One of my favorite go to places for snacks and cute accessories for my best bud Milo Kaz

We love the happy cheerful vibes of this spot! Yes they might be a bit more but these toys are the only ones she never tears up or destroys. Totally worth every penny, she also loves her bandanas, they have the best selection. The treat bar is also a great deal, healthy and tons of options, it's a dogs play day

We recently visited this store to cheer on our friend's pup who was graduating from his obedience class class! This is basically a boutique store ( think a fancy and costlier version of PetSmart) filled with absolutely every kind of all kinds of pet supplies you would want to spoil your dear fur baby would with :) They had a great and rather reasonably priced selection of edible treats - ranging from seasonal themed cookies (Halloween specials!) to birthday cakes.

LOVE this boutique! They have a great selection of beautifully curated dog accessories (toys, clothes, collars, etc.) and healthy/natural food & treats. The staff were so friendly and even offered my picky dogs some treats. Definitely worth checking out if you're planning a trip to Solana Beach or San Diego.

They were so helpful and nice! We got our girl the best collar (it's been hard to find a decent one!) and they had a ton to pick from. They were also thorough and very helpful with our food selection. Definitely coming back!

I took a day trip to Oceanside and San Diego then decided to stop by this pet store on the way there when I think it would have some pretty cute outfits for my puppy Fuchsia. It's a small store filled with lots of dog toys even the unique plush toys shaped in purses, perfume bottles, high heels and many other fun toys. There are some cute dog clothes, food, strollers, a few beds and accessories. I found a cute pink and yellow polka dot dress on sale so I brought that when I like dressing up my fur baby when she is a fluffy Maltese. Fuchsia thinks we're going out when I dress her up and never tries to destroy the clothes instead she wears them like a princess. The dress material is nice and easy to wash just toss it in one of those laundry bags for delicate clothes and put it in the washer or hand wash it then let it air dry by hanging it or laying it out.

Muttropolis is such a cute little dog boutique, I've gone to the location in La Jolla but this store has a nice large yard for our fur babies to play in! I came here last Saturday with my Pomeranian Meet Up group and although it was a smaller turn around, we all received such amazing service! The associates inside the store were so friendly and wanted to give our babies so much love! They have so many cute outfits at such great prices considering the make of these pieces! Plus they have a huge little area for treats, our Pomeranians were going crazy! They closed down the front yard for all of our dogs to play in and they even used gates to puppy proof the exits! All the associates were so attentive to our dogs needs, bringing out water bowls and a little tray of snacks for our Pomeranians to munch on! They even gave us little samples to take home! We did buy medication specifically for dog joints and they were a lot more affordable here! If you need to get a little birthday cake for your fur baby you can get a cute cake for $12, definitely worth it! Bring your fur babies here you will love it and so will they!

I have been a patron of the La Jolla Muttropolis for years and recently found Cedros so I decided to check out the Solana Beach Muttropolis. I love this store. I have been here 4 times in the past month and I live in the East County. The staff is uber friendly, knowledgeable and they have a multitude of things to choose from. Since we own little dogs and giant dogs, we find its always challenging to find a one stop shop for their needs, but Muttropolis always has a variety of choices for all our beloved pets. We have gone to two breed specific parties this month and the staff is amazing with all that commotion. They close off the little yard in front and the dogs have a PARTY. It doesn't matter if they are in the flowers, it doesn't matter if they are running through the store, they are treated like VIP guests. It is so relaxing to be in an establishment where your dog can do no wrong. The staff just laughs and snaps photos, they actually understand that they are animals and not furry humans. Yes this is a boutique for pets, so you will find high end items, but that's not all they have. You can buy things from under $10 all the way up into the $100's. From collars and leashes to food bowls. For those of us that like to play dress up with our dogs, they have clothing too. If you have a nervous dog, they have the thunder shirts available here (it is a miracle product). Yes, their dog food is not at Walmart prices, but then you would be feeding your dog some of the best food available on the market, not corn byproducts. (ok ok no preaching here). I'll give you a BIG hint, there are clearance bins throughout the store with discontinued or last season items. These bins are substantially reduced and you can find some real bargains, but the real hint is this. Go to one of their dog events and you will receive a coupon for 10% off of your entire purchase to be used the same day.

The setup makes everything so much easier and faster, and way less messy. After reading other reviews, I started bringing extra towels, brushes, and my own shampoo since my pup has such a thick coat, and that's worked out perfectly. One time I went by myself, and the staff kindly helped me lift my dog into the bath, which I really appreciated. They're always friendly and willing to help. I also love that they have demo products you can try, and they smell amazing! Overall, such a convenient, thoughtful setup that makes bath time so much less stressful. The problem is they don't have any cages in the grooming area. And if you bring 2 dogs in together then it $50 before you do anything!! You don't have a choice to do cageless or caged. One of the great things about Dirty Dogs is that it is cage free. So find another way to increase prices more legitimately, and until then I will have to think twice about coming in again or as often. A friend of mine said that he cut back on the amount that he tips to make up for this charge. That's not fair to the groomers. But it's his way of letting you know that he doesn't approve of this frivolous fee either.

I ended up buying some flower essence and another other calming item, which I didn't know had existed and was happy I was introduced to them by the staff. I will say that I am most impressed and pleased that they fully support rescues and adoptions and we received a "share the love" gift that included some great items like a bag of food that was so generous. Not to mention that it's a woman-owned small business. I'll definitely be back and am looking forward to checking out the other locations!

I spent days researching online and was ready to order everything, but I'm so glad I decided to come in person instead. I ended up spending about $1,000 on a pair of boots, two pairs of pants, and a top, and every single item was top-tier in quality. The fit, the feel, everything was just right. I cannot thank Jennifer enough. She helped me for nearly two hours, patiently guiding me through trying on at least five pairs of boots and almost ten outfits. She was so kind, so patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything fit perfectly. She didn't rush me and even switched out boots just to double-check the fit. I've truly never experienced service like that in any industry. I hugged her multiple times because I was that grateful. She made me feel confident and taken care of in a way I'll never forget. Sizing varies so much between brands. I wear a large in sports bras but ended up in an extra small top from one brand, so coming in person is a must. If you're new to riding or coming back like me, skip the online guessing and come here. The options are endless, the service is next level, and the experience is unforgettable. One of the reasons I originally chose this place was because of their branding around organic, thoughtful, and customer-friendly grooming care. It felt like they genuinely prioritized the well-being of the dogs and the experience for owners. That's why the new $25 "cage-free" charge doesn't sit right with me. This change was implemented April 1,2026. Not kenneling dogs after grooming shouldn't be treated like some kind of premium add-on--it should be part of standard, humane care. I would think that most customers aren't leaving their dogs there for half a day so this fee feels unnecessary and out of touch with how people actually use the service. It comes across less like an improvement in care and more like a way to tack on an extra charge under the guise of something that should already be included. For a brand that markets itself as being about quality and ethical grooming, this change feels inconsistent and, frankly, a bit disappointing. I really hope they reconsider this policy because it takes away from what made this place stand out in the first place.
