I have been going to this dentist for a few years, but finally decided to switch. Because I can't understand how the people in there even got the job or even a license for that matter. Every time I go, there is something wrong that involves me paying a bunch of money for the quality of their work not to be reflected. I had caps that were done by them come out they attempted to put the first one back on but it came out again. And then they just pulled the tooth. They told me the price of getting it pulled. And sent me somewhere else I was charged more than what they told me. It doesn't make a lot of sense cause when it came out it came out from flossing. Then they proceeded to tell me not to floss on that side after putting it back in. What sense does that make? After the other one came out I just decided to go to another dentistry how take a lot more care and does seem to charge me out the ass. And sound more reasonable when they are talking bout my teeth. So, I would recommend them absolutely not and they are very passive-aggressive. To which I tried to ignore but if I am paying you a bunch of money I expect your attitude not to be snotty. read more

I have waited years to post this, hoping my tooth issue would disappear. Went for a cleaning, told I not only needed a deep cleaning but a crown as well. I didn't have any issues with the tooth that needed a crown, but trusted the dentist. It took an entire year for my tooth to get used to the crown and no longer hurt. Then, after 2 years of having the crown, it broke in half. I mean that it totally split! They re-did the crown, which led to me needing a root canal. I am still not right. The area around the crown is still red and it still hurts when I chew. And this is years after the crown was re-done. I absolutely hate that I have spent so much money on something that has caused me nothing but grief, especially since the tooth didn't bother me at all before they started their dental work. I do have to say they saw me countless times for pain to try to help and I didn't have to pay for the second crown. But I had three crowns in my mouth before the one they put in and have never had issues with those (and they are still there and working great). All this makes me wonder about their dental procedures. After all of this, I am going to end up needing a dental implant. Although everyone was nice, I really regret I ever made an appointment here. read more

I went to these dentists for a time and received some work. Caps are not crowns. Their work is mostly failed by now. I refuse to pay them a small balance 70 to $100 maybe after I suffered the full pain of a tooth extraction. I mean full pain no; deadening. The dentist who did the procedure usually put people unconscious. I did not wish this so I told him it; deaden the tooth. He didn't know what he was doing apparently and deadened only my tongue. I told him this fact he did not believe me apparently and went on with the procedure. Suffered every crack and twist and there were many it was impossible to not yell out to which he I recall said something about almost there. It was the most pain I had felt at any dentist in my life. Why would I want to pay for that. So I have a credit check done recently. I have 350 points added to my credit score over this 70 to $100 charge. When they're not even supposed to add to your credit score if the debt is under $500. It's cost me a great annoyance. I do not recommend these people to anyone. They're lucky I didn't sue. Very lucky. I certainly could have. Appreciation for not suing is apparently my bad credit score. Disgustingly vile. It's not like they didn't make thousands from me before that. read more

Everyone was very nice and they were up front about the prices, but they really tried to talk me into a $688 cleaning. I'd recommend going once as I did get X-rays, an exam, and a cleaning for $60 as a first time patient, but I don't know how they sleep at night trying to rip people off like that. read more

I went in for a teeth cleaning 2 years ago and was the only one in the waiting room (should have been my first clue) and it had been 10 min past my appointment before I was able to track anyone down. They tried to get me to buy a $500+ laser treatment saying that I had none and gum loss/irritation and refused to clean my teeth calling it "unethical" without the procedure. I Told them I couldn't afford that right now, but In the mean time I'd like my regular cleaning that I am allowed twice a year with my insurance and they refused to clean my teeth. I LOVED this office staff. I had to have a very long cleaning and laser work done. I was there for about 2 hours but it sure didn't seem that long. Dr Julia is WONDERFUL, wonderful at her job and just to be around. Love her!! Had X-rays and first exam the day before and my dentist was Dr. Casey. Highly recommend! Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has had several issues with this practice. From overcharging 3 times, which was close to $1000.00 to having to have work redone due to a poorly done root canal that caused an infection. Overcharges sat on their books until my husband made another appt in the following year. No reimbursement or even a statement letting us know they over billed us. Then 2 months later they again overcharged on 2 separate visits for myself. Again, if I had not matched up my EOB with what I had paid out of pocket, I highly doubt they would have notified me. As it was, it took me countless calls and e-mails over several months to finally get the money they owed me back. When I inquired why they would over charge me by so much money , the answer I got was "you could wait for a pre-authorization, but that could take 5-6 weeks". My insurance company stated that was very incorrect. I asked for 3 years of itemized billing statements and that was a total joke that they tried to blame on integrating two systems. You can't even go in for a routine cleaning without being scammed into what they are selling. A "hygienist consult" charge for my cleaning? Really? When you question bills what you hear is "you signed for it" from both the billing supervisor and then from the dentist himself, who just happened to walk in on the conversation without even knowing what was being discussed or why I would question billing after being overcharged 3 times. We won't be going back but if you do, beware if the constant sales pitch and always check your EOB to what they charged and what you paid out of pocket. read more

