes, they also served up scrumptious vegetarian wraps (with tasty, seasoned eggplant and squash) and fruit. When I mentioned, as an out-of-town guest, that I had never tried their nuggets or potato cones... "WHAT???"... they added some to the catering for the immediate family to take with us on our long trip back home. Fundamentally...Garden Catering has customers for life. First, Dave, and now me. See you in a couple of weeks. Get those little morsels of deliciousness ready! I'm going to arrive hungry! Jake H. read more

What a great spot! The nuggets are so delicious and it matters that they're all white meat! The seasoning adds a little zip to those who want it. The cones are so yummy too. Fast, efficient service. read more

Garden Catering is one of my go-tos any time I'm passing through CT. I've been going for over ten years, and my parents began going there 20 years prior. They have fantastic service and quality product. Be sure to get "The Special" with seasoning! Also, in my most recent trip, I found their COVID precautionary measures to be top-notch. They were prepared and helpful. All orders were online, which you can access by going to their website, but the service was still prompt. Overall, a fantastic spot! A must try! read more

Garden Catering has some of the tastiest nuggets around, and their mac n cheese bites are TO DIE FOR. Load up on different types of sauces for the chicken (my go-to's are buffalo and ranch). The only advice I would give is not to order too much. The food is extremely heavy and will make you feel pretty lethargic afterwards. Other than that, it's delicious and affordable. read more

A hidden gem! I was visiting for the weekend and my sister in law (from Greenwich) recommended this spot. My partner enjoyed the chicken nuggets while I opted for the cauliflower nuggets. The sides were a hit too! The cones, I cannot praise cones enough. The corn nuggets were spot on and so were the mac bites. I hope to come back when traveling to or through CT because I was quite delighted. Thank you! read more

Excellent food. Everything on the menu is superb and original. I have yet to find as good potato cones anywhere else in the country. The chicken is very fresh and seasoned. The BBQ sauce is sweet. The potato cones are very crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with the perfect amount of salt and superb seasoning (I wish they told me the special seasoning they use!). I would highly recommend eating here. The atmosphere is also great. It's a small place and you can't eat there but the staff are very nice and you see lots of locals. Great marketing! Garden Catering never disappoints. The online ordering makes it a breeze to order.

Garden is a good if not great alternative to Chick-fil-A. When we relocated from the south, it was clear that we would need a replacement for that family friendly poultry fast food haven and this seems to fit that role. Above average nuggets, good fries and plenty of chicken-based wraps and sandwiches as well as breakfast offerings. this location really doesn't have anywhere for you to sit or eat but that's OK because the service is fast and they get you in and out with your order in an impressively short period of time. read more

You've entered what could only be an alleyway... the back-end of a food truck... an over-sized closet with ovens + a fridge. Somehow you found your way to an address straight out of Harry Potter: 185-1/2 Sound Beach Avenue in Old Greenwich, CT. In fact, what you've entered is a secret alcove, a hidden treasure, a magical little gem exuding unexpected taste in food + humor both. In fact, what you've embarked upon is a miniature adventure - right here in the heart of a two-block CT town. If you happen to look left, you'll find fresh muffins steaming under a heated lamp. Look right, and witness a comical array of flyers + photos demonstrating heart + humor + deep community roots. Dead ahead, you're likely to notice Mike... Mike: with a half-grin harboring tip-of-tongue jokes, leaning casually behind the register, or poking fun at back-of-house; assembling a ticket at warp speed, correctly assuming a regular's inclination, or passing off one order while deftly ringing up another. Mike: the life of this little party, best as I can tell. A memorable fixture of this establishment for more years than I can count on both hands. The familiar face peeking out from many of (the wackiest of) those pictures you just passed hanging on the walls. You won't know what to order or where to rest your eyes, so maybe you ask Mike for a hand in deciding. He'll be quick to assist, as always. Talkative. Enthusiastic about the menu. Somehow deeply attentive behind a demeanor of nonchalance. Since it's your first time, maybe he hooks you up with some free chicken nuggets (after all, it's their specialty), fries, and potato cones. Maybe he tosses in a colorful variety of dipping sauces - another tasty unexpected quirk of the brand. When you tell him that you simply MUST sample one of those fresh, still-steaming muffins, he DEFINITELY asks if you would like that "buttered + toasted," to which you probably respond, "Excuse me?" (knowing somehow that your life is about to be changed forever). Probably you leave with hands full of brown paper bags heavy with hot food. Maybe you walk just 2-3 blocks down the street to savor the spoils of your little excursion amongst the ducks + geese + turtles (so many turtles!) of Binney Park. At any rate, you're sure to enjoy the experience from start to finish, despite the apparent lack of seating. At any rate, you're sure to return for more - after all, the menu is designed to be explored. When you DO return, Mike will very likely remember you, too. CONCLUSION All storytelling aside, this is my very favorite of the Garden Catering locations by virtue of the experience just conveyed (a true story detailing my own first visit). I'll happily forgo seating in favor of a pleasant experience like this one ANY day of the week. If you have yet to visit this playful little gem of a foodie destination, make a point of swinging by STAT. You won't be disappointed. **A Note To The Staff You people rock. Your food is on point; your humorous, helpful attitudes are contagious; and your enthusiasm is tangible. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! It's always a pleasure to visit you. read more
