I brought a pair of shorts in for alterations and was a little weary due to all the work they needed. When I got them back, I was pleasantly surprised with her work, and now I can say they are my favorite pair. I will definitely be returning with all my alterations from here on out. :) read more

Best dry cleaner in the area! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and I can count on my clothes being ready exactly when promised. They've also done several alterations for me -- perfect fit every time. Highly recommend! read more

My clothes went to the dry cleaner because they wanted to be pressed for time! I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. I dropped off my dress pants for repair on a Wednesday afternoon and was told they would be ready the next day. The repair took less than 24 hours. The shop is located in the SOMA area, and the price was a great deal. The total cost was only $12. They only accept cash unless the total is over $50. I would definitely come back for clothing repairs. As a bonus, they also sell $10 ties on the left-hand side when you walk in. The only downside is that parking can be challenging. However, if you're walking or already in the area, this is a great spot for fast service at a good price. read more

After charging me $65 upfront, my black suede jacket was returned to me completely faded and ruined. I will now need to pay someone to restore it. There was no offer of refund as I was instead told that the color 'sometimes' fades. Considering taking your clothing elsewhere. read more

The lady who works at this laundry mat is awesome. I work Security less than a block away. I come here for all my work related dry cleaning and uniform alterations. I come here because of the convenient location of the dry cleaner which is near 3rd and Folsom. Its near my job. The 14 bus picks people up a block from my house. I ride the 14 bus and walk 2 blocks to this laundrymat. read more

A+ customer service. I messaged the seamstress ahead of time via yelp message and received a response within the hour. A button fell off of my blazer on the way to work and I needed a quick fix before the end of the day. I asked if I could come in during lunch and have the button sewed back on immediately. I came in at lunch and was out in 15 minutes. Incredible. read more

On travel I was in need in a same day laundry cleaners and this company was absolutely stellar! I dropped off my laundry at 9 am and it was done by 4pm perfect timing! Everything was perfectly laundered and perfectly folded into a neat stack! Thank you Museum Parc Cleaners for coming through for me! read more

Took 2 weeks for a trouser and a tank that they couldn't remove. Don't waste $15 and time here. The older lady has poor customer service and is aggressive. Go elsewhere with better customer service read more

I've done dry cleaning here a few times in the last decade, and it's always been a great experience. Now, during COVID-19, the owner is making cloth masks for $10 each. The quality is great (I've been looking for a fabric one that is smoother cotton) and when I mentioned that the ear loops are too loose, the owner immediately helped me modify mine. I liked it so much I got a 2nd one, and this time the owner made one that fit my face better! I think I may get some more in the future so I can rotate using them while the others are washing/drying)! I'm definitely a very happy customer for Museum Parc Cleaners! read more

This place is very shitty, I brought 2 sweaters there for dry cleaning. The owner told me total will be $30. I asked her why it's so expensive for something very light weight, she said she changed by the length. I went back in 4 days, found out my light blue sweater is still dirty, looked exactly like when I drop it off ( had couple light stains) The other sweater is in black, I couldn't tell if it's clean. She said she will clean it again. I just picked it up today, it is still dirty. I asked the owner why it's not clean? She said nothing but "it is NOT guaranteed to clean the clothes". Really? $30 for nothing?! After I went back to my company, I tired my coworker's Tide Instant Stain remover. Checked one hour later, the stain almost gone. What a joke.... don't waste your money here!!!! read more

Four stars for being the only cleaners in recent memory that hasn't smashed or cracked any of the buttons on my work shirts. And the lady behind the counter has only made one small mined and positively racist comment during the entire six months I've been bringing my dirty clothes here. Quite an achievement for a crotchety counter lady who spends her days huffing starch! Glad to see the therapy is working! Minus one star for nearly having to break up a robbery on my last visit -- dude grabbed the cash register, ran out, and smashed it on the side walk in front of me before grabbing the 6 $ inside and tearing off like a banshee. Unfortunately I didn't recognize him as one of the familiar petty criminals that sleep, smoke crack, and poo on my street. I almost had to go one on bum! read more

I've gotten my jeans hemmed here a couple of times. It is located near my office so that is convenient. The service is always quick and the price is cheap. They have always done a good job with the alterations that I will definitely be back. read more

Place is run by these nice Chinese ladies. Fast service, especially if you let them know as you're dropping of your clothes. Reliable and decently priced. read more

