"We Love WiCo" A phrase I hear often when I'm at WiCoWork!…read more Houston definitely needs more places like this! As an entrepreneur, I find this space to be a great motivation and a wonderful change of scene from working at home (where I am almost never as productive), or from the boring 777 office buildings (where, frankly, the people aren't as cool). The awesome, completely renovated house- turned shared office space, is beautifully decorated, and is full of character. The staff actually encourage a TRUE co-working atmosphere with weekly happy hours (yup!), seminars, and sometimes free lunch! I searched this city high & low- looking for a centrally located office space... Regis, Level, Start, Boxer... but THIS place stole my heart! From the time I walked in I felt like part of the family! Plus the prices and the authentic (freshly brewed) Columbian coffee are both AMAZING. In fact, the prices are so reasonable, that I even purchased memberships for a couple of my part-time employees! I've met and networked with some of the members at WiCo and the variety is impressive, there is an expert, or young professional around every corner to help boost your brain, encourage you to work harder, or who simply provide a service that could truly catapult your company. Attorneys, graphic artists, marketing gurus, career coaches, real estate mongols, PR pros, foreign language tutors... you name it... I even met a guy there who is a designing video games geared specifically for children fighting cancer! Um... How awesome is that?! All in all, this place is unparalleled in style, price, positive energy, culture, comfort, (free) parking, and community involvement. Whether you're looking for a place to get inspired, a central meeting space so your clients don't have to trek to your (out-of town) office in Katy or The Woodlands (haha!!), or if you're just there for the free seminars and ridiculously attractive people... WiCo is the way to go!

A Hidden Gem for Mindful Meetups!…read more My friends and I attended a nighttime meditation meetup at Sesh Coworking, and it was exactly the kind of peaceful, inspiring environment we were hoping for. The space is clean, colorful, and full of personality with beautiful artwork displayed throughout that instantly sets a calming yet creative tone. You can tell this place was designed with intention. Highlights we loved: * Welcoming, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere * Clean and well-maintained bathrooms (always a plus!) * Safe and secure location -- we felt comfortable being there after dark * Plenty of space to relax, reflect, and connect We only experienced a small part of what Sesh offers, but it left such a great impression. We're already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of their events, coworking options, or maybe even hosting another wellness meetup there. Highly recommend Sesh for anyone looking for a space that's both functional and soulful.

I e-stumbled upon Sesh Coworking while looking for... well... co-working spaces. I registered for…read moreDeskpass and Sesh happens to be one of the locations in their partner network - yay me! Getting there - it's nestled on some side streets just a tad north of Montrose, but you're still in the area. The building number is very easy to spot, but then got murky. It is a building that is occupied by several businesses so there is no marker on the front / side / back of the building to re-confirm you're in the right place - but you're there. LOVE that that character of the building has been maintained throughout. There is a huge skylight feature in Sesh Coworking space which lets a lot of light into the building | gives you NYC loft vibes. Nitty Gritty: There are several open workspaces to work your magic. The (I assume) owners were extremely welcoming and directed me to the open spaces and poured me a cup of coffee (w. refills available). Working - there is a Wellness Room (feeling tired / need to pump ...get the idea) and another private office to take video calls (in a quieter setting). ...phone booths with great soundproofing. Refreshments/Facilities: there is a mini-kitchen with a coffee brewing machine. There is also a fridge but or else you're warming up, best to order (there's lots of restaurants in the area). I believe their website mentions showers on-site? Didn't see any, but I also didn't look. Parking: street parking - nothing too stressful. Reservations: If you are a member, you are able to reserve the offices in advance, butt when booking through a third party (Deskpass) you would need to book an office same-day, assuming it's not taken. (deskpass) they are currently offering a promotional in case you want to dip your toe and not jumping in. Overall it was a great experience - there is background music but not disruptive. It's a cozy space where you can get your work done and then go about your biz.

It was and still is the perfect place to "WINE"-down and grab an delicious appetizer. Perfect to visit if solo, on a date, or with friends or colleagues after work. This quaint lounge setting offers bar seating, high top tables, lounge and booth seating, as well as patio seating overlooking a the beautiful tree-lined street. They also offer a separate room to host meetings or parties. Appetizers are delicious - I ordered their fried pickles and spinach dip. Just enough to hit the spot. For my cocktail, I selected the a classic apple martini (I know, "who still drinks those still?" Lol...I do...nothing wrong with a classic dahling). Great times and worth the check out. Right "upstairs" from Hungry's, this place is a great spot to chill. Self parking is limited, however they do offer valet. No street parking. Enjoy!

The service stood out right away, very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out extremely fast, which was a plus. As for the food, it was decent overall. The wings had good flavor, but the ranch was a bit watery and could definitely use more seasoning. The onion rings were also good, just needed a little extra seasoning to really bring them up a notch. Overall, it's a solid spot for happy hour with good prices, generous portions, and great service.
