Don't come here - sketchy overprescribers. They want you to schedule an excessive number of appointments with people who call themselves "doctor" without actually having an MD. But what would you expect from chiropractors? Also, don't buy into how they say there'll be no charge above what insurance pays - I got charges two years after my "treatment" on what insurance didn't cover, and they don't respond to requests for information about the charges. That's on me for not being smart on making sure I wouldn't be responsible beyond insurance, so let this be a warning to you all. read more

I have been going here for years and they are awesome! Very professional, little waiting and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. I have seen Dr. Tress for years, and been to all the Doctors at various times for different ailments. I can't recommend them highly enough! Dr. Tress has saved me many times when my back has gone out and I would have otherwise been flat on the couch for a week. He's extremely knowledgable, great at what he does and entertaining to boot! This is the best medical office that I've been to in the city hands down. It's conveniently located near Grand Central. I've been going there for several years, and I've had various treatments including acupuncture, physical therapy, chiropractic, podiatry and orthopedic. All the staff here are friendly and professional. My neck and back are stiff since I've been sitting in front of the computer at work most of the day. I've been seeing Dr. Chen for chiropractic and Ted for physical therapy. They are both gentle and patient. Ted recently left and moved to the west coast, and his replacement is also good. Also, the appointment schedule is flexible. They are open until 8pm. I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants to get chiropractic and/or physical therapy treatment. read more

This is the first Chiropractor that I've been to so I may be somewhat biased, but it is certainly far beyond my expectations. This is also my first Yelp review. Been going here three times a week (for chiro + physical therapy each time) for a month, so here goes. Treatment - I feel great. I came in with some lower back pain that's been bothering me for years, and a raised shoulder (a wing). After a few visits the shoulder already is close to being even with the other shoulder, and I'm standing taller and straighter with less pain. My friend who referred me feels better than ever, a friend I recently referred is already seeings results as well. Service - I feel respected and cared for. They have a philosophy of wanting to make you better; the doctors shared their personal experiences with chronic pain and serious injury and how chiropractic care helped them and motivated them to change careers. This place is a little bit like a family, they all know your name, they joke with you, and everyone is full of smiles. The other patients are respectful and keep to themselves. There are plenty of magazines. Wait times - When it's not rush hour, there is no wait. Even during rush hour (noon and after work), they are efficient and very good at managing the rooms to minimize wait times, alternating between PT and Chiro, etc. The sizable waiting room doesn't get more than half full at the max. And they're accommodating if you want to see someone else to save time if it's not who you normally see. Environment - Not as swanky compared to some midtown Manhattan healthcare spots, but clean and professional. There is a sweet smell from the freshener in the men's restroom, perhaps it could be a little less strong, other than that all is good. A nice water cooler with cups that never run out. Cleanliness - They use fresh sheets, clean towels, etc. All seems clean as expected. Basically a one-stop shop for chiro, physical therapy, podiatry, and acupuncture (not sure if I'm missing anything). The staff and doctors are all excellent and nice. I personally see Dr. Tress, who's great, but I've also had Dr. Chen and he's great as well. For PT, I see Dipthy (sp?) usually but I've also had Chan, both are excellent. The Podiatrist, Dr. Sergi, knows what he's doing and is good too. If they ask, tell them you read about them via Alex Xin's review on Yelp. They'll love that. read more

