This is my first time visiting mutual propane and I can guarantee it won't be my last. The crew here is awesome! Lorenzo was the one who helped me out filling up my tanks, they make it super easy, just pull into the back and 5 minutes later I'm back on my way. Not only were they the best customer service I could have hoped for their price is the lowest in the area. Win-win!

Got a 40' class A, is there enough room for us to get in and out?

Hi Jane, our yards all are big enough to accommodate you.

Do your 20lbs tanks have to be fully empty for a refill?

Hi, no the 20 lb tanks do not have to be empty to fill them. We do have a minimum charge though of $18.45 plus tax.

Can I buy an 11 lb tank here? How about refillable 1 lb tanks?

Hi Angeli, I am not able to check the inventory for your question, please give our Corona plant a call at 951-279-8633. We also have a larger parts department in Gardena, 310-515-0553, and we can usually transfer parts over to Corona in a couple of… Read more

Both times were the next business day after calling. This is my first experience with a propane tank, but so far, I am a satisfied customer and see a smooth future ahead! We took possession of a property with a tank that had an All State sticker…read more I called, left messages, and also sent emails to find out more about the tank. They never responded to any of the calls or online requests. I called our realtor and was told that the tank was owned by the previous property owners. So I called around and had another company fill the tank. 5 months later, I got a call (not sure how they found my phone number) from All State claiming the tank was rented, and I need to pay for another inspection fee, and I wasn't allowed to fill the tank. I refused to do anything until I saw some proof that the tank was not owned, and I argued that I should not have to pay for another inspection fee, especially since most companies don't charge an inspection fee, and the tank was inspected twice within the past few months. Within minutes of the phone call, they sent someone back out and shut off our gas when we weren't home!!!! I called - no answer. I called their emergency number... no answer (comical). They called me back, were super rude and demanded that I empty the tank right away, and they will have it removed the next day. Long story short, I had another provider switch out the tank to one of theirs the next day, and I want nothing to do with this company. I can't believe they left us without gas, hot water, or cook top for two days!! So unprofessional, so rude, and terrible at returning calls. The most interesting thing is that at no time did any of them try to de-escalate the situation or offer any solutions. Just hostile, rude, and unhelpful. So many better options out there.

You know how some people get stressed when things are busy? Not these guys. Calm, cool, collected. Put me at ease as a customer pulling into a busy parking lot. Westair recently acquired (April) Western Propane Services on 12600 Western Ave in Garden Grove CA…read more New ownership / management have run this place into the ground in no time flat. I recently purchased 2.6 gallons of propane and was charged a $4.95 Hazardous Materials Charge. When asked the cashier responded, "this company charges a flat rate standard charge for propane refills". I have been a customer of Western Propane Services for many years. They never charged a Hazardous Materials charge for propane refills. To be clear, I didn't dispose of anything. I brought in my 20 gallon tank for a refill. I highly recommend going elsewhere as this makes the price of propane much higher than it should be. I paid $16.69 for 2.6 gallons of propane. Approximately $6.42 per gallon with their BS fee added. They are also closed on the weekends now. Go elsewhere. U-haul at 7422 Garden Grove Blvd is 1 minute away. They do not charge a Hazardous Materials fee and are competitively priced.
