This store is a joke! Waited 4 months for a sliding glass door and they delivered to wrong address. Then somehow the door gets damaged and now we are out of a door and 4 months waiting around for it to be delivered. Managers and employees could care less about trying to handle this situation but nobody wants to call me back. Even corporate office couldn't help. Never going to use this store again. Go elsewhere! Completely useless staff, no one knows what's going on, sent around the store to pick up a bulk order and got a run around for 3 hours on why they couldn't pull it yet . Manager provides horrible customer service. She is robotic to the point that I wonder if something is wrong with her. All she does is repeat the policy even if the policy doesn't apply. Other experience was with someone who told me 'I am going to prove that I am right'. I just wanted to give a big shout out to Justin (Jason?) in the Flooring department at Lowe's in Silverthorne, CO. I visited 4/10/22 and needed a lot of help picking tile and grout. He was SUPER knowledgeable, friendly, patient and just did an awesome job. In today's world where good Customer Service seems to be the exception rather than the rule, Justin (Jason? I feel terrible, I wrote his name down and lost the paper!) is the exception. I am thrilled with my choices and I don't think I would have made the same ones without his assistance. After having multiple orders canceled over the past six months, and a dishwasher installation where they just never showed up and never notified us after taking our payment...they then told us it was backordered for eight months...today I had another issue. I placed an online order for curbside pick up, then I placed a second order for curbside pick up. When I went to the store to pick up the first order, I got it just fine. However, on the second order it was just canceled. There was no text message, nothing to tell me that this didn't go through. The product was a 12 1/2 pound roll of MIG wire. Part number 178802. It showed there were two in stock. I was not happy about it, but the girl who delivered the items to my car was very nice, and she explained that sometimes there's shoplifting, and she apologized for the items not being in stock. So I drove 80 miles round trip to the nearest Home Depot to get the same product. While I was there, I spent $380 on other items that I needed, items I would've bought at Lowe's. I then learned that for plasma cutting I didn't need my welding hood, and then I could use a pair of safety glasses, so I went back to Lowe's. While I was there, I also picked up six plants, and two pairs of Lincoln safety glasses. But while I was sitting there looking at the glasses, sure enough, there were two rolls of MIG wire, sku number 178802. It's as if nobody wanted to pull the order, so they just marked it canceled. The product was exactly where it said it would be in the app, so I'm assuming the store employees have access to the same information. The price was different on the shelf, about $4 less, but the SKU is the same. I was busy today, and I just didn't want to come into the store. I know the store is shorthanded. Having worked at Lowe's in the past, I try to be understanding. And yes, I could've come into the store today and double-checked. but the end result is that I wasted three hours of my time, and spent that money at Home Depot instead of our Lowe's. This is the third online order I've had canceled at this location. Not happy. read more

If I hadn't already spent hours in the past two days trying to find out where a 'same day delivery' was, I'd go into more detail re: why the 1-star review. A few highlights: * When calling, it's over 100 rings before a person picks up - this has been the case 4 times in the past 2 days. Twice, the phone disconnected after the 100+ rings. * When 'same day order' didn't arrive, I called the next morning to find out why and was told there was a payment processing problem so they couldn't deliver the order. I checked my credit card and the full amount had been charged TWICE the prior day. * Finally had to cancel the order and make a new order. An associate kept me on the phone until he had scanned in my entire order and promised it was ready and waiting to be picked up and delivered. Seven hours later when the order still hadn't been delivered, the next associate at the same desk said the order couldn't be located. * One associate (who actually picked up after 100 rings) suggested I should just come pick up the order (an hour drive) rather than expect delivery as promised. * Finally, I was told I hadn't made my order through Lowe's but through a 3rd party. I made the order on Lowes.com and checked the option for 'same day delivery' which was free because of the total amount (over $500). Went in tonight to get a crap ton of paint for a project and Daniel was absolutely wonderful. So helpful and kind. He found the base we needed despite the shelves showing it was out of stock and he kept his cool with my two boys asking a million questions while he did it. I really appreciated his help from start to finish. So disappointing. I spoke to 3 different Lowe's employees today. The first one was knowledgeable and helpful. The second was not educated on the merchandise in his area. The third was the worst. Alpha was the attend at the self-checkout. My item rang up at the wrong price. I showed Alpha a photo of the shelf price tag with the item number. Alpha did correct the price. However, he was rude, and not trained in customer service. Not the employee any retail operation should want to represent them. If you DO happen to magically get connected to the appliance department, they take your name and number to call you back and then they don't. What is the problem? Not enough employees? I purchased a stove on August 24, yet to be delivered and now they want to deliver a floor model with a big " NO" to a warranty. If you are considering Lowe's for carpet you should read this first. I went to Lowe's and picked out my carpet. I was told that it would take 5 weeks from the time that I paid to the time that it was installed. It took TWELVE WEEKS!!! I was also told that they would move furniture, they did not. They only have one installation company they work with. I tried to call I was unable to reach anyone in the flooring department. I ended up driving there multiple times to figure out what was going on with the timeline. They won't call you back, they will do anything not to talk to you. Once they have your money they could care less about their customers. I am in the middle of a renovation and will not be using them for any of it. They have lost me as a customer. read more

