I came across Traditional Chinese Medicine when I was researching for a solution to help me heal…read moremy TSW/eczema problem. I found a few places that offered TCM in NYC. I felt confident about choosing Eyetells Herbal Solution because the practice has been passed down from father to son, and on their website it tells you how the doctor will assess you. I called to book an appointment and explained my problem to the doctor on what I was currently going through. On my first visit, I came in inflamed and not feeling well. Dr. Zhi asked me a couple of question, took a look at my skin, checked my pulse, eyes, and tongue. He writes down the information based off his assessment to keep track of your progress. Shortly afterwards he creates a herbal/roots recipe designed to you for X amount of day and explains how to brew a tea from it. My first week of drinking the tea I made progress. I finished my first batch. I returned for the second time, he reassess like the first visit, and gave me the same recipe but for 2 weeks. The second batch of tea helped me make tremendous improvement with my skin. Fast forward to my 5th visit which was 2 days before this review and my skin is starting to look healthy again and slowly returning to normal. Aside from my own changes in lifestyle, visiting Dr. Zhi and drinking the tea was the boost and aid I needed for the recovery process. Mind you, I am not done with my 5th batch of tea, my recuperation is still work in progress. I can confidently say slowly but surely that I will fully heal. Do not rush the process nor expect miracle works. I have been taking pharmaceutical topical and oral steroids for quite some time (this is what caused my eczema to get worse and how I ended up with TSW) and I no longer use or need them due to me making changes alongside drinking this herbal concoction. Best of luck to you, and I hope this review was insightful.

I have a slew of different symptoms that my drs have all blamed on stress since my bloodwork comes back relatively normal. None of these drs have been able to help me with my symptoms. Having received acupuncture before and it being helpful I decided to try my luck with TCM. What drew me to Eyetells was the additional diagnostic map of the eye. In addition to looking at your tongue and listening to your pulse and in my case a very long list of symptoms, pictures of the eye are also taken and read. After looking at my eye Zhicheng started asking about symptoms I hadn't even thought to mention, it was truly amazing. Zhicheng identified my systems that needed help and explained how they paired with my symptoms, then told me he knew exactly how to treat me to get me feeling better. It was SO COOL watching him craft my tea blend. Jars and jars of roots and herbs line the shelves and he just plucked ones down and measured and made me a 9 day supply. As the other reviews mention and Zhicheng did warn me too...the taste is quite strong. When making the tea it actually smells sweet and earthy, but it looks like pond water and will definitely give you an appreciation for black coffee, because this is about 20x more bitter and potent. I just finished my first six days of the tea and I usually have stomach issues with almost everything I eat, or at the very least bloating at the end of the day. I had ONE day where in the morning my stomach was kind of eh but other than that I felt like a normal person. I went back today to get my second round and we made some adjustments to the ingredients based on my feedback. I'm truly excited to seem to have found something that is helping my system. If you've lost hope or are just tired of being blown off by western medicine I highly suggest you give Eyetells a shot.

And he has turned most of them around. He is the only practitioner in the U.S. and within his specialty who can do energy transfer, utilize herbs, use massage (tui na) and acupuncture to balance the body forces so that the body can finally heal. He handles difficult cases like certain forms of cancers and heart and kidney problems (when they are almost failing). You would do yourself a significant service if you would avail yourself of this Doctor's understanding and skills to move you quickly down the road to health. The MDs were at a loss. Pure luck introduced Dad to Frank Huo, who was at Columbia University School of Medicine, and his cohort at MIT. They were doing a seminar on Quan Ji and it was free except $25.00 for each participant to pay for the meeting room. I believe the course/seminar lasted seven days. They provided literature and a cassette with pronunciations of a song/chant that they would sing and meditate to. I attended the first several days of the course with my dad but had to return to work. He was debilitated he couldn't dance or do some of the movements but participated in the song. The doctor brought an herbal tea and my day was instructed to drink it at home as well as i. class. Frank and his partner laid hands on each person each day and by the end of the week my dad, who was a positive person anyway, was very optimistic. On his next Oncology appointment, his tumors looked smaller and the cancer had ceased to spread. On his six months visit his tumors had shrunk. In 8 or ten months he was clean of cancer and stayed that way for 5 plus years. I wish he lived in Arizona where I live now.

OMG this place is the best the best the best. I found them on google and am so happy to be writing…read morethem a review because they totally deserve it. The place is a little off th beaten path, but everyone that works there is so very very nice and kind. I went in there for what I thought was a hyperthyroid condition, and it turns out just to be a lot of stress. The acupuncturist was very patient with me in the consultation (only $20) and the acupuncture treatment was very thorough (though not necssarily relaxing after all there are needles going into your body). He also did this other things on my spine which involved activating my vertebrae/loosening them up. I also received a tui na massage which was very very helpful. The doctor went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and to recommend me other additional ways to help change what I was experiencing (yoga and tai qi/qi gong) as well as other thoughtful advice. I highly recommend!

When I became pregnant, my mom (who is not local) started researching postpartum delivery services…read more She was going to come help with my baby for a few weeks but not the full month, so thought it'd be good to try the service. We sampled a couple other spots and went with Chen Mommy. It's walkable from Murray Hill LIRR station if you want to go and sample them and don't have a car. They did seem to be the best option in the NYC area given that they are inspected by health bureau and had the best balance of taste and Taiwanese style home cooking. We chose 21 days because it was flexible enough to spread out over the full month. The portions are huge even at the tasting, so it was likely that my husband and I were not going to finish each delivery in one day. We pre booked in advance for my Oct 2024 due date. The prices did go up in May 2024 so we booked in advance of that. It was easy to contact them to start right after I came home from the hospital. After finishing the full 21 days, I can agree with other reviewers that the dishes can feel repetitive over time. There's good variety if you look at just a 1 week window, but after awhile it is the same. The meat quality is generally not the best, but I think my husband and I concluded the vegetable variety is the best thing from this service. I also generally liked all the desserts. The one problem with this service is that it is banchan style and there are so many plastic containers used. We wish they just put everything into a bento box style so that there isn't so much plastic container waste. They cook with very little oil and salt for a good reason, but I began feeling more recovered after about 1.5weeks and we started adding salt for additional flavor, especially to the soups. We requested a couple days skipped here and there, and also requested for one less soup dish (and double up on other dishes) since it was difficult to finish those. They would send two extras of vegetable or meat dishes which was nice. The 麻油雞 which is an everyday item in the 3rd week wasn't very good, so I ended up asking to switch back to the kidney (which is an everyday item in the 2nd week). In terms of delivery timing, we were told our delivery window would typically be around 9-10am, but it was really inconsistent throughout the 21 days. Sometimes the food would not be delivered until noon. This generally was not a big deal since we would usually need to finish leftovers from prior days, but it can be a bit annoying if you expected to prepare the breakfast or lunch food at a certain time. In total we had 4 different drivers deliver, who would either call or text when the food is delivered (my doorman building only allows food delivery to be dropped off at the lobby). Overall I think the service is worthwhile especially since cooking or deciding what food to order (even if NYC has a ton of food options) is just an additional task to worry about in that first month postpartum, so it is reducing decision making. For my second child I would probably only do it for 7days though. FYI I only formula fed.

It's a bit pricey but it gives you Chinese comfort food for post partum when your mom isn't around to do some cooking. It's just like how my mom used to cook. Lots of collagen rich soups and veggies with rice porridge. The meals are enough for more than one person. They also give you dessert and a drink for the day. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is focusing on their newborn and doesn't want to deal with cooking for the day or ordering food. Food was tasty and healthy not sweet nor salty you can add more if you prefer more yourself.
