The shishito peppers were so sweet and tangy in the bacon jelly and cheese and oozed with goodness! The steak and chicken were such a great combo to share between my husband and I with both being such different profiles of taste and actually complimented one another. The steak itself was absolutely perfect and the bread under soaked up all those juices so you didn't have to lick the plate after (great ingenuity when dining out :)) The desserts were fantastic but the star of the show was def the raspberry blondie. It was everything I imagined and more. The perfect sweet and tart mixed in a bowl with spoons ... thank you for not plating this - I felt like I was at home about to sit on the couch and indulge in something I created. An employee asked if I needed help finding anything, which I appreciated. The prices are a little higher here than at HD/Lowes for equivalent things (the brackets I bought here were just under $5 vs $2 and change at the other places), but it's convenient and I like that it feels more personable. For the odd project and hardware need, I don't mind paying a bit more for convenience. But if I needed more than 3 sets of brackets, I would've taken the time to head across town to save the extra cash. Sadly their popcorn machine wasn't in use while I was there, though.

The group of women that have run that place for years, or replacements cut from the same cloth, have always been rude, nasty, almost hostile........ALWAYS, and for NO reason. Today, as before on many occasions, i made a simple $15 purchase. In, out, no issue. Yet the simple act of checking out was i again forced to be insulted and lectured simply because the old gas bag didn't listen to my words, didn't do it right, and had to do it all over again which she didn't like.......and yes, she let me know.
