It's in our family room so I walk by it many times a day and it always makes me feel good about my house. Jim is a master craftsman and a perfectionist (plus he is a nice guy). He took some ideas my wife brought to him and turned them into more than we could have hoped for. He listens and he also takes the time to understand and draw on his years of experience to make suggestions and they are always good ones. Jim is not cheap or fast, he doesn't cut corners so if you are looking for that go somewhere else - but if you want woodworking that rises to the level of art and has enduring value (and will seem like an incredible value as time goes by), Jim is the guy to go to. He's also done some smaller projects for us those have turned out really well too. He is the kind of craftsman that makes you think 'what else can I find to ask him to do' because of the quality and value that he brings to his work.

We recently purchased a home and some remodeling was needed, you know how expensive that all gets!…read moreSo... instead of replacing the cabinets we were able to find a company to repaint them. I have added before and after images, I'm very impressed with the final product, you can't tell they were painted, they look like they were installed like this and quality is important to us. We also try to be environmentally thoughtful so this option of keeping the cabinets and not just throwing them out really made us happy. Dealing with this company has been easy and the team is always friendly. In addition, we had some more remodeling done after the cabinets were done, and ended up with some small damage to the newly painted cabinets. We called the company back to see if we could pay for some touch ups, they came out quickly, did the touch ups and didn't charge us! If you're looking to remodel, look at this company as a possibility to keeps your cabinets and just give them a face lift instead of going all new. 110% recommendation!!

Mike and his team were very flexible with time so we could have this done since it requires moving furniture from room to room. With each installation they brought the wood over a few days in advance, and in one case this rainy spring Mike mentioned it was too humid so we waited a few days before installing it per his advice. The installation team have all been very friendly and agreeable, and they've been to our house about 10 times now between the refinishing and new wood flooring. We contacted Legendary Flooring in November to help us choose carpeting and arrange an installation date in a townhouse we owned in Lake in the Hills. We were balancing installation, painting, and tenant move out on a tight schedule around Thanksgiving. With the help of Legendary Carpet and a great painter, we were able to work around schedules and have the carpeting installed immediately after the painting was completed and while the tenants were finishing up their move. The plan came together perfectly with the outstanding help of the Legendary Flooring team. When we made the trip up to visit the townhouse after all of the installations and painting was done we found everything to be exactly as we had hoped. Kimberly at Legendary was a Superstar, reaching out to the tenant and coordinating with the painter to have the carpet installed the day before Thanksgiving.