I got a peacoat dry cleaned here. I also told the lady to tighten up the buttons on the coat. The coat did come out clean looking and the buttons are tightened up, but it still smells musky. I did pick it up from a consignment shot and was hoping to get the old consignment smell out, but alas to no avail. read more

This place is wonderful. Even though we have a dry cleaning/laundry service for our building, I still come here. I like to KNOW who is gonna be dealing with my stuff, as well as making sure they get it, special instructions, etc. They always do a good job (whether it's been regular cleaning or fixing a suede jacket that I ripped), and if you are cool with them, they'll be cool with you (like the time I brought on shirts that I really needed back ASAP, despite it being late on Saturday and Monday being a holiday). read more

I like this mom and pop shop. I have had several items dry cleaned and altered here. The service is really sweet; she's always really friendly when I come in. My alterations seem fine. Prices are reasonable for the area. I even brought in a pair of Diesel jeans from my son that had a broken button. I brought it to 2 other places in SF that offered alterations, and they were unable to fix it - apparently, there is a special machine that is needed to fix it. But I brought it here, and the jeans looked perfect (even with a new generic button). I brought them home, and my son was so happy that his favorite pair of jeans were repaired. read more

I was not a huge fan of this place, but due to the one block proximity I was obliged to go here. 1. Really expensive. I know that the city is expensive but come on. Also, I have some shirts that are longer and they would argue with me that they were dresses, me thinks because dresses cost more to clean. If I wore some of these shirts with no pants underneath I would be arrested. Oh and I had a pleated skirt that I just couldn't take here because they charge like $1.50 per pleat to iron. That would have added $21 on top of the already steep charge. 2. They can't do any fast cleaning. I think the best I ever got was pick up three days later. 3. Didn't get the stains out and didn't tell me about it. My other dry cleaner always told me when he couldn't get a stain out. This one didn't and I got stuck on vacation wearing a dress with a huge stain on it, I know I should have checked it but a warning would have been nice. read more

The seams came off of a jacket I bought and rather than going through the hassle of exchanging it, I decided to get it fixed. I received the jacket back in perfect condition. She even went as far to resewing the entire part of the sleeve as it was not sewed well originally. Will be coming back for future repairs and alternations. Oh and did I mention, same day repairs?? read more

I thought that they were a bit expensive when I took my clothes in for alternations, but I kept on using them until they repeatedly failed to get stains out of my clothes and didn't tell me about it when I came to pick them up. While I was in the shop, pointing out the stains they'd left in my dress, a woman came in saying that they'd lost her $300 jacket. I will not be giving them my money again. read more

4/2013 review I moved across town and there were lots of highly recommended dry cleaners within a few blocks of me so I gave them a try. None of them were as good as Museum Parc! Things just weren't as clean as Museum Parc gets my clothes. Now I drive across town or have a taskrabbit take my clothes there. Previous review from 2012: Still the best! read more

They are super super super expensive and she wants to try to charge me more than she deserve ! I did not like this place and i definitely dont recommend !!! read more

Good priced place to get some alterations--they do a good job with hems. The dry cleaning is a little more expensive than other places, but considering how close they are to my office and how quick they are it works. Don't lose your ticket as they sometimes have a hard time finding clothes by your name. read more

It never occurred to me to Yelp this establishment before. I don't know why. I mean, for five years now they've been handling all of my clothes from silk to button downs to suede, all of them perfectly. Never a cracked button or an iron mark. But last week I had four pairs of pants tailored there since I've recently lost a bit of weight. Maybe I was high on being a couple sizes smaller, but they did an amazing job on the tailoring. I couldn't even see where the pants had been altered. The shape of the pants was retained, even when in some cases the pants were taken in several inches. The pants were several different varieties, too, 2 pairs of suit pants with a lining and 2 pairs of more casual pants. All were perfect. I actually wore 2 of the tailored pairs on my first days at my new job. That's a sign of how good the work was and my confidence in the results. And then it hit me.....sometimes you just take for granted when someone does a good job, day in and day out. And with this review, I express my gratitude. Thanks for doing such a good job and being one less place I have to stress out about. read more

Pretty sure they didn't clean my clothes. This place is super expensive, like I've never even considered paying this much for dry cleaning, and yeah, I don't even think anyone is actually cleaning the clothes, merely ironing them. My clothes smell like dirty laundry and I'm kind of really unhappy with the situation and won't be going back, except to maybe see if they'll clean the clothes they were supposed to clean the first time. read more

