I also asked for them to install a simple hair catcher to be installed because I did not have the proper tooling. WHAT??? Now it will be $$ to fix something that I didn't authorize to be put there in the first place. I called the company, the guy said he couldn't understand how hair could get through those holes. Really! Said it would be easy to remove that piece until he saw the picture of his own work. He said it might damage the bathtub to remove it. Ok, so why did you put it in...??? Do you know what a hair catcher is? I did not authorize this. Oh and I'm so stupid for trusting you and not watching you like a hawk while you worked. Again, my mistake. I'm the one that's stupid. Not what I asked for and they refuse to fix it without charge. Fred picked up two different pieces for me (at 2 different times) and I just got back the first piece and it looks AMAZING! He had us come in and choose our stain, one of his employees helped us choose and tested it out on the piece to make sure we liked it. Plus he explained the different types of finishes they could put on it and showed us examples. His warehouse is full of pieces they're re-doing and I can see why so many people use Fred's. Fred called me to let me know that the wood on the second piece he's refinishing is a completely different wood so the stain will not look the same. He just wanted to make me aware of it and show me the work in progress to make sure I liked it. I appreciate the honesty and the heads up.
