We bought a SubZero refrigerator from Greers and honestly they should change their name to Greeds Talk about bait and switch, unfortunately we needed the refrigerator so they were able to extort an extra $5000 at the last minute. We will never purchase anything from this store again . read more

I purchased a GE microwave from Greers. Salesperson Ashley was great to work with, knowledgeable, positive, and friendly. The two installers Charlie and Eduardo were excellent as well. Charlie had a smile throughout and both offered their names and were extremely friendly. Quick install! All adds-up to why Greers Appliance is the place to go in Summit County. John P. read more

I love supporting local businesses, and Greers Appliance Center made it easy! Great selection, great prices, and even better service. They went above and beyond to make sure my new washer and dryer were installed correctly. Highly recommend this store to everyone. read more

Worst experience I have ever had with an appliance store. Kim their technician came to my home and broke my dishwasher and told me I need to buy another one. All he had to do was fix spring on door and broke the entire dishwasher. The owner Sarah was rude and not willing to take responsibility. read more

Greer's Appliance Center - The technician broke the door and left the parts and said I need to buy a new dishwasher. - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Silverthorne, Colorado

I had an issue with my dishwasher on Jan. 2. I called Greers and they told me it would be 2 weeks before they could come out to fix it. I sent them pictures of the issue, the serial number and model number. 2 weeks later they show up, spend 5 minutes looking at it and leave. I find out they have to order parts and will be back in a week. Mind you, they told me they were going to fix it that day. Today, they were supposed to show up between 1-3pm. No showed. When I called, they were extremely rude. I do not recommend doing business with them. read more

Helpful and quick. My contractor recommended these guys, I went in, picked out appliances in less than 30 minutes, paid and left. They came at the appointed date to install. Done. They were helpful when they came to install to let me know the vent over the stove was ancient, they replaced that too. Great. Easy. read more

This was our first time using Greers and I wish we had come sooner! The staff was so helpful, informed and not pushy at all. The prices are competitive and the selection is fantastic. The installation was set up quickly, and working with the sales rep was easy and efficient. Charlie showed up to our house right on time. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the items he was installing. He cleaned up, spent time going over some things and made sure we were completely satisfied before he left. What a refreshing change from the big box installers. From start to finish the whole team at Greers was excellent. Thank you so much! read more

I would, without a doubt, take your business elsewhere. I would not recommend this service to anyone. It took three days of coordinating my work schedule and my groups skii schedule before we finally had someone show up to replace our microwave. There was no consideration for our schedule or consistency with their quoted time ranges. The first day they showed up 2 hours earlier than quoted (we were on the mountain and came back early only to be around at the time they told us they would be here). The second day, they did not show up at all (again, we left the mountain early to be here-no show). The third day, they showed up later than they quoted time range. This was far from a good customer experience. read more

Another contractor in the Summit area recommended them to replace my appliances in my short term rental. Called them, told them what i needed... they called me back, installed them three days later. Oh, and sent me pics since i don't live there. Easy, breezy, lemon squeezey. read more

We needed a new gas stove for our mountain home. After reviewing my options, I elected to shop at a locally-owned company. I chose Greer's Appliance in Silverthorne, CO. We were very impressed with the selection and quality of the merchandise. The sales staff were friendly and answered all our questions. The owner, Al, also came and helped us select the right stove. They installed the next day. The installation crew were awesome and made short work of wrestling our old stove out and installing the new one. I give Greer's a 5 star rating. Bud read more

We have a short term rental and have had several horrible experience with the local big box. I happened to stop by Greer's and found someone knowledgeable and helpful. After getting a very fair price they actually delivered on time. The two gentlemen that delivered my washer and dryer were quick, professional and extremely nice to deal with. Great experience. Greer's will be my first stop next time and every time. Save yourself some stress and heartache and shop at Greer's. Best of all you will be supporting a local merchant who offered the same prices as the big box store. read more

Had a wonderful experience! I had a complicated problem with a new stove. Many service calls and phone calls to G.E. They stepped up and rallied for me to get a new sppliance for the lemon that i initially bought. Thanks Greer Appliances! Really appreciate your support. I highly highly recommend! read more

I'm a handyman in Summit County. I went to a client's apartment to replace a garbage disposal. When I opened the kitchen sink cabinet I immediately smelled sewer gas. It turns out that Greer's had just installed a dishwasher. They changed the configuration of the drains... instead of using the separate drain for the dishwasher they drained the DW into the garbage disposal, and left the other drain open, allowing sewer gas into the apartment. I humbly went to Greer's to inform them of their mistake, and Sarah personally insulted me, and took no responsibility for the code violating install. read more

I've used these guys a few times and am not impressed. I called them to get my dishwasher fixed and the guy answering the phones was real condescending. We will see how the service goes 2 weeks from today! Ridiculous. read more

Called for assistance with our appliances in need of repair and the gentleman I spoke with wouldn't even talk to me about options of scheduling a repair. Website states that they service much of our area but when I asked the gentleman he told me that they only do that for special occasions or exceptions. Found the person in the phone to lack any interest in helping us or wanting any future business we may provide them. Seeing as my entire career has resolved around customer service; I would think a repair service would pride themselves on trying to help a potential customer. Very disappointed. Will keep this in mind for any future recommendations or services. read more

