Great park, staff was very friendly. The park is vested in a mountain atmosphere, the suites are private with plenty of room between. Will definitely return.

We first stayed here 7 years ago, when my Father-in-Law died. We rented 2 cabins and an RV spot for our family. The owners and staff were so kind and patient with all of us. Since then, we've rented the cabins twice more. Roomy, dog friendly and really comfy beds. This last time we rented an RV site. The same kind, welcoming staff and a lovely, clean and quiet campground. We truly love it here and will be back for many years to come.

Great park in a Mediocre town; the RV park can't help that the streets roll up at sundown Neighbors were nice and not right out my front door, laundry room and bath house were clean, and front desk employes were always welcoming. Stayed here 2 months as a travelling nurse and would recommend it to anyone!

Very nice park. Units aren't on top of each other. Spots are semi-secluded with ample room. All the amenities and close to everything.

I found this RV spot on yelp of course and though it said "right in the middle of town" we didn't realize it would be so quiet & secluded!!

We visited Silver City KOA last weekend and are still having withdrawals! I am not a huge fan of…read morecamping but was happy to stay in their deluxe cabin, which has an AC unit and was the perfect amount of space for my husband and two small children. There was one full size bed with 1 bunkbed with a bathroom and shower. There was also a fridge, toaster, microwave and a coffee maker. There are 8-9 cabins total and space for RVs to park. The campground felt safe for the kids to run around, which brought my normal anxiety level down. It was nice that the kids were tablet free because there were endless amounts of games and activities to do in their game room such as PacMan, Foosball, and Ping Pong. There is also a playground with an open field to run around, a sandbox and a basketball court. Then there's the gift shop. We almost bought the entire store from all the cool apparel, accessories, souvenirs and gifts that were there. What made the whole experience worth it were the hosts, Josh and Mary. They treated us like we were family and were very hospitable. Although our trip was short, we were able to check out downtown and visit the City of Rocks, which is about a 30 min drive from the campground. Parking is $5 for the day. I would definitely come back to Silver City KOA annually!

Probably the worst KOA we have ever visited. The grounds were basically gravel and stickers and…read morenot well maintained. Basic rules were not enforced. 10pm to 7am quiet time was violated and not enforced nearly every night we were there. From late night arrivals that left their bright lights on all night to the late night arrival that had kids up and loud until after midnight and then the adults stayed awake talking and laughing until well pas 1:00 am. Did not get much sleep those two nights. The icing on the cake was our neighbors Pit Bull. It was tied to one of the patio chairs. When I walked my mini golden doodle past the site, it charged, pulling the chair across about 20 feet of gravel street going straight for my dog. I got between the two and the Pit Bull simply mowed me down(I am 80 years old) and was headed to my dog's throat. Kept the Pit Bull away from my dog but in that effort, my hand was bitten. Finally, my wife got our dog in the trailer and I was left on the ground holding onto the Pit Bull with a bleeding hand. Finally two men from other sites responded to our yell's for help and came down and took control of the Pit and helped me up. Owners were absent, one sleeping and one in the bathroom but finally showed up. Called 911 and sheriff and paramedics showed up. Filed the appropriate reports. When asked for rabies documentation, it was not to be had though they said it was available. Left the next day and finally found out that there would be no rabies vaccine documentation forthcoming. I was back home by then and was directed by my doctor to immediately go to an emergency room and begin the rabies 9 shot two week shot protocol The KOA people, while seemingly nice people, said they had no control over what dogs people brought. All other KOA campsites we visited had dog restrictions, no pit bulls, Dobermans and rottweilers, not this place one. There was no enforcement of the quiet times or limited categories for animals. The did not want to take any accountability or responsibility for what happened other than to say, "I am so sorry". Not sure we will continue to go to KOA campsites. Will certainly make sure they have limitations and enforcement.

They have good sized clean restrooms throughout with flush toilets and showers offer. The campground is in nature. There was reported a bear that was coming through the campground. I didn't get to see it because it was totally dark out but we heard rustling it the forest that surrounded our trailer. The campground sits at an elevation of 9,100 ft. in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona. It is a very scenic area, surrounded with ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, spruce and quaking aspen. We stayed for 4 days and really enjoyed staying here. It is close (they say walking distance but it's a short drive for me) to Big Lake, one of Arizona's top fishing lakes. Big Lake is known for its trout fishing, with rainbow, brown, cutthroat, brook and, even, the critically endangered Apache trout. The recreation area also has great places for hiking, mountain biking, ATV trails, bird watching and wildlife viewing. Amenities include: Dump Station Flush Toilets Showers Water Hookups Picnic Table Grills/Fire Ring Accessibility Accessible Occupant Message Sewer Hookup Full Hookup Electricity Hookup Water Hookup The best thing this campground offers is dark skies and quiet. The trees were hypnotizing. The campground is amazingly clean. I always pick up trash at any area I visit and this is the one place I had to work to find one inch pieces of trash. I highly recommend Apache Trout Campground. It is tough to find days together to reserve because sites get filled fast. Even if you can visit or stay in another campground nearby. It is worth enjoying nature in its best.
