I must come back here for all the Filipino options! Was driving towards the tunnel and needed to grab a coffee on the way and the service and coffee was great :) nice big store!

This generically named restaurant with the most generic facade in the neighborhood is actually an excellent little outpost for Filipino coffees and rice dishes in Murray Hill. On one of the hottest days of the year, the right choice of order was the halo halo, arguably the national dish of the Philippines and one of my preferred options for consuming shaved ice. The version here was served with small bites of flan on top, ube ice cream, and a small amount of red bean mixed in. Next time I will try the vegetarian main option, a tofu sisig over rice.

This place feels like one of the best kept secrets of Murray Hill, where I often struggle to find affordable casual meals. It's a great grab-and-go spot but also has tables inside and outside. Ordering was very easy online but they also have a kiosk at the store. I got the lumpia and beef tapa silog. The lumpia were so crispy and flavorful, the beef was simple but yummy and came with rice and a fried egg. My favorite part of the meal though was the iced ube coconut latte, not too sweet but the ube flavor really came through, so refreshing and decadent!! One of my favorite lattes ever. I'll be back for that and to try another one of the bowls!

Murray Cafe is the coziest little spot to warm up in Murray Hill. They've got all your classic café go-tos plus the ultimate Asian comfort food lineup -- crispy spring rolls, karaage chicken, ramen, and tapsilog I stopped in for an ube latte (10/10 ) and ended up ordering all my comfort faves. It's quick, super clean, with plenty of tables if you want to dine in -- but just as perfect for a grab-and-go moment. My only feedback was my ramen reallly was packed with noodles but had very limited broth.

    - Great Filipino spot on Lex between 30th and 31st--easy to find and worth a visit - A few tiny outdoor tables if you want to dine al fresco on a tight street; inside is modern, bright, and clean, with well-spaced small tables that make it feel comfortable; pleasantly quiet on a Monday lunch - Online ordering through DD was smooth and convenient - Staff were warm and welcoming; I was quickly guided to the pickup counter where my order was already packed and ready; everything was securely packaged for takeout - At first glance, ~$20 for a tocino silog (fried cured pork with fried egg, plus $1.50 for garlic fried rice) felt a bit steep, but the portion was massive--generous meat (nice balance of lean and fatty) and a hefty serving of rice; I could've (and really should've) split the order into two meals - The food was still piping hot after about 15 minutes; tocino was sweet, tender, and flavorful; egg was slightly overcooked but still had some yolk softness; garlic rice was satisfying; a side of vinegar would've balanced the sweetness and cut through the fat nicely--not included, but I'll be sure to ask next time!

This new cafe spot is a hidden gem with tons of food and drink options! They have plenty of seating and wifi if you are looking for a coffee shop to work or hang out at. I ordered a vanilla late with skim milk which was very enjoyable! Definitely give this place a try!

Lunch foods were actually really good! I loved all three items that we got. Serving size was hefty for sure. And it really hit the spot. I really hope this spot can last or I would need to trek so far for this great Filipino food. Pastas are not filipino style the cashier mentioned.

Checked out this new cafe in Murray hill but was a bit disappointed. Didn't try any of the drinks but came to try some of the rice bowls. For the price point it was a very small portion size and to be honest the meat was overcooked in both orders. Sadly the chicken and beef were both dry and burnt.

Crispy pork belly cooked to perfection. The only pork I eat and give into, and they cook it right! The ube latte is made not too sweet and still keeps it ube flavor. The spam fries is an interestingly yummy take. I ordered online however when I came in, they didn't know an order online was made so I waited a little bit longer. Other than that service was good and food even better.

Wanted to try this cute cafe. Got their ube latte, I asked them to make it decaf because it was in the afternoon and they were able to easily accommodate that. They have some treats too but I'll have to come back to try those.

A Filipino-owned cafe in the middle of Murray Hill! Cozy ambiance and chill vibes. Very clean and the good lighting. The menu is a mix of bakery/cafe Filipino vibes. They serve coffee, boba drinks, pastries and even Filipino food like beef tapa, chicken karaage, and pork lechon kawali... and more. Loved their iced ube latte with oat milk! The staff is also friendly!

    Pork tocino delicious!!!