I had a great experience here with Al and his crew. He was very responsive during a very busy time of year, had a very good selection, and he was knowledgeable without a pushing a sales angle. The customer service at Greer is absolutely terrible! Do not buy from them. They now claim they must charge MSRP for appliances, however, I purchased a washer and dryer a few years ago and was given a discount. You can get much better service and pricing from Denver. read more

We purchased all of our kitchen appliances from Greer's and our first interaction with them was terrible. They did not give us the time of day and acted like we were a nuances. Our freezer had a defaulty defroster so we called Greer's to get a part for the freezer to fix it. After more digging, turns out we needed another part. My husband called 4 times and was told the only person that can help us was gone. He emailed two times with no response. He called again and was told to come in today as the gentleman who can help us will be there. My husband went in, the Guy was not there, and no one tried to help him. Clearly they do not care about customer service and as a local, we will not support their business ever again. read more

I contacted Greer's Appliance two days before Thanksgiving because my oven died. I went to Lowes first and not only do they not carry ovens in stock, I could not pick up at any other location in any surrounding areas and they would not sell a display oven. They actually recommended Greer's. I went in, they first tried to locate a part for me and then found an oven I could take with me. They were great to work with AND I got the sale price and saved $600! Great customer service. I'll be read more

I have bought appliances from Greers through the years and if you can deal with the owners things go well. However the last time I priced an appliance with Bonnie, they were $400 more than Lowe's plus adding a $150 delivery. Had they been within a couple hundred dollars I would have bought from them. Bonnie told me the price I was quoted from Lowe's couldn't be right as she had checked it online. The price I told her Lowe's quoted me was accurate. Two months later when the appliance had problems and GE scheduled them to do the repair, Bonnie canceled the repair job. Bonnie said on a voice mail, she could do that at her discretion since I didn't buy it there and if I had any questions I could call. She said "I think you have our number." Yep, I have your number! Too bad you represent the owners. I am thankful for the cancelation as Lowe's is replacing the appliance with a new one immediately, which is much better than waiting on parts ordering and another repair trip. I love supporting local businesses but as long as Bonnie is there, with her attitude, I will go anywhere else. read more

bought an appliance suite from Greers. They looked on computer to price match to Lowes. Installation was a total cluster. Attempted delivery and installation on wrong date and to wrong property. When they did install they just slid appliances into place (most were significantly crooked) and did not secure them (despite two trips). Were supposed to test appliances as part of installation. Dishwasher had water supply under sink turned off (discovered at our 1st use) so was clearly never tested. Compactor shorted out at outlet at 1st use. Very disappointed in the service. read more

Had them fix a gas oven that had its ignition stop working. It took 2 trips and multiple follow up calls to get it installed. They would call and say they were coming the next day, so I would leave the door unlocked, but no show by them. When they did put the part in they left no note and no bill, so didn't know it was fixed until I called in to chase it again. They billed my credit card $171.50 but I never saw a bill. No idea how it was broken down. Do not use them if you want to know what you are being billed for. read more

Bought a house full of appliances from Greers through our builder. (1) I had to spend time getting them to agree to eliminate their drop off charge which no other vendors charge (2) Several appliances were set up incorrectly, (3) Delivery person sat on our new kitchen counter while he told us why one item was broken and (4) We spent hours on the phone with them trying to get two appliances fixed via warranty after they broke within a couple months - going on 3 months waiting for them to figure out the warranty issues. I recommend going to Lowes down the street, which is excellent. read more

We purchased a microwave from Greer's several years ago. It had to be specially ordered to fit out cabinetry. The owners were extremely helpful and didn't seem to mind that we had placed such a small order. We have had no trouble with this appliance in all these years and we use it nearly every day. Last year we bought a stove and the installers did a wonderful job. This year we purchased a dryer that is made for all the laundry we do and we love it. We now hope the dishwasher will break so we can replace it with a new model from Greer's. I would recommend this business to any relative or friend. read more

Great selection of appliances in varying price ranges, with candid evaluation of pros and cons, and no push to buy up. They even looked up and matched competitors' price without prompting, and they were able to deliver the new refrigerator that day, replacing our dying old one. Even the installer could not have been friendlier. They are clearly deserving of all 5 stars! You can't go wrong purchasing here. read more

My home needed a range, dishwasher and frig. After a long search for a good deal, I went to Greer's on a recommendation from a friend. They were outstanding to work with! They worked with me on a great deal for the appliances and took care of the installation and all the details. I highly recommend that you check them out and give them a chance. read more

Horrible Experience! Purchased an $1569 Viking Cook top Vent from Greer's appliance to be installed in a clients house. They came to install it and left without notifying me that there was a part missing, the drawer would no longer close, and the fan was not hooked up. I called the next day to see what happened and they said we would have to extend the existing wire since it wasn't long enough with the new location of the electrical on the new vent and they did not do electrical. The drawer beneath the cook top would no longer close because the duct was in a lower location and they said we would have to modify the drawer. I had an electrician install a box and extend the wire that day and I personally modified the drawer. I called and told them it was ready to wire the fan and they told me it would be another three and a half weeks before they could come back to hook it up and replace the missing part. I finally talked to the owner who said she would try and send someone out early the next week and never heard back from her. I called her again and she said they couldn't send anyone back until the scheduled date. I told her my clients needed the cook top vent and she told me most people don't use it much anyway. I told her my clients use it daily and still no results. They finally sent the guy over in 3 weeks. I would never recommend using this company. UNBELIEVABLE! Should not be in business!!!! read more
