I explained what was wrong with my hand. They listened to me. I pulled up both pant legs and one shirt sleeve. Then he proceeded to put the needles in me. I actually thought it would hurt. But I really felt next to nothing. I sat with the needles in me for about an hour and a half. During this process, I experienced something I never expected. I felt so relaxed. My breathing was relaxed and there was so much less pain in my trigger finger. Then he tells me to flex my finger. I was so afraid. But I did it and I could flex my trigger finger. This alone took me by surprise. The swelling went down and I left Worlo in such a fantastic BODY mood if that makes any sense. They are very economical and are very busy. She would go to Dr. Cho once in a while, and she would literally be walking out as if nothing ever happened. I can't say I don't envy that because my body type just requires more visits (a lot more). I never thought I would also wake up with a (very) stiff neck.. It was so bad that it was impossible for me to do just simple tasks. Both my shoulders were pulled together towards the center, and the pain just sucked. My sister highly recommended this place, and I had a total of 10 visits, twice a week. If you're hesitating about Eastern/Oriental/Traditional Chinese Medicine, here's my feedback: 1. Go when the pain first rouses 2. I deal with neck pain that would sometimes force out of bed at 3am and I would have to sleep sitting up to make the pain go away. Ever since I started coming to this facility, I have not had that problem any more. I am currently still rehabilitating my neck but the progress has been excellent! I can sleep until it's time to go to work. That's something I won't take for granted anymore. The staff are brilliant and fantastic! Rose and Ziba work at the front desk and are sincere, sweet and extremely helpful. They make sure you're informed of everything you need to know and are on top of your appointments. Rose also steps in to help you with exercises when needed. Very knowledgeable and reliable. Venki, is the PT. He does an excellent job communicating in the sense of seeing where you are. He'll always ask if you feel okay from stretches to make sure there is no discomfort. I really like that we have conversations on the possible triggers of the neck pain and always proposes solutions. Dr. Andrew, provides the chiropractic care of the therapy. Filled with personality. Makes you laugh while giving me major insight into my injury.
