Exceptional Professionalism, Meticulous Preparation, and an Amazing Bathtub Transformation! On October 21, 2026, I had my bathtub professionally refinished by A Touch Glazing Inc., owned by Omar Rodriguez, and I am extremely pleased with the outstanding results. From the extensive preparation before the work began to the beautiful finished product, this experience deserves a well-earned five-star review. One of the most impressive aspects of this entire project was the extraordinary attention given to preparing and protecting my home before the actual refinishing work even started. This is something I believe deserves special recognition because it demonstrates the importance of professionalism, organization, and respect for a customer's property. As my photographs clearly show, considerable effort went into protecting the surrounding areas. Protective coverings were carefully laid across the floors and walking areas, equipment was positioned on protected surfaces, and the bathroom was thoroughly masked with plastic sheeting and tape to isolate the work area. A large ventilation duct was also installed and routed through a window to help direct air and fumes outside during the refinishing process. Seeing this level of preparation gave me confidence in the care being taken with the project. It was evident that the work involved much more than simply applying a new finish to a bathtub. Proper preparation, protection of the surrounding environment, and attention to the smallest details were all important parts of the process. Now, regarding the bathtub itself, the transformation was absolutely remarkable! Before the refinishing, my bathtub had a worn and unattractive appearance, with visible deterioration around the drain area and other imperfections that made it look old and neglected. I wanted to restore its appearance without having to go through the inconvenience and expense of completely replacing it. The finished results exceeded my expectations. The bathtub now has a beautiful, bright white appearance with a smooth, glossy finish that makes it look practically brand-new. The difference between its previous condition and its restored appearance is truly incredible. Looking at the before-and-after photographs, it is almost difficult to believe that this is the same bathtub. What makes this experience particularly noteworthy is that the impressive final appearance was accompanied by such careful preparation beforehand. Beautiful results are important, but the professionalism demonstrated throughout the process is equally deserving of recognition. I strongly encourage anyone reading this review to take a close look at all the photographs I have included, not just the before-and-after pictures of the bathtub, but also the photographs showing the extensive preparation, protective coverings, ventilation equipment, and work being performed. Together, they provide a much better understanding of the care involved in this refinishing project. I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Omar Rodriguez and A Touch Glazing Inc. for the beautiful work performed on my bathtub. The transformation has made a tremendous difference in the overall appearance of my bathroom, and I am genuinely delighted with the outcome. For anyone considering refinishing an aging or worn bathtub rather than replacing it, I highly recommend considering A Touch Glazing Inc. My experience demonstrates how much can be accomplished through professional refinishing, careful preparation, and attention to detail. A Touch Glazing Inc. has earned my five-star rating, my appreciation, and my enthusiastic recommendation. Thank you, Omar Rodriguez and A Touch Glazing Inc., for treating my home with care and giving my bathtub such a beautiful transformation. Outstanding workmanship, impressive preparation, and exceptional results from beginning to end! Five stars -- absolutely well deserved! read more

Omar was responsive when I reached out about the project and was able to service us within a reasonable timeframe. On the day of the project, he was thorough in explaining what he was going to do. He and his partner did not make a single visible mess and cleaned up after perfectly. Had this been done by my landlord... it would have been a big big mess. The tub itself... flawless. He recaulked as well and it's basically like a brand new tub. The smell was gone by the next day. Attached is a before and after picture. I would recommend Omar and his services. read more

Incredibly good work ... on a very difficult job. Came out amazing. Service was prompt and professional. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Omar was great to work with 3 years ago reglazing my 100-year-old tub. He was even better when that job recently flaked around the drain. I texted him on a Sunday afternoon and we set an appointment for Wednesday -- no fuss, no hassle, no hemming or hawing about the 5-year-guarantee. He made the repair, honored the guarantee, and declined my offer to pay for the work. I recommend him without reservation. read more

Omar and his team were absolutely fantastic from the very first interaction I had with him. He was flexible in scheduling, and very communicative along the way. When he arrived on the day to glaze my tub, he very quickly set up drop cloths and fans to ensure minimal dust or any debris from the work that he was doing. He was finished very quickly and did a great job with cleanup. You couldn't even tell he had been there. My tub looks fantastic now after having chips in the glaze from debris falling on it. I had a terrible experience with a plumber who claimed to know how to reglaze a tub. Turns out he didn't. Called Omar and asked if he'd be willing to work behind a botched job. He said he is usually doesn't but he'd see what he could do. He showed up with Paris and I immediately knew things would be perfect. They had the right equipment and they were equally appalled at the work before. They spent over an hour stripping the paint off and smoothing things out. Paris removed the vanity to make sure they could reach the entire surface. I saw her cleaning the space under the sink she'd removed. Listen, these two are professionals. They came prepared, explained the process, got straight to work, were courteous cleaned up after themselves and the first tub is beautifully done. I'm already happy with the experience and satisfied with the work done. Highly recommend. read more

Omar did a fantastic job. He was on time, extremely courteous, and did a great job. I didn't even have to ask him to take off his shoes. Omar genuinely seems to like his job, which you want in a contractor working on your home. He glazed one tub and it looks great. All the fumes were vented through a tube out the nearest window, so the smell wants as bad as I was expecting. read more

Omar is dependable, timely, and a nice guy to work with. His customer service and quality of work is top-notch. He removed and put back our shower sliding door, cleaned and prepped the surrounding area, and neatly put all waste into a trash bag. On top of all that he gave a lot of advice on maintenance and recommended cleaning solutions and brushes. I will definitely refer him to my friends and family. read more

