I was coming in to return some cat food I had just bought, as my sweet kitty Tofu passed away over the weekend. I was having a horrible day and Talia made my experience so easy- she was so helpful in returning my items and also talked with me about my cat. I showed her pictures of Tofu and it felt so good to be able to talk about him and share funny stories. The compassion she showed me and the genuine concern is something I won't forget. It's clear this Petsmart employs people who actually care about animals and I'm so grateful she was there the day I decided to come in. Thank you Talia and the whole team at PetSmart.

Aprons, towels, brushes and shampoo/conditioner were all available. The water pressure was great, nice and warm and also had a great high power blow dryer. I've been a Dirty Dogs customer for a while, and I'm done. This isn't about one bad day. It's a…read morepattern. In the past, a grooming visit here resulted in my dog needing a trip to the emergency room. Although Corporate handled that well and reimbursed me for the ER visit, that only meant to me that they were aware that their groomers inexperience caused that issue. Appointments consistently take far longer than they should, and many of the groomers seem very inexperienced. If you don't get the good ones, the rest are just really bad or new to the job and it shows in the inconsistency of the outcomes. Last week, they canceled my appointment the day of because a groomer was injured. Things happen, so I rescheduled. At today's rescheduled appointment, I was running a few minutes behind, texted ahead to let them know, and arrived well within their 15-minute grace period. To start NO ONE was at the desk when I arrived. Once she came out, I immediately apologized at the desk for running late, and the front desk staff told me it was no problem. She then checked out another customer and gave me a dog treat before finally going to the back to get the groomers. It took nearly 10 minutes for them to come out. Zero urgency for something that was going to be an issue in regards to their ability to service me. When the two groomers finally appeared, they stood in front of me discussing how they felt about whether they'd "have enough time" for my dogs. Again, zero urgency, zero concern for my time or what I had to do to get there that day at a time that was not ideal for me but was all they had when they forced my reschedule. If you were waiting on a client, where were you? Why were you in the back? You were not on break. You should have been out there and ready to take your next client. So let me get this straight: you canceled on me the day of, I rearranged my schedule around yours, I communicated ahead and arrived within your own grace window, and then you spent 10 minutes in the back before questioning whether you could fit me in? For two dogs that had appointments and at a cost of roughly $300? I am not just sitting around all day just waiting on my grooming appointment as I have to work and I do my best to show up on time and have never been late before and I communicate when or if I can't, as I did today. I expect the same basic respect from a business I've been loyal to. Dirty Dogs lets its inexperienced and clearly unprofessional staff dictate the customer experience instead of the other way around. I won't be back, and I'd encourage other pet owners to look elsewhere.
