I really enjoyed this store. The second I walked in I saw Stars and Stripes on everything from shirts, pants, and boots to sexy daisy dukes... so much awesome. God bless America! This store is owned by Boot Barn so there are a lot of Boot Barn brands. Don't let this deter you because there are some really nice things you simply won't find on the west coast (where I'm from). Long story short, I spent too much money here. Or maybe it was just enough. I can't wait to wear my new threads. We were 3 women new to the store. We had seen it on social media and we all had budgeted 300$ to buy authentic boots. I forgot my socks so I had to spend 20$ on socks just to try on! It's a pretty store but no customer service! When we walked in all four employee stood so we at the counter and asked if we were ready to check out and we hadn't even looked at anything yet if they would've showed us the store told us about the Boots we would've made a purchase, but I can't believe that I drove an extra 30 minutes north of Denver to stop here don't stop it's not what it's built up to be. read more

I was told the one thing you have to do when visiting Cheyenne, WY was to go the Wrangler. I did. I discovered it identifies as a Boot Barn. The outside is a really cool structure. Inside the store has been updated and there are 100s of cowboy boots on display, sorted by size. There is western wear for men, women and kids. ...and lots of hats. The salesladies are super friendly and willing to help direct you to whatever you are looking for. The store is fine. I was just a bit disappointed--thought I would find something different, but found the Wrangler is nothing more than a Boot Barn which are ubiquitous throughout the western states. read more

Though this place is tourist stop if you come to downtown Cheyenne. I was highly disappointed in the customer service once I went. My wife, daughter and I went inside to see if anything caught our eye. While they had at least 3 sales associates near by not one greeted us or offered to help in anyway... They were too busy talking to a customer about a hat he was shaping...IJS After atleast 15 min we left and took our business elsewhere. read more

You hate dealing with people that are prejudice. Not very often does it happen or at least I thought it didn't. There is a worker here that you can feel she does not like people that are not white like her. All the other workers were great, she just made sure I will never visit this establishment again. Could be just the be that I am In a small Midwest town. The place has so much nice western wear and a guy that steams your hat, I have never seen that. read more

As an out of town visitor, this store front was fun to shop. Appearance & history of the building drew our attention, walked in to find a variety of western wear. Ladies section racks of jeans, boots & jewelry. I was greeted by Griff who helped me with some items & was friendly. Nice gal checking us out at the register asked where I was visiting from & was also very nice. Bought lots of fun jeans & shorts. read more

The store is huge, located in an old western feel downtown district. 4 stars for the huge selections of western wear boots and hats Collections varied in medium price to high end prices, boots made with alligator skin to snake skin just to name a few. 2 stars for a "hello" greeting by one of the male clerk as we entered the front door. Other than that we were there on our own. Trying to find the correct size. I had questions and none of the two sales person bothered to stop by to check on us. I left feeling sad and oh so disappointed I didn't walk out with a cowgirl boots for myself and my girls. Cool, iconic western wear store in the quaint old school business district. Really friendly folks, made me feel at ease while I totally unloaded my wallet at the register. Owned by (or owns) the national Boot Barn chain, but the selection here is much better than I've ever seen at other BB locations. They have a very broad hat selection, including some truly beautiful hats that are for the more discerning customer. Full service hat blocking by folks that know what to do and how to do it. I was in the store prior to the CFD activities and can only imagine what a circus it becomes when the drugstore cowboys and buckle bunnies blow into town for the rodeo and need some supplies to be the true posers they are. They have a large selection of men's and women's items, including boots, boots, boots! They seriously have more boots than I have ever seen! They sell cowboy hats, belts, t-shirts, western shirts, and tons of gifts to remember your visit to Wyoming. The staff are wonderful...even if you just stop in to look, they will chat with you and show you around the store. Very friendly people! I typically visit during Frontier Days, and now it's become a tradition each time to stop by after pancake days! Their western selection is not to be beat. We always find something. Prices can get a little high, but the quality of merchandise is bar none. They carry the latest fashion and I've gotten hats, boots, shirts, and many other things as well. Are you a cowboy? Do you aspire to be a cowboy? Well, then you're in luck! This is THE place to buy all things cowboy/cowgirl. Did I want to punch the salespeople in the face when they informed us they sold kangaroo, hippo, and elephant boots? YES! Was the guy assisting us wearing elephant boots? OMG YES! We came here 2 days in a row. My brother picked out some bad ass boots, and so did I. Do I like that typical country western cowboy boot? HELL TO THE NO. I like some squareness. But I actually found some boots I liked enough to buy. They have a side zipper and they are much shorter than your typical boot. The amount of boots they have here is insane. The fact that I found a pair I liked says it all. Prices were pretty reasonable, except for you know, those exotic animals they had to kill and turn into boots. Those ran $700-$800...they also had the largest cowboy hat selection I've ever seen, of all kinds. Located in the heart of downtown, this is the place to buy your boots and all things country western. Just don't expect a box with your shoes. read more

We stopped in Cheyenne on our road trip specifically to check out this store. I was looking for a Stetson hat, and thought that this seemed like the perfect place to find one. Unfortunately, Boot Barn has bought this store and kept the original name. They had a few Stetsons, but the vast majority of the merchandise was Boot Barn's Cody James brand made in China. I came away disappointed and without a hat. read more

I stopped in here expecting to find a quaint, possibly historic and hopefully locally owned western wear shop. What I found was a BOOT BARN chain location. Which, as anyone who tries to buy American knows, is filled with garbage from China and Bangladesh. Disappointed and I won't be back. Sad that they dress cowboys up in rags from Asia, no one knows how to make a shirt in this country anymore?? Anyway, they did have a couple of US made hats, so they get 2 stars instead of 1. If you're looking for run of the mill western wear fresh off of the banana boat, this place is for you. If you are looking for a unique experience, keep moving. You can experience this in any of Boot Barn's hundreds of locations. read more

I've been a Wrangler customer since I was a little kid. Seemed like everyone in Cheyenne had something to do with Cheyenne Frontier Days. I was no exception. I've been buying my boots there since childhood. It's also a great place to browse around. Being a city slicker, I don't have much exposure to the cowboy culture and like looking at the styles and accessories. I wear mostly Carhartt stuff these days and the Wrangler has a good selection. It's now technically a Boot Barn store and they now have a couple other storefronts around town. During CFD, the Wrangler sets up a tent store at the rodeo grounds. The downside of being a Boot Barn is that merchandise is made all over the world, and if you want American-made, you'll have to look closely at the labels. The upside is, the Wrangler has been locally-owned for generations (I think). read more

We went the the Boot Barn across from the Frontier Mall to buy a pair of boots. The woman who I tried to get to help me just couldn't be bothered. I asked her for help, and she promptly disappeared (it wasn't because they were busy!). So, we went to the Wrangler. A lady immediately helped me find the exact boots I was seeking. They fit perfectly, and are quite stunning. I'm so glad we went to the Wrangler. Yay! read more

Most ladies shirts ran aboit $30 a shirt which was really reasonable for a boutique (in my oppinion). Staff were super friendly, helpful and gave us alot of great advice about the area!