I've been coming to this clinic for about 6 years. Couldn't be any happier. Friendly staff and very clean. I usually don't have to wait more than 5 mins to be seen. I've been able to schedule appointments for next day with no hassle. The clinic has the best physical therapist and Chiropractors Among other services offered. Chiropractors are knowledgeable and have good bedside manners. I always feel better when I leave. I have been going to the Murray Hill Chiropractic Facility for almost 10 years and they are a God sent. My first year I went for some back issues- Solved! 4 years ago I limped there for worn cartilage and should have gotten surgery, but Dr. Dinoff saved me. After 6 months of intense PT and some meds I can run like never before. Last summer once again I limped in with a fractured foot and Dr. Sergi with a host of therapist worked magic and I was made whole again in 8 weeks. Time and time again I have come to them with an issue and they have solved it! My insurance fully covers the expenses and the copay's are waived. I don't know where I would be without this place but so glad 10 yrs ago I went to a job health fair a met a wonderful chiropractor. Tress, Stein, and all of the PT staff are amazing! My main goal is to get back to my regular routine at the gym. After missing some weeks at the gym, stubborn me finally went to go seek some help. Great office, staff are friendly and very accommodating (because life happens and meetings run late). I came in because I was having lower back pain, I called in and got a appointment the next day. I was quickly seen by Steve who immediately started assessing the cause of my pain. After some manual manipulation to my back there was finally some relief. Steve mentioned that some physical therapy would speed up my recovery and there is where I saw Dillon who continued my treatment with some massage therapy to loosen up my lower back. Its no magic bullet but immediately after the first visit a good part of the pain started to lessen and go away. After 2 weeks a treatment all of the pain is gone My only regret was not going earlier. read more

I have been a patient at Murray Hill Chiropractic for almost 8 years. I first met the team while attending a local health fair organized by HR at my job. As a performer, I have required a great deal of care over the last 8 years and I have been very well taken care of by many of the multiple providers offered at Murray Hill. I've seen every Chiropractor in their office (some prefer to stick with one doctor, I like seeing different ones). The PT team has kept me from falling apart after more than one injury and Dr. He's Acupuncture group are like magicians, having helped me with everything ranging from pain management to allergies. If you're a busy New Yorker, this is one stop shopping at its best. I have never had a problem with billing. I know that some insurance companies (like mine) send checks directly to the patient and I just bring them in and turn them into the ladies at the front desk. It's very easy. My insurance is required to send you an Explanation of Benefits, which can look an awful lot like a bill. I called the office and the front desk explained to me what it was and assured me I had nothing to worry about, and I didn't. I can't recommend Murray Hill Chiropractic enough to people! A business, not a care facility. As a former athlete, I have been to quite of few chiropractors over the years, many of which have helped me greatly with pain reduction and rehabilitation. This place is NOT one of them. You will go with a complaint, which they will treat all the same. They will explain that it is SI (sacral iliac) joint instability and place 'ESTEM' (electrical stimulation) on your back, which has proven to be nothing but placebo. However, this therapy provides a 'wonderful' reimbursement for the clinic. Yes, you insurance will likely cover the costs, but this is no more than a glorified massage. I felt my problem was never directly addressed. Talking about my pain, directly addressing my complaint, and developing a care plan was superseded by 'small talk' in hopes of attracting me back for another rather 'useless' treatment. Finally, I went to a sports medicine and rehab physician. My cause to my problem has been identified, care plan has been established with expectations, and I am starting to find relief. If you are looking for a good chiropractor, I will advise to look elsewhere. read more

This practice is reliably terrific. Every therapist who has treated me has been excellent--professional, knowledgable, reassuring. Dr. Tress runs a tight and well-functioning ship overall, and each group that I've seen (chiro and pt, as they say) has been great. You get better--and they tell you that you need fewer services as you do, tapering off to maintenance or none--cured! The facility is lovely, very clean and nicely laid out. Words cannot express what the incredible staff and practitioners have meant to my recovery. An old injury had really done a number on my body alignment -- hips displaced... imbalanced shoulders... and spine looking like one of those milkweed plants with a bend at the top. I have always had very positive experiences getting treated here. They are very flexible with scheduling, the front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and all the doctors are attentive and take their time to discuss what's going on and to develop a care plan going forward. I've been treated by the chiropractors (for back pain/tension and poor posture), physical therapists (for plantar fasciitis), and acupuncturists (for TMJ) and I have found it all to be very effective and helpful. They're also great about assigning stretching and exercises to do at home; their goal is to make you healthier and to get your body back to working as efficiently as possible, not to try to keep you coming back for the rest of your life. That being said, they do have a great community and welcoming sense of camaraderie in the office that makes people want to come back! read more
