He also allowed a young lady to that seemed to be anywhere from 14-16 to purchase something. He was also quite nice to this young lady, when he was quick to have an attitude with both me and my girlfriend (which I'd say we both are quite polite) as well as a nice elderly woman I spoke briefly with outside the store prior to this interaction. This desk clerk seemed to be quite shady as he acted as if he was running a 1920s illegal speakeasy. My experience with this store has been unprofessional to say the least. Customers can buy a spare as "stock" just like any store can run out of stocking your preference. It's just a little smoke shop but it's BIG on 5 star customer service. I respect THAT. Find your buy/home-stock "balance" and keep that buying routine. You'll never have to wait on a shipment coming in or having to return to get what you prefer. When I was previously told that "everything is for sale," I took that at face value. I made a special trip specifically to purchase Pembroke, only to be told I could buy just two tins.
