You can't go to Cheyenne Wyoming, not having a little Shyanne. One of my favorite places to go shopping when I visit this town. I WOULD recommend it.

You hate dealing with people that are prejudice. Not very often does it happen or at least I thought it didn't. There is a worker here that you can feel she does not like people that are not white like her. All the other workers were great, she just made sure I will never visit this establishment again. Could be just the be that I am In a small Midwest town. The place has so much nice western wear and a guy that steams your hat, I have never seen that.

I really enjoyed this store. The second I walked in I saw Stars and Stripes on everything from shirts, pants, and boots to sexy daisy dukes... so much awesome. God bless America! This store is owned by Boot Barn so there are a lot of Boot Barn brands. Don't let this deter you because there are some really nice things you simply won't find on the west coast (where I'm from). Long story short, I spent too much money here. Or maybe it was just enough. I can't wait to wear my new threads. If you're traveling through Cheyenne and you don't stop here - you're seriously missing out.

Works everytime...60% of the time! $36.99

Some time ago in San Diego... Ron Burgundy: Wow. Never ceases to amaze me. What cologne you gonna go with? London Gentleman, or wait. No, no, no. Hold on. Blackbeard's Delight. Brian Fantana: No, she gets a special cologne... It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good. Ron Burgundy: It's quite pungent. Brian Fantana: Oh yeah. Ron Burgundy: It's a formidable scent... It stings the nostrils. In a good way. Brian Fantana: Yep. Ron Burgundy: Brian, I'm gonna be honest with you, that smells like pure gasoline. Brian Fantana: They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time. Ron Burgundy: That doesn't make sense. Brian Fantana: Well... Let's go see if we can make this little kitty purr. $36.99 a bottle of Sex Panther at Wrangler...I almost bought it! :D

This is a historic store in downtown Cheyenne, featuring western wear and a bunch of western goods. You simply must stop in here and check this place out! They have a large selection of men's and women's items, including boots, boots, boots! They seriously have more boots than I have ever seen! They sell cowboy hats, belts, t-shirts, western shirts, and tons of gifts to remember your visit to Wyoming. The staff are wonderful...even if you just stop in to look, they will chat with you and show you around the store. Very friendly people! This is a historic place in downtown Cheyenne...stop in and check out all the cowboy and western gear!

I have been wanting to make my own hat for a while now. Did my famous Google search for custom…read morecowboy hats while in Cheyenne and WildJTrading popped up. This is a true example of a mom and pop shop. I looked at their website and Instagram posts. Due to it being owner ran she is not open like big stores. Make sure to call or message on Facebook or instagram to get times or book an appointment through her website. I was only in town a few days so I needed to go on Saturday. I reached out via messenger on instagram and was contacted back within an hour. She was not open on Saturday because she was having a pop up event at a local brewery. $85 for a beer, hat and accessories. That was a great deal. In store prices can range from $90-$200 depending on the hat and accessories you pick. Got to brewery at 12, hats were first come first served. I tried on a few colors until it settled on my tan hat. Next step was to pick the accessories to make your hat truly yours. I picked ribbon, flowers, feathers, cards, and even had it branded. Whole process took about 1 hour, even with about 15 other people in there for the same thing. Next time I am in town I will be going back to Wild J Trading to get another hat.

The pieces Jenn brings in are better than local department stores, and always great quality. I have also had my old felt and straw hats updated through the large selection of hat accessories the store has to offer. Can't recommend this place enough - love shopping local with people who love the community.
