we just had our tub refinished and it looks pretty amazing. Fast prompt replies upon requesting information. Arrived when stated and was very professional from start to finish. read more

We live in an old building. We just moved in June so we are new here. When our tub started peeling they were the only place who didn't make us remove our sliding glass doors on our tub. We asked for a no slip surface. We are very happy with the outcome! The job took a few hours and we couldn't use the bathtub for a couple days. So the finishing does stink for a day or so but it's not "toxic" fumes. We thought it was worth the cost. Better than replacing the whole tub. Definitely recommend. read more

My wife has lung issues that absolutely preclude spraying anything in the house...I forget the technician's name but his work was really fabulous in all respects, and a month later it still looks terrific and there was barely any chemical odor with the process. We're picky of necessity and heartily recommend them. read more

They did a good job. There were some air bubbles that they came back and got rid of. overall a good value.

This company did an amazing job refinishing our old tubs. They look brand new. The technicians were professional and didn't leave a mess the job took 3-4 hrs so be sure to plan for the day. read more

They did a fabulous job!! The tub was beaten down but after the refinish it looks like a new tub.

YAY! My once-janky tub with cracked and peeling corners and a finish that not even an army of scrubbing bubbles could clean is now pristine again. Look at this! The whole process took about 3.5 hours, then you can't use it for 24+ hours while it dries to a perfect finish. If you have caulk to replace, you can do that once it's dry. I did that myself in about 20 minutes, including pulling off the old caulk. Otherwise, you don't have to do anything to prep for their visit. Just present your nasty tub and let them refinish it to perfection. Price was very affordable for the amount of work included. I'll be happy to list my home for sale with this tub. read more

Bathtub glazing Very good. Technician was great. And great for the price Very happy with the result read more

This company is top-notch. They did an outstanding job from start to finish from the initial booking, receiving a confirmation email with details to the men arriving on time, and doing a stellar job in a few hours with the glazing. It's odorless, quiet and my tub looks like new! I also love the color because it's more of a cream which matches my bathroom perfectly. I was also able to pay a little extra for them to caulk my tub a few days later, and again, they were on time and in and out in less than 15 minutes. And hey give a 5-year warranty! Highly recommend!!! read more

Odorless Bathtub Refinishing - Great job looks brand new - Refinishing Services Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

First and foremost, my tub looks like new. I mean, could not look more perfect. The whole process took about three hours, maybe less. However, you should know that this is NOT "odorless." I suspect that the old tub refinishing process was over-powering in its chemical smells - to the point where many buildings prohibited it or had to warn other residents. So this is most likely a huge improvement over that. But there is definitely a smell throughout the process. It's not horrible but I was worried that someone in my building would complain (happily they did not). Fortunately all the smell was gone by that evening. Calling themselves "odorless" sets up an expectation that it will be 100% free of odors so if you understand that there will be fairly strong odors you will not be disappointed or surprised and can plan accordingly. I would also caution you to get the price quote in writing. I was originally quoted $375 a few months earlier; when I was ready to schedule it was $400. I don't blame them for raising the price but when the guy finished the work he asked me for $425. I did not want to get into it with him as he was not a decision-maker and didn't speak much English but I contacted the office and, to their credit, they immediately refunded me the $25 via Venmo. read more

One of the best experience with home improvement professionals. I purchased a foreclosed condo 4 years ago with a bathtub looking like it has never been cleaned once since its been installed. My contractor recommended Bathtub Refinishing and after a quick and fair estimate and a few hours I had a brand new looking tub. I couldn't believe my eyes, the service was quick and extremely neat. I received a warranty on the work and literally 4 years later (few weeks ago)I noticed a small crack, I called back was willing to pay for the repair as I assumed warranty has expired since tis been so long. He came and re-touched it for free! This is what I call service and guarantee of your work. I would highly recommend Michael at bathtubrefinishing Chicago to anyone read more

I dont usually post reviews but I just had to make an exception here. My condo association is very particular about chemicals used in any remodeling project. They have denied several proposed scopes of work from other bath refinishing companies. Reds & group have been very patient in working with the building and provided all possible information without knowing if they will be approved to the job. Once approved, Red & group continued to be very organized to manage everyone expectations. Alex showed up on time and did a great job while being supervised by the building's maintenance staff. There was absolutely no odor and the bath tub looks better than new. Would highly recommend read more

I am thrilled with the service that Mike and Alex provided for us today. We were in a bit of a rush and called Mike last minute to see if he could come out less than 24 hours later to refinish our bathtub. The tub was very outdated and had no enamel left on it. Alex was actually a little early and very pleasant to work with. I usually get massive headaches from even laundry detergent. No issues whatsoever with the product that Alex used. Best yet it will be ready to use tomorrow. Very happy. Thank you!! read more

I am so sorry to have to write this review, but Mike was totally unwilling to work to resolve the issue. When I called to see about getting my tub reglazed, I spoke to Mike. He asked me several questions regarding my tub, including had it been reglazed before, and was it currently chipping. I answered his questions, and based on my answers, he quoted me a price, and we arranged a date. Alex came to perform the job. I showed him the bathtub, offered him a drink, and he emerged 5 hours later, the tub beautiful, but in a gleaming white. My toilet is bone, the sink is bone, the tiles are bone. Alex didn't tell me he only had white- if he had, I would have postponed the job so that I could get the bone color. When I called Mike after the job was complete to tell him he reglazed the wrong color, he indicated it's not his responsibility to ask about color. Despite this being his chosen profession, in which he works every day, he didn't ask a basic question, he didn't call me back when he said he would, he refuses to fix the problem by reglazing in the correct color, and he hung up on me when I called him back to discuss the issue. He's very unprofessional, and he didn't deliver what I needed. read more
