Professionalism: From start to finish, Remodel Works handled our project with professionalism, organization, and clear communication. Kate walked us through every step of the design process, provided excellent suggestions, and showed tremendous patience as we worked through the many decisions involved in selecting materials. Her expertise and guidance made the design process both enjoyable and manageable. Daniel was equally outstanding. He clearly communicated the timing and details of the renovation, was frequently on site to oversee important decisions and address issues, and was always easy to reach when questions arose. Most importantly, he continued to follow up with us even after the project was completed to make sure that a few minor revisions were taken care of. That level of follow-through really stood out to us. Everyone who worked on our project was professional, courteous, and pleasant to interact with. We would often stop by to check on the progress, and we were always greeted warmly and given a quick update on what was being worked on that day. Organization: Remodel Works was extremely organized throughout the entire project. The process began with detailed renderings that allowed us to visualize what our spaces would look like. As we selected materials, we received highly realistic renderings that gave us confidence in our choices and helped us see how everything would come together. Before construction began, we received a comprehensive project package that included CAD drawings and detailed catalogs of all the materials we had selected. Daniel also spent several hours walking through the entire renovation with us before work began to make sure everyone was aligned on the plan and details. The initial design was good, but together we landed on something even better because they actually listened and engaged. Never once felt like we were being told what to do. Timeline and contractor coordination? On point. There was a moment where a trade was running behind and we raised it -- they took the feedback well and kept things moving. There was also a moment where we pushed back on the slab count and rather than brushing us off, they looped in the right people to work it through with us. That's just good business. What really stands out though is the design thoughtfulness. They respected our very specific taste while also gently steering us toward choices we'd love long-term. David H of Left Coast Tile did the work - both the demo of the old tile and install of the new tile. Not an easy installation, several arcs and a circle to tile requiring great precision. A lot of cuts that required patience and skill to complete. He did the job and delivered a great final product for a reasonable price. I got his name and recommendation from Arizona Tile in Mira Mesa, so I knew he had to be top notch. I am adding pics of the job to give you an idea of his work. Pictures can't tell you how difficult the demo of the old slate tile that was over 40 years old and in poor condition. It took 4 men 2 days to get it all up. Way more than anyone would have imagined. Came out in 2 inch bits! No whole tiles at all came up at all. Hard work. I recommend Dave highly!

Dave communicated with me every step of the way so I knew what was happening. He did an excellent job on the bathroom remodel, installing new tile for the shower and wainscoting for the walls. He installed a new bathroom vanity to replace an very clunky old wall sink and replaced the old vanity mirror with a nicer mirror that I purchased. He even took care of returning the excess unused tile to the tile shop so I could get a refund for the tile I didn't need. Very happy with his work and I would highly recommend him to others.

Lucy in the office kept us looped in on scheduling and payments so nothing ever caught us off guard. Construction stuff still came up, of course. A plumbing issue behind a wall, a backordered window. But every time, it was a conversation and a fix, not a fight over who was paying. Isaac wasn't the cheapest of the three bids we got. Harry and crew were very honest about the timeline for completion, who was doing what when, etc. They finished at exactly their quoted 3 week target date. -If there were any issues as mentioned in the cons section, they were immediately rectified and without argument. -They're cost effective and will do add-on projects for a reasonable price. Cons: -Some of the crew working on the project were a little less experienced than others. In my instance, the grout for one bathroom was inconsistent in color, so they had to spend a half day to redo it. You can tell they have other projects planned throughout the week, so they don't spend all their time focused on your house. If they did, they could probably shave more time off the project to be done faster.
