Worst experience I have ever had with an appliance store. Kim their technician came to my home and broke my dishwasher and told me I need to buy another one. I had an issue with my dishwasher on Jan. 2. I called Greers and they told me it would be 2 weeks before they could come out to fix it. I sent them pictures of the issue, the serial number and model number. 2 weeks later they show up, spend 5 minutes looking at it and leave. I find out they have to order parts and will be back in a week. Mind you, they told me they were going to fix it that day. Today, they were supposed to show up between 1-3pm. No showed. When I called, they were extremely rude. I do not recommend doing business with them. read more

I would, without a doubt, take your business elsewhere. I would not recommend this service to anyone. It took three days of coordinating my work schedule and my groups skii schedule before we finally had someone show up to replace our microwave. There was no consideration for our schedule or consistency with their quoted time ranges. The first day they showed up 2 hours earlier than quoted (we were on the mountain and came back early only to be around at the time they told us they would be here). The second day, they did not show up at all (again, we left the mountain early to be here-no show). The third day, they showed up later than they quoted time range. I'm a handyman in Summit County. I went to a client's apartment to replace a garbage disposal. When I opened the kitchen sink cabinet I immediately smelled sewer gas. It turns out that Greer's had just installed a dishwasher. They changed the configuration of the drains... instead of using the separate drain for the dishwasher they drained the DW into the garbage disposal, and left the other drain open, allowing sewer gas into the apartment. I humbly went to Greer's to inform them of their mistake, and Sarah personally insulted me, and took no responsibility for the code violating install. read more

Called for assistance with our appliances in need of repair and the gentleman I spoke with wouldn't even talk to me about options of scheduling a repair. Website states that they service much of our area but when I asked the gentleman he told me that they only do that for special occasions or exceptions. Found the person in the phone to lack any interest in helping us or wanting any future business we may provide them. Seeing as my entire career has resolved around customer service; I would think a repair service would pride themselves on trying to help a potential customer. Very disappointed. We purchased all of our kitchen appliances from Greer's and our first interaction with them was terrible. They did not give us the time of day and acted like we were a nuances. Our freezer had a defaulty defroster so we called Greer's to get a part for the freezer to fix it. After more digging, turns out we needed another part. My husband called 4 times and was told the only person that can help us was gone. He emailed two times with no response. He called again and was told to come in today as the gentleman who can help us will be there. My husband went in, the Guy was not there, and no one tried to help him. I went to Lowes first and not only do they not carry ovens in stock, I could not pick up at any other location in any surrounding areas and they would not sell a display oven. I have bought appliances from Greers through the years and if you can deal with the owners things go well. However the last time I priced an appliance with Bonnie, they were $400 more than Lowe's plus adding a $150 delivery. Had they been within a couple hundred dollars I would have bought from them. Bonnie told me the price I was quoted from Lowe's couldn't be right as she had checked it online. The price I told her Lowe's quoted me was accurate. Two months later when the appliance had problems and GE scheduled them to do the repair, Bonnie canceled the repair job. Bonnie said on a voice mail, she could do that at her discretion since I didn't buy it there and if I had any questions I could call. She said "I think you have our number." Yep, I have your number! Too bad you represent the owners. I am thankful for the cancelation as Lowe's is replacing the appliance with a new one immediately, which is much better than waiting on parts ordering and another repair trip. bought an appliance suite from Greers. They looked on computer to price match to Lowes. Installation was a total cluster. Attempted delivery and installation on wrong date and to wrong property. When they did install they just slid appliances into place (most were significantly crooked) and did not secure them (despite two trips). Were supposed to test appliances as part of installation. Dishwasher had water supply under sink turned off (discovered at our 1st use) so was clearly never tested. Compactor shorted out at outlet at 1st use. Very disappointed in the service. read more

Had them fix a gas oven that had its ignition stop working. It took 2 trips and multiple follow up calls to get it installed. They would call and say they were coming the next day, so I would leave the door unlocked, but no show by them. When they did put the part in they left no note and no bill, so didn't know it was fixed until I called in to chase it again. They billed my credit card $171.50 but I never saw a bill. No idea how it was broken down. Do not use them if you want to know what you are being billed for. read more

(1) I had to spend time getting them to agree to eliminate their drop off charge which no other vendors charge (2) Several appliances were set up incorrectly, (3) Delivery person sat on our new kitchen counter while he told us why one item was broken and (4) We spent hours on the phone with them trying to get two appliances fixed via warranty after they broke within a couple months - going on 3 months waiting for them to figure out the warranty issues. Horrible Experience! Purchased an $1569 Viking Cook top Vent from Greer's appliance to be installed in a clients house. They came to install it and left without notifying me that there was a part missing, the drawer would no longer close, and the fan was not hooked up. I called the next day to see what happened and they said we would have to extend the existing wire since it wasn't long enough with the new location of the electrical on the new vent and they did not do electrical. The drawer beneath the cook top would no longer close because the duct was in a lower location and they said we would have to modify the drawer. I had an electrician install a box and extend the wire that day and I personally modified the drawer. I called and told them it was ready to wire the fan and they told me it would be another three and a half weeks before they could come back to hook it up and replace the missing part. I finally talked to the owner who said she would try and send someone out early the next week and never heard back from her. I called her again and she said they couldn't send anyone back until the scheduled date. I told her my clients needed the cook top vent and she told me most people don't use it much anyway. I told her my clients use it daily and still no results. They finally sent the guy over in 3 weeks. I would never recommend using this company. UNBELIEVABLE! Should not be in business!!!! read more