We enjoyed the rice bowls and ube frappe! The beef tapa and pork tocino were yummy! We have to come back and try the other drinks and the other rice bowls.

We got to have our dinner in the dining room which was so much nicer and peaceful than the bar area, which I also wouldn't have minded but it was too noisy for a relaxed evening. Service was wonderful and very accommodating! I also loved all the monkey decor, it really tickled me every time we spotted a different monkey haha. We started with the truffle monkey bread! It was so good! For my entree, I got the miso cod, buttery mashed potatoes and a coconut margarita which were all amazing! We even got a complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was a salted caramel ice cream with a candle! We also ordered a banana split for fun and we loved it. I would definitely come back even in the bar dining area because I want to try everyone else's food recommendations! 10/10!

For mains we shared the cheeseburger, steak frites and prime rib French dip. All three dishes were great and all the meat was cooked perfectly medium rare for us. Finally for dessert we had the chocolate pie which we all loved. It was the perfect way to end the meal. If you're able to get a res here I think it's well hyped!

I thought I'd be hungry enough for a side, but it actually made for a satisfying standalone meal, especially with the greens on top. We were sat across from the bar and it was impossible to hear each other across from the table. And the seating in the back was completely open but they still were sitting everyone amongst the large crowd near the bar. We did wait about 15 min for the waiter to come back to take our order. The food did come out fast though. When we ordered dessert two desserts came out right away and were served but mine took about 10 min so the other desserts were already finished before I even got mine. It sat on the bar the whole 10 min ready for the server to bring it over. All in all I would go back not for a nice dinner but with a group that was going out for drinks. I would reorder the shrimp tacos again but would not get the sorbet again.

But to my surprise, the host was able to seat me at their community table within just a couple of minutes. What a relief! Now, onto the important part -- the food. I started with a ginger lime soda, which was refreshing and the perfect way to kick things off. For my appetizer, I went with the whipped ricotta, and wow, it was creamy, light, and absolutely divine. For my main course, I ordered the chicken parmesan with homemade vodka sauce-doused pasta, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the sauce was flavorful, and the homemade pasta elevated the whole dish to another level. Everything was absolutely fabulous. The whole time I was eating, I kept watching the waiters bring out dish after dish from the kitchen, and honestly, everything looked incredible. I was kicking myself for coming solo -- I wish I had been there with a group so we could have ordered more and shared! This is definitely a place you want to come to with friends so you can try a little bit of everything. I also have to shout out the service -- it was fast and attentive without ever being pushy. My server checked in at all the right moments and never made me feel rushed. It's that perfect balance where you feel well taken care of but can still enjoy your meal at your own pace. The ambiance is really fun and cool without being pretentious or overly trendy. I never felt out of place, which I really appreciated. It's the kind of spot where you can dress up or keep it casual and still feel right at home. One small note -- the lighting is on the darker side, so if you're someone who is sensitive to dim lighting, just be aware of that. Personally, I thought it added to the vibe. And can we talk about the prices? For New York City, this place is surprisingly reasonable, especially for Midtown. You're getting high-quality, delicious Italian food without the sticker shock that so many NYC restaurants come with. Bottom line: La Pecora Bianca is delicious, welcoming, and well-priced. I will absolutely be back -- and next time, I'm bringing friends.

We arrived at 5:30pm on a weekday for our reservation and to my surprise, almost every table was taken! They have a few locations throughout the city but the menus are more or less the same. I started with a Hugo Spritz which was light & refreshing but not the best I've had. We shared a Margherita Neopolitan Style Pizza which had a super thin & tender crust, fresh tomatoes and basil, and delicious cheese. Pretty solid start! The Whipped Ricotta was somehow better and I absolutely loved the creaminess of the ricotta along with the truffle honey. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts were charred beautifully and was a nice vegetable to have on the table. Even the Zucchini Fries were so well-made! They could be "prettier" but the flavor and crunch is definitely there. The rigatoni was so fantastic but the chicken parm itself could have been crispier and more seasoned. We ended with the Tiramisu for Two which is easily feeds 4 people. This is an absolute must to end the meal! I can see why this spot is so popular and glad I finally got to pop my LPB cherry!
