Exterior - clean and well-maintained patio.
Kate M.

While coming to Denver many times over the years, I've always wanted to try this place and finally I did! What impressed me was that even though this place is incredibly old (it might even qualify as a historical landmark?!) it was incredibly clean and well-maintained. I love that! The employees were such nice guys. The menu was actually a lot more diverse than I thought it would be. Plenty of options for people who want something a little more on the healthy side. I really enjoyed what I got, the Chicago dog! They had great kid meals for my boys. Overall, I would recommend coming here-what a fun spot to try when in Denver!

Bbq set up

We hired Dave and his crew to cater an outdoor BBQ. It was a blast! We had hot dogs and Italian beef served along with all the sides. They set up a cooking cart to make all the food on premise. Our guests had a blast! Dave and his crew are friendly and kind! The food is amazing! Thank you for a memorable time!!!!

Came in here for a quick bite. Was in the mood for some chicago hotdogs. Did not disappoint to say the least. Service was quick and ambiance was homey. Good is great. Corn dogs are pretty good too

Love the food at Mustard's. I have been coming here for decades. Not so great experience today. So they have 3 sizes of fries: Taste , Small, & Large. This was the "small". I asked if that was the "taste" and they assured me it was the small. I said I need more fries and ordered another small (for another $3) and half assumed they would just give me more fries. Nope. Still love the food, but this place may be losing some luster. Make it right!!

Polish sausage classic style

Delicious. Friendly counter staff. Devoured a polish sausage "classic style" (pictured) and went back for a bratwurst with sauerkraut and mustard. The bread is soft and holds together until the last bite. Just visiting but hope to make one more lunch stop tomorrow.

Great, tasty, filling hot dogs and sandwiches. You can't go wrong with the "chicago classic". Must grab, if you're in Denver.

Food is really good. Employees are clueless. To the degree that I will definitely not be returning to this location.

I love this place! I…read morewas in Denver for a conference, and every night someone said: Let's go to Rhein Haus. It took us all week to get here because of other commitments. That was a huge error because all of the other commitments couldn't add up to the experience here. Rhein Haus is an authentic German restaurant. It has an excellent beer section, great food, and looks like it has fun games. The staff was super friendly, and we had a great time. We started with some beers, a sausage sampler, and a giant pretzel. Get this, and you will be treated to some excellent food. But the entree was even better. I opted for the Jagerschnitzel with beef goolash, braised cabbage, and warm potato salad. I have no idea how goolash is made, but it was incredible. The flavor was so rich, and I pictured how great it would have been on a cold Denver night. Unfortunately for me, it was like 80 degrees outside. The schnitzel was equally wonderful, but that warm potato salad was even better. My goodness, it was delicious. Is it wrong that I am thinking of flying back in just to come visit here? That is how great it was to me.

We have been regular and huge supporters of this establishment for years, especially being fellow LGBTQ members of the community supporting the LGBTQ owners of this establishment. We simply came to Rhein Haus tonite to continue our holiday celebration, and we had a large group. We were a large group so one set went to the bar, the other group were sent to a table adjacent to the bar. The bar group was served immediately, but the table group was not not being served. I addressed this issue with a manager, and he proceeded to kick me out of the bar. I am simply looking to take care of our friends fairly, and this manager felt I was being unfair. I welcome conversation as this was a terrible experience for our group. I felt completely disrespected by the person that kicked me out, and felt he was completely out of line. Tony

East Coast Joe's - Lobster sliders

So glad to finally see a Yelp page for these guys, I've been wanting to give them a rave review for…read morea while. I've been to the farmer's market at the Denver Federal Center for 3 straight years and never have I had so many lunches from a single vendor! lol. Their lobster rolls are to die for: I've checked with a coupld of friends who are from the east coast, and they said the lobster rolls from this food truck are as close to the real thing as Colorado can get! All the offerings from East Coast Joe's are a bit on the pricey side, but are definitely compensated by quality, here's a list of items I've tried in the order of most favorite: - Lobster Roll: very refreshing, every bit is full of lobster meat. The bun is very buttery and the right amount of crunch. I so want to finish trying the different items on the menu just so I could come back and have more lobster rolls, lol - Pulled pork sandwich (I think they lovingly call it "Stick A Pork In It" or something like that, cute name): not as big as I expected, but the pulled pork is SO tender, and instead of being smothered by BBQ sauce, it is topped with a garlic aioli, rich and buttery; then plump bacon strips (no kidding, their bacon is really good); then arugula. Incredible flavor - Lobster BLT: because of the bacon, duh - Lobster grilled cheese: good quality melted cheese, but I much prefer just having it alone (and put the lobster meat in the lobster roll!) - Lobster sliders: mini and cute but you can't survive on just these alone, so might as well get the lobster roll - Shrimp roll: I guess I'm not a big fan of shrimp in sandwiches, especially if there's the option of having lobster in it! I was told they also make a good sausage sandwich, haven't had a chance to order that yet, and I sincerely wish they bring back the homemade chips. Great job Joe and the nice lady whose name I have yet to ask. Please come back to the DFC next year!

I don't often get to food trucks as they are not as plentiful in Boulder as they are in Denver but…read moreI was really glad this one was at Cannonball Creek Brewery in Golden on Sunday. I was with a good beer drinking (and brewing) group and since I am not really a beer drinker I was sure hoping for good food. And I got it. I ordered a Sunny BLTA but without the cream cheese. It seemed like there was already plenty on the brioche roll and with the sunny side egg it was moist on its own. The lettuce was arugula, my favorite salad green, and there were several large slices of fresh tomato and avocado on the roll. The bacon (two huge pieces) was cooked just right for a sandwich, chewable and not hard. The grilled roll was nice and soft so you could keep the big pile of filling intact while holding it. I would get it again in a heartbeat. The staff was very friendly, happy to customize my sandwich though very busy. I appreciated that they delivered the food to our table without us having to wait around the truck. I hope to see this truck again at some other event I might get to in the future.