This place is BS. I brought in a bunch of dress shirts for dry cleaning along with a few dresses of my girlfriends. She took count of my shirts and tossed her dresses on the floor after counting them out as well. While my shirts came out ok, her dresses came back with muiltiple stains on them, that were not there when she brought them in. The cleaner/owner of the store insisted she told me about these stains when i brought them in, NOT the case. She said she could nto get htem out, so my girlfriend left 2 of the 3 there for her to try, but we tossed one of the dresses in our washing machine at home and it was perfect. Either way, the cleaner was rude and is unwilling to do anything about this situation and insists she "taped up the stains" when I dropped the dresses off. Needless to say, last time I go to this place. Oh, they seem to be VERY expensive too.... perfect, crappy service and pricey. Way to go Museaum Parc! read more

My husband and I have been going to Museum Parc Cleaners for over 4 years and have had a great experience with them. We've had dozens of pants altered and a few dresses. The hem is beautiful and service is fast. read more

Only gave this guy one shot - although the cleaning itself was fine, he was very slow and tends to make mistakes...the service here could do with some help. read more

I had a suit jacket arm lengths tailored. I went to 2 other places nearby in SOMA to get a recommendation and quote. The friendly lady opened the place up and took my order while they were closed (Sunday) and advised me against a complex restructuring of the jacket from the shoulder and so we just shortened the sleeve. The alteration was also much cheaper than the other places in SOMA and done very well in just a few days. read more

Unlike Brian S., I've actually had a smashed button. But they're perfectly fine, diligent, and nice, and I recommended them if you're in the neighborhood. And they maintain a good attitude despite the crazies regularly trying to break their windows at night to steal their money (apparently smash and grab extends beyond the usual vehicular targets). read more

I moved to the city a few months ago and this week I needed to get some clothes dry cleaned. I yelped around and called 10 spots that were around my home. The first 9, yes all 9, said if I dropped off 4 items to be dry cleaned on Friday that they will not be ready until Wednesday. Really???? Then I found this spot.... Dropped off at 1pm friday and it was ready 5pm Saturday. BAM!!! Good price too. Thanks. read more

Ruined my silk coat. Do not go here if you want to preserve your items. Incredibly visible discoloration. I'm furious.

They lost my vintage Ellen Tracy dress that I haven't even worn yet. I really don't have anything else to say. I have the belt that is part of the dress so maybe I should just give it to them in case they find it?! Take pics if needed. I was trying to look for my dress (yes I did that) and this customer was not able to get his blue suit! Why? Because they lost his suit!!! Uhhhh?????? I will never go to them again. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. read more

Good service although I would recommend taking high end garments to Peninou. The two ladies who run the store are very nice and they are very helpful. Alterations on site! read more

Perfectly nice owners and the dry cleaning costs were reasonable, but the dry cleaning chemical odor permeating from my clothes is horrific. I've tried to let them air out, but the odor isn't going away. I've never had dry cleaning smell so bad. I won't be back. read more

Dry cleaning is so-so but they do alterations well and at a low cost. I went in with a plastic bridesmaid dress from David's Bridal that fit in the bust but was 2 sizes to big everywhere else. They did a wonderful job! The dress fit perfectly, you couldn't tell it had been altered and the cost was just $20. Love it! read more

I have been going to them for years, primarily for basic laundering and dry cleaning. The service is pretty good and fairly reliable. I had one bad experience where I had to spend a fair amount of time with them where they could not find where my clothes were and I had to come back 3 times. I worked with the woman that works the later shift and she did not apologize until I suggested that she should. I also bring in pants that can be laundered but they always insist that they must be dry cleaned until I show them the label. I don't really like dealing with them, but the service is pretty good read more

They've never lost anything and there haven't been any weird stains. They break their fair share of buttons, but do replace broken ones from time to time. It's hard to beat the price and the lady who runs it is really nice, even though she's hard to understand. read more

This place charged me $40 to dry clean a basic silk dress because they claimed that it was a "fancy styled gown." My dress was very simple and knee length so I'm not sure where they are coming from. I have been charged $10-$15 from other dry cleaners for the same dress. I find their pricing very high and I won't be coming back. read more

Got a jacket "cleaned" here. It came back with dog hair still stuck to it (we babysat a greyhound a few weeks ago), little pieces of frizz and the texture is different. It feels a little like they just threw it in the washer and dryer. Definitely not worth the $7.50. read more
