I headed straight for the tool section, where Jude helped me track down the exact drill bits I needed. Both Jude and Nathan were excellent--helpful, patient, and friendly. The product selection is solid, but what really stood out is the level of customer service. It's rare these days to find retail staff who go above and beyond, and these two certainly did (even humoring me as I reminisced about my own time working in retail). As a funny side note, I even got the chance to chase after a customer and his dog after he accidentally left a dog bone behind at the counter. Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough to return it--maybe he'll return for his purchase! All in all, great selection, great service, and a team that makes shopping here a genuinely positive experience.

The headache began when I tried to pay for the tree with these gift cards. The employee who was helping us suddenly grew suspicious when I mentioned this program and said he had no idea how to redeem these gift cards. Then another employee, Bryce, came to our rescue! He is pleasant and patient. He made phone calls when the gift cards was declined and figured out how to make it work! We will definitely come back to shop here if all the employees are helpful and nice like Bryce!

It's not the biggest of hardware stores, but they carry a little bit of a lot of things. Is your awful old vehicle leaking coolant? They have it. Want to paint your bathroom? They have a small paint center. Have an cast iron stove that needs some work? This is the only hardware store in the region that seems to carry anything at all for them. There are also plenty of commonly needed tools and hardware, a pet supplies and wild bird feeding area, plus a small outdoor/camping section complete with Latitude 40 Maps - my favorite. This is just a supremely necessary place and I appreciate it's existence, even if I do have to go down to bigger stores for some things.
