I returned to work at the Cheyenne location after college because I could not find something in my field at the time. The first time I worked at this store during the summer, it was ok so I came back. The second time, I came back as a full time worker and a lot changed. The management was terrible and the store manager was constantly micromanaging everybody. Also my new coworkers were incredibly lazy and hard to get along with. One BIG red flag here was that management would instruct Hardside associates to clock out after the store closed, lock the doors, then make everyone wait until the cashiers finished counting their drawers before employees were free to leave. This would sometimes take more than a 1/2 hour! RIDICULOUS! Not to mention its against OSHA regulation 1910.36(d)(1) to lock the doors with people inside. "Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors". read more

Ordered a snowblower. Called after 1 week, was told the assistant manager would call me. Came back after week 2, asked about order. They had never heard of me or my order. I produced my receipt and asked for a refund. Will never order anything from them again read more

This store needs to get it's act together. They have all that outside "storage" that used to be where a person could shop outside in the fenced area connected too the store. Last time I was brought back there by an employee the placed was trashed. I could tell that it had been this way for awhile. Can't wait to get Jax's here. read more

I've had to come from Western Nebraska twice to pick up products and Jess has helped me both times, she is friendly, helpful, & lots of fun. In fact everyone at this store is great! AND I love my Yeti! Keep up the good work Jess, she needs a raise read more

Prices are pretty good and the staff friendly enough, but absolutely no follow through on what they tell you. They promise to get back to you with answers and you simply never hear from them. You purchase something that needs to be ordered and it doesn't actually get ordered. The saddest part is, we were primarily dealing with Savanna, her name tag said she was the manager. Likely won't do any more shopping there. read more

I usually enjoy going to Murdochs, but I have noticed a continual decline in the associates' attitudes and behaviors over the past six months or so. Customer service is lacking. For instance, I feel like I'm interrupting the important chat sesh if I have to ask for a dressing room; and today my family and I stood at a register (that was empty) for about 2 minutes while the girl behind the counter stood there spinning a rolling target like a top... on the area where we would have put merchandise. The other three associates in the counter/cube were just chatting away. We finally gave up and went to another register. I will be looking to buy my usual Murdochs items online in the future. read more

Staff are very friendly and willing to help customers. As usual, Murdoch's has awesome selection of dog and cat food at great prices.

Went in today to purchase a leaf blower. Brandon could really care less regarding my request. In fact, he told me to get on the website and order it. He did not offer to assist in any manner. His surly snd rude manner just reassures that I do not need to return to Murdoch's. read more

I will drive all the way to this store to shop as the Longmont Murdoch's has horrible customer service. This store always has anything I need and if they don't, they do what it takes to get it for me. I highly recommend this store. read more

High school kids running this place generally have poor people skills. With the exception of the older lady with white hair and the young lady with short platinum hair. Whether it's propane, jeans dog food or nuts and bolts. These two rock! read more

This is my go to store for everything from clothing and shoes to dog food and tools. The store is always organized with items easy to find and when you can't find what you need they have an incredible staff ready to help you. We always have a wonderful experience shopping at Murdoch's. Recently, Savanna who's name tag read manager, exceeded our customer service expectations. It was great to have an individual in a management position assisting us and helping direct us, providing us with the information we needed. Typically in other shopping experiences we don't have the opportunity to deal directly with a person in management. Look forward to continuing to shop here for whatever I might need. read more

Poor customer service. They were rude when I wanted to do a return for pants, which were defective when I bought them(didn't notice until they tore less than 24 hours later). I never return things and this experience will keep me from coming to this store, or recommending it to friends. read more