Worst Lowes I have ever been too. Someone needs to file a law suit against them. 50% of the items do not ring up as marked. You have to take a photo of every price because it will ring up higher. Then when you point it out to them they question the picture even. Then they want you to go look up the item number. This has been going on for several years. Not one person in this store has any knowledge of the merchandise. They are all worthless. Your best bet is to use the app to find the locations of the item you want then you have a 50-50 chance it will be in that location. I went in today because Lowes ran a sale on the Ring Stick up wireless camera. I ordered it on line. It said it would be ready for pick up the next day. This was 10 days ago and it's still showing in transit. I went in today because the app showed they have 2. When asking the clerk in cust service I was told they don't have any. If I could give a negative number review star I would. This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered! The staff at this Lowes are rude, & act like they are doing you a favor to answer a question - if you can even find someone to ask. I spent countless hours on the phone & in person at the store trying to track down the status of a tub I ordered. I was given several phone numbers to call (because the employee at the store had no idea what to tell me). They even made me call the tub manufacturer to find out where my tub was. The manufacturer wasn't happy with my call & told me Lowe's needed to call them. At the time I ordered my tub - I was told it would be delivered in 1 week. 5 weeks & many hours later trying to track down the tub - I have no tub. And no one still can give me a straight answer as to when it will be delivered. So I found another one in stock at another store & cancelled the tub order & tried to cancel the drain that came with the tub with no luck. Lowe's charged me $80.00 to deliver an $80.00 drain for I tub I didn't have. When I tried to get a refund for the delivery charge - I again was given an 800 number & waited on the phone for over an hour & finally gave up. My contractor said that people in his line of work call the Silverthorne Lowe's - "Low Expectations." That it is!! I hate when I have to shop there. The whole experience is miserable. The one & only shining light at "low expectations" was an associate named Manny. He was the only employee I have ever run into there that was willing to help & wasn't super rude. read more

I see a lot of employees in the store and they're all walking around but they aren't doing anything! They aren't greeting you, the customer, they aren't asking you if you need help finding anything, hell, they barely look at you! When you're in this area it's worth it to support the locals who are genuinely grateful for your business. Where is the Leadership in these stores? The last time my wife and I were in the garden center about 3 weeks ago there were 2-3 20ish male workers there that were less than useless. More interested with BSing with each other than even acknowledging us. It was therefore a VERY pleasant surprise to deal with Jose (also a 20ish male) when we went there a few days ago. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and totally professional. This Lowes gets so many bad reviews, see below, that we just wanted to make sure he was recognized. Keep it up Jose. The delivery service is unreliable and can change without reasonable notice. This location does not answer phone calls. I was on hold for over 30 minutes. ....while awaiting in the appliance dept for help, the appliance manager was called to come to area by the young man who was a new employee in the Department. The manager who had a flannel shirt on and not wearing any Lowe's attire at all, answered questions about delivery to "Winter Patk "as per the new employees concerns . I remained close by, to continue to get a question answered myself! The young guy was very nice, asked me to wait and he would be with me next. I waited but the people ahead of me then, decided to purchase more items! I saw the manager there in the appliances twice so decided to ask him " May I just get a price on a dryer that's unmarked". This so called manager replied " No, I don't have my scanner". The very nice young guy stated to the MANAGER " you can use mine"!!! This so Called "Manager"' ignored him, than mumbled under his breath and walked away! I just left after that as well!! Can lowes explain, how these people who work here can be so unconcerned about customer service! This store is always a problem$ prices always ring up more and they expect you to take a pic of the price taped on the shelf and come back to prove it! General consensus on google maps is that this is the worst Lowes in the history of Lowes. AGREED. Will NEVER go there again, would rather do without whatever was needed. I actually used to work here years ago when I was making a little extra money during mud season, so I know the problems mentioned here aren't the fault of the staff. Corporate strongly encourages the store to keep as few cashier stations open as possible because they want customers to use self checkout, which is a terrible idea for a hardware store. I remember a customer yelling at mee because he got halfway through scanning about a hundred tiny pvc pipe joints and the scanner stopped reading the barcodes. We had to start the whole process over and he made s****y comments to me the whole time- IT IS NOT THE EMPLOYEE'S FAULT, it's corporate. Management needs to address this Side note to employees- ask for more money. They're desperately short-staffed and you have the negotiating power.. I made $13.50/hour when I worked there for a couple of months several years ago. It's illegal for your employer to ask you not to discuss your wage. The hiring manager told me not to tell anyone what I was making when I got the job (again, illegal). Lowe's needs to pay more to attract more employees and keep them in a good mood. As it is, you can tell everyone is overworked and underpaid. That awful rotating schedule doesn't help, either- I hope that's been fixed. All of these factors make the Silverthorne Lowe's a pretty miserable place to shop. Take care of your employees and they will take care of your customers. read more

Every time I've been here, I have a good experience with staff... once I can find them. I have never not waited for assistance, specifically in the appliance department. I'm literally waiting here again. Giving them two stars because I've always had good luck with stock, but their staffing issues leave a lot to be desired. Also, if you get invoices for install, be aware that they are always wrong with their estimate. Always. Donnett was helping another customer, so Trish offered to me help me, even though it wasn't her department. Donnett immediately offered to help when she was available. The only lamp left that I wanted was on display. Donnett got up on her big ladder, lifted that heavy lamp down to the ground, then insisted on cleaning the dusty lamp shade. I called in to customer service in Silverthorne, but no help, in fact, customer service left me on hold for the better part of an hour and then hung up. Original product delivery for 05/20 now being scheduled the 4th time for 06/13. And, they gave me a 12 hour delivery window. I hate to bash an entire store.So I won't.There are some good folks working in the Silverthorne Lowes, however its just another store in this mtn/ vacation housing starved area.I know the dedicated customer service people (there are 5). The remainder pretend to be doing something else as you occasionally have to ask for help.I used to use the contractors pro service the ladies are stone cold great.The 2 or 3 manager guys are aloof and wont open up a service counter even when there are people lined up to the other end of the store. So I reluctantly go get gouged at BRECK Building supply(they have a grumppy ass contractors desk too ) They also are not cash and carry so be prepared to scuffle around the yard looking for stuff and totally loading it yourself.Welcome to the wild west!
