This is where you go to see the doctor to be approved and to pay Maryland and the Consults. The doctor will certify your ailment to ensure you adhere to the Maryland State Medical Cannabis requirements. This is in the same building as the David Alexander Salon, but allllll the way to the end of the hall, through two doors. There is a little room packed with chairs. They are very friendly and the wait can be long if you go after 5 PM!! Don't go there thinking you will be "in and out". It's not their fault either. It's good for the State that there is such need for this. It helps taxes and jobs. I have had back surgery and like the balms and non-illicit CBDs. It helps with the back spasms and neck pain. Maryland needs to bring down the annual costs however. It is $200 a year for your medical cannabis card.

I'm sure that's what some patients want, but that wasn't my goal. But I was pleasantly surprised--Karen Logan was absolutely wonderful! I felt like she really cared about me and was excited to hear about the ways cannabis has been beneficial for me since I started my cancer treatment. The conversation lasted 15 minutes and I never felt rushed. She sent me my certification that night and I was able to file my application with VA. She also gave me some great advice and resources about choosing the best THC-CBD options for me. It's been so hard to find good resources because cannabis research has been so limited, and it's hard to know which information to trust. I feel like this provider has stepped into the role of cannabis education and support, which none of my other doctors or nurses have been able to help me with (and why should they?).
