Nutshelled: I cannot possibly recommend these guys highly enough. I was in a tricky situation, and needed what turned out to be 350 double-sided business cards on the same day as the order. Nick was incredibly helpful and walked me through the quote process, while Ray and his team worked hard to ensure that things were done quickly and smoothly. The final product was perfect, and given the circumstances involved, I couldn't be happier with the work they did. If you need high-quality printing done right, call these guys. They know what they're doing, and I'll ABSOLUTELY go back for any printing needs I have in the future. read more

Our nonprofit organization has been contracting with Murphy Printing for a few years. My colleagues encouraged me to try them on for size and I was more than pleasantly surprised. Interacting with Alfonso from the start was terrific; from discussion of what my needs were, through the submission process, and getting excellent results with a fast turnaround. Pricing for my project was very competitive and worth the finished product. Communication is key. My conversations and follow-up with Alfonso and Larry were very professional. We will be using Murphy Printing for the foreseeable future. read more

Larry and his team at Murphy Printing are fantastic! They are 100% reliable and were able to help me print two items that I needed quickly for my wedding. They were able to print reserved seating tags and also a custom wedding newspaper I made off of Etsy. I really appreciated how quickly they responded to my requests and how prompt they were in their turnaround time. They also offered UPS shipping so that I wouldn't have to worry about picking up my orders. The quality of the items they provided were excellent and they are really reliable! I would 100% order from them again! read more

Terrible! the guy on the phone today 9/21/22 was absolute rude! We have 5 businesses in SOMA, your neighbor! and we support local business but not this one. It take one unhappy to ruin this 100 years old business with amazing review. read more

I work in marketing and frequently need brochures and simple collateral printed. After trying several different print shops that either produced poor work or were way too expensive, I gave Murphy Printing a try - and it has been my go-to ever since. The shop does a fantastic job and is very reasonably priced, compared to most other vendors in the city. Furthermore, they have a pretty quick turnaround time and don't charge outrageous rush fees for something that needs to be done in a couple of days - they also send over proofs and work with you to make sure the product is to your liking. I did have to knock off a star because their communication is terrible. After sending e-mails and files to Larry, I often don't hear anything back from him and will have to call and follow up to ensure that he received the order and it will be done in time. Poor customer service is a huge turn-off and I would give them 3 1/2 stars if I could. If the product and pricing weren't so good, I would have just given them 3. read more

Get your printing done here--all the five star reviews are accurate :) I had to get a few cards done last minute (aka the SAME day) which is a really tall order to make. I called Larry, and he gave me a quote immediately over the phone. He was extremely patient and responsive over both phone and email. I sent him the files over email and he had them prepped right away, having them ready within just a couple hours of my initial call(wow). I would give Murphy Printing 2439529384572349523 million stars if I could. read more

I literally cannot say enough great things about working with Larry at Murphy Printing! We are constantly ordering a variety of printed materials and Larry is my go to guy. He works tirelessly to make sure we're always 100% happy with the design and manages to always keep it within our budget. They've recently done some upgrades to their website so now you can actually customize templates and place orders online, sooooo easy! Everything from postcards, notepads, invitations, flyers, etc. Larry is so easy to work with and always happy to answer additional questions, plus he's very quick to respond which of course helps when we're in a hurry to get something printed before a deadline. We recommend Murphy printing to every small business out there looking for quality products & 5 star customer service. read more

I recently used Murphy Printing for a rush job on some company sales collateral - brochures, product sheets, presentation folders, etc. I was so pleased with their work. They turned around the in-house printing of brochures and product sheets in 1 day, and the folders in 3 days and hand delivered them to me. Larry and Jeff were very responsive and easy to work with. And the quality was superb. I highly recommend them. read more

Murphy Printing saved the day! I needed to print the Save-the-Dates for my wedding and was looking for a high quality print shop that had thick/heavy paper. They promptly responded to my request for an estimate and were nice enough to print them the same day. They printed a proof for me so I could check the color/margins (which turned out perfect) and then were able to print the rest while I waited. Thanks so much again, they turned out amazing! read more

Great print shop in SOMA. Always been satisfied with the quality of product and the price. I came here for a last-minute print job for my wedding invitations... I had my invitations printed elsewhere but they were cut a little off-centered and it drove me nuts. I just received my latest order of envelopes and stationary from Murphy Printing and again, they exceeding my expectations. This is probably the 5th or 6th time I've reordered over the past 6 years (some due to address changes) and each time they've done a great job. This last order was a rush order and I dealt directly with the owner, Larry. Great guy, great service, great value.