We have been living with a very 1970s yellow bathtub in our otherwise modern-looking guest bathroom for far too long. When we originally did our bathroom renovation we were advised against replacing the cast iron tub and told to just get a white tub liner instead. However, the price for a tub liner is CRAZY. Like, $5000 crazy. I guess they are priced that way because it is very costly for the installer if/when the tub liner fails and needs to be redone under warranty. So, after kicking the can down the road for a while, we finally decided to go for a tub glazing instead. I inquired with a few different companies and, pricewise, most were the same, or close enough. However, I appreciated Omar's quick communication and his courteous response to my questions, so we picked him for the job. About two weeks later he came to our house and quickly got to work. We removed miscellaneous items from the bathroom (like towels and such) and he covered up everything that remained. He also brought all of the appropriate work and safety equipment for the job, including a hurricane fan to safely vent fumes out a nearby window. Tub glazing is a serious and potentially dangerous undertaking, so it's definitely worth hiring a professional to do it right! The whole job took about 3 hours. Omar was pleasant and friendly to work with throughout the process, and furthermore did a commendable job keeping my home and bathroom clean and tidy. It took nearly 48 hours for the "new paint" smell to dissipate, but we now have a nice, white tub that fits in much better with our bathroom aesthetic. Of course, longevity is the question on everyone's mind, but since we rarely if ever use that tub (we use our master bathroom instead) I expect it to last for a long time. For now the tub looks pristine and it is no longer the sore yellow thumb in our home. read more

Please note, I don't know if this applies to all tub glazing or just this company. My tubs looked good at first (maybe like many of these reviews). There was a brown ring around each, I think where the new glaze meets the old tub, but I learned to ignore that. However, the tubs need consistent care, with a very specific type of cleaning supplies, to stay basically white. If you don't use your tub for bathing, if it's a guest or vacation bath, or if you don't care, this service may be a good value. If you use your tub for regular bathing & want a white tub with little effort, this isn't for you. Yes, Omar is a nice guy. I think of him every day when I'm trying to clean my tub. read more

The whole reason I chose A Touch Glazing was because of the positive reviews on Yelp--Omar did NOT disappoint! He was as good as the many other positive reviews said and maybe more so...if that's possible. I highly recommend him. In my case Omar re-glazed a tub which I'd had done 6-7 yrs ago by a business that has since folded. (A year or so ago a plumber dropped some tools on the floor of the tub and it gashed the finish, which is why I called Omar). When Omar first came over to check out the job he praised the earlier job and said he would make the tub look as good as new. He did exactly that. In addition we had another bathroom that had "dated" green wall and shower tiles and he glazed those bathroom tiles to white as well--also a great job. What took Omar to an even higher level is that the green bathroom also had green 4" square floor tiles which Omar said would not hold up to re-glazing due to foot traffic. So, he recommended someone to install new tile. Then, he worked with the other worker in a totally professional manner to coordinate everything so that they both could get their work done and finish the job on schedule and on budget. Great communication throughout, great work--thanks Omar! read more

Omar and Danny did a TERRIFIC job from start to finish. Highly recommend. Made the process so easy. Omar is super responsive, went above and beyond to help us, made sure my 80 year old mom was doing well throughout the entire process ...and the tubs look fantastic. It's all about the bathrooms. I was trying to sell my mom's condo for about a year. Covid made it tough, but her dated bathrooms made it worse. Once the bathrooms were updated, we needed to reglaze a turquoise bathtub white. One of the things I hate about home projects is you're usually hounding people for estimates, appointments, and any sort of follow up. I sent asks out to several businesses. Omar wasn't the cheapest, but I hired him because he was informative and responsive. He didn't hide the special care a reglazed tub requires. Omar was incredibly responsive throughout the process. I did everything from afar, but there were no issues connecting him with my real estate agent to complete the job. He was also up front when some paint got damaged from taping off the area (not shocking with a fresh paint job). My agent gushed about how beautiful the tub looked. Omar did a great job & helped us get to the finish line. Within a few days the place was under contract. read more

I had this guy come in October, 2024 to reglaze a bath tub. Yes, it looked nice when he was finished but it didn't last. Six months later there was an eight inch circle where the glaze had come off showing the metal of the tub. I contacted him and asked him to honor the 5-year warranty. He said there would be an added fee. I sent him an email asking how much more money he wanted and he never responded. read more

Omar provides much much more than a touch of professionalism, superior customer service and exceptional work! I contacted several companies and asked for estimates for tub reglazing. The information, details and professionalism in Omar's responses blew the replies I got back from other companies out of the water. I was sold and booked my tub glazing with A Touch of Glazing. Omar and Danny arrived promptly to our appointment time. They were both kind, personable and professional. The work they did on my bathtub was spectacular! My experience with A Touch of Glazing was so fantastic that I kind of wish I had another tub to glaze so I could hire them again! read more

Amazing transformation! Thank you, Omar! He was so easy to contact and get a response. I messaged via Yelp on weekend and he responded almost immediately. He was easy to book an appointment with. I regret not having contacted Omar first! I had gotten 2 different company recommendations from friends prior to my knowing about Omar with A Touch Glazing. After sending pictures to those other companies, and then me not hearing back from them, and them me having to follow up again...then multiple email exchanges just trying to book it or find out the price...it was exhausting! So I went to Yelp and am so glad I did! Omar was upfront with pricing. Called to confirm the appointment the week of the job. Called that morning to tell me he was on his way. Showed up on time. Omar was polite and professional all around. Thanks Omar!! read more