This was by far the best dental visit I've ever experienced (and this is coming from a newbie who just found out she needed three caps). I will never never come back again. they let me wait for over an hour everytime. The staff is so rude, all the staffs look like they are on the job training. While in pain after the root canel, the staff made a temporary tooth to put on. the staff there is lost and does not know what shes doing, she keep putting in and taking the tooth out causing more pain. If they dont know what they doing, get someone who does, instead keep trying and watch me in pain. While i was there to get a crown put on, they accidentally put in the temporary in as the crown and tell me "oh my god, it look so nice". How the hell do you just lie like that. The temporary tooth looks like shit for a reason, they are temporarily until i put the real crown in. After a few months of the crown, it broke off because they didnt adjust it and it keep hitting my bottom tooth. They than tell me stuff happen i should have gotten a night guard. All my teeth was fine before, why the hell does it broke off this time. All they give is excuses and lies. Your tooth can look like shit and they will tell you how nice it look. I paid 1900 total for a worthless job, and they want another 4k to do the implant. Although they offer a portion of it back but is only a portion of what i paid back and not what they charge the insurance. Guess what??when i get another dental job done and the insurance money ran out, i still pay out of pocket. Advice for the office: stop lying to people, get someone who can do the job or hire a few more experience staff, and stop making shit up. I have two different reason why the root canal broke off. This was my very first visit to this office and will be my last. I was made to wait 30 over my appointment time to be seen and I was even 10 min early to my appointment. I was treated rudely by the dental assistant that performed the deep cleaning. Was told that I needed a deep cleaning but ended up getting the same cleaning as my previous dental office however was charged an obscene amount of money. Hands down best dentist office I have ever been to! I saw Dr.Dileo for the first time a weeks ago and ended up needing a crown and a deep clean due to early periodontal disease. She was fantastic about showing me everything on my x-rays and explaining why I needed what and also finding the most cost effective solutions. I went back today for my crown and had to bring my four year old - everyone was so kind and accommodating to her and I both. I absolutely adore the girls at a check in, Brandon the operations manager is fantastic, I LOVE Val who is the hygienist, Katie, and Dr.Dileo are all an absolute treat! At my previous dentist, I stopped going because I felt that they were all about sales and telling me that I needed $600 mouthwash, and when I refused to buy it, the price kept dropping. I think in that type of field you should have very short nails not extremely long acrylics it was very uncomfortable when she was in my mouth and she kept poking me with her gigantic nails. read more

From the second I walked in I was greeted and seen within minutes. Dr.D gave me a tour of the office and then we spoke in her office about what I came for, concerns, etc. Dr.D is nice, knowledgeable, and personable. The dental hygienist was exceptional! She made me feel comfortable the entire time and did a great job! The financial aspect was appropriate and they even have payment options. As a postscript to the review I submitted on 1/7/2019, I have now consulted another dentist. This is a private dentist who is not subject to quotas such as franchise dental mills like Murfreesboro Smiles. For clarity, both dentists at Murfreesboro Smiles told me they had cleared all decay from the tooth to prepare it for a filling. The independent dentist said I still had substantial decay on the tooth and she could not ethically treat it the way Murfreesboro Smiles left it the day before. So, in summary, if you want to compromise on quality and instead opt for a long and rigorous treatment plan (instead pursuing quantity), then by all means choose Murfreesboro Smiles. But, as the adage goes, 'Buyer Beware', I personally will never go near them again! read more

I went to this dentist last year & they were ok for my visit so we swapped my husband over since they were covered by our insurance. My husband went this month & they tried to say he had periodontal disease stage 2 and tried to charge him over $700 for special cleaning treatments needed for periodontal disease, as well as refused to do a regular cleaning. He left and visited a previous trusted dentist that isn't on our insurance for a second opinion. Needless to say he doesn't have periodontal disease of any stage, and we feel they were just trying to make a lot of extra money for this cleaning. Tried out this dentist because I recently moved from Nashville to Murfreesboro and they were recommended by a friend. Seems like they are scamming customers. The office itself is clean and the staff were friendly. I had come just for my routine 6 month cleaning and after the initial X-rays and exam I was informed that I would need a deep clean which isn't covered by insurance as well as specialty cleanings every 3 months. My last cleaning was in October so I was a bit past due but I have always had very healthy teeth and I take great care of them. I decided to get another opinion and I'm glad I did. The second opinion told me there is no reason why I would need any of the suggested treatments and that this practice is owned by a larger corporation which are known for scams such as this. Glad I didn't go ahead with the $650 out of pocket expense without getting another opinion! My recommendation- find another dentist! read more

Dr. Dileo, Tori, and Valerie are wonderful as is the the rest of the staff. Latest technology, and they make crowns right in the office. I had a great experience when I first went. When I went for dentures I was given the price out of pocket for the whole thing. I went back to ask about my permanent dentures and I was told they were not in the initial cost. That is not what I was told. they even showed me what my permanents would look like the first visit and the follow-up visit was completely the opposite of what I was showed. Out of pocket was over 2700 dollars with insurance. I was in terrible pain from my lower partial and they were charging to adjust when I was told it wouldn't be. I ended up filing them myself. I was told the permanent ones would be over 3000 out of pocket. They lie, cheat and steel. Stay as far away as possible. read more
