Supporting local artists and paying an official visit to Ethan Blu's gallery. We met Ethan a few…read moreyears ago during the pandemic when he was hosting a virtual sip & paint event promoted by Yelp. He donned his Bob Ross wig and led us away on a fun experiment painting hummingbird birds. I believe it was the first time I actually painted anything on a canvas and I really had a great time. It was great that we had the opportunity to meet him in person this time around and we appreciated his charismatic nature. Thank you Ethan, for the personalized gifts and we look forward to another visit.

Transcended on over to Ethan's gallery finally! I've been following him via social media since the…read morepandemic. I had always planned on coming into the gallery at some point in time. The stars aligned as we roamed around Solana Beach like "locals acting like tourists" as I say. We're N SD peeps & honestly there is always something to explore. In between coffee cafes and consignment shops Cedros Art district is literally right up my alley. I just love the arts whether it's live music, photography, paintings, and/or you name it! We were warmly greeted by Anna & Ethan himself. Birds of a feather ~~ as I too dabble as an artist. He's hosts several events too! I'd like to return for one of those in person events. Once upon a time we joined one of his virtual "paint and sip" parties~~ via zoom at home. That was a lot of fun but now that pandemic has eased up on us we can interact in person again. If you appreciate the arts I'd highly suggest that you go and check out his works too! It took me a hot minute..but am so glad we finally made it! Now I'm inspired to get out my canvases and splatters some paint on them!!!

It's so tranquil, zen, and makes you feel awestruck! I feel as if I'm being transported to a different world. One of peace, love, & tranquility. The pieces and wood artifacts are very unique! So many things as an option. Varies in size and pricing. They pride on the quality! As it can be an heirloom piece in your home, for a long time, and/or passed down for continual use. The staffers are always so helpful and they seem to like working there. I joke with them when I play around with the sound bowls. That they got to endure customers like me who might not know what the heck they are doing. Maybe someday I'll met the owner but believe he resides in Bali where many of their artisan pieces come. Each visit I buy a new bracelet or jewelry piece as they are made, donated, and then sold here. The proceeds go towards a program for kids in India. Handcrafted so each piece is unique. Reasonably priced too. A little goes a long way elsewhere in the world. So this makes me happy. I wish a little could go a little bit further stateside. But here we are. So many imports from different regions like Thailand, Bali, and etc. Just all around great vibes here! I cherish the blessing stone they gifted to me. They said it for my "patience" in waiting for them AND as a day after my actual birthday present. Thank you! Thank you! It truly made my day! Already thinking about my next stroll here!

This store has a great selection of wood works and other artesanal artifacts with some to please…read moreeveryone. I loved the larger wood tables with very intrinsic designs. The staff is always very friendly and the shop is spacious enough for a good walk around.
