The first time I worked at this store during the summer, it was ok so I came back. The second time, I came back as a full time worker and a lot changed. The management was terrible and the store manager was constantly micromanaging everybody. Also my new coworkers were incredibly lazy and hard to get along with. One BIG red flag here was that management would instruct Hardside associates to clock out after the store closed, lock the doors, then make everyone wait until the cashiers finished counting their drawers before employees were free to leave. This would sometimes take more than a 1/2 hour! RIDICULOUS! Not to mention its against OSHA regulation 1910.36(d)(1) to lock the doors with people inside. "Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors".

In all, it took 9 calls (phone cut off, messages unreturned, etc.). Eventually the CSPD determined there was not any usable video evidence. For a billion-dollar company not to have good video coverage of their parking lot for security purposes is a telling problem and second rate. Good thing no one was assaulted out there. Will not shop there ever again.

You can tell what is where for the most part. 4: Their prices are decent on quality products. 5: They allow bobtail truck parking while you shop which is important to truckers as we need a place to stop and restock our trucks with food and supplies. I think Walmart corporate needs to look closely at everything that makes this store what it is and use it as the bar for what a Walmart must be to improve everyone's shopping experience nationwide.
