Upon parking, I saw a sketchy looking woman crawling out of a first-floor window. This window had no screen at all. A man smoked marijuana outside the lobby. The front desk attendant took forever to check me in. The parking lot had a few vagrants hanging around and I felt a bit nervous to leave my work truck there. I tried the side entrance, which was locked. While I pulled on the door a suspicious lady peered at me through her curtains. I embedded a rose thorn in my hand while unloading my luggage. While unloading my luggage, I watched the front desk attendant escort a hooker to the laundry room. At least it looked like a hooker, in a white, skintight dress that barely covered her hips. Upon entering the room, I noticed the floors weren't swept, the trash hadn't been emptied, and the room had a chemical smell. This smell intensified throughout the night and burned my nose. Not sure if they were using meth in the room next to mine? To top everything off, the mattress had a cigarette burn in it and the sheets on both beds were stained and dirty. Luckily, in the morning, my truck hadn't been broken into. I would strongly encourage any traveler to spend a few bucks more and stay elsewhere. Any place else in Silver City would be better than this dive.
