Te gallery is a non-profit organization and heavily supports children's art with bi-annually art shows and receptions. They also donate funds towards a student scholarship yearly to a local graduating senior majoring in art. The art work changes out quarterly followed by a reception featuring all the members as well as five "featured artists" and the press. Food and beverages are served at the receptions. It's so tranquil, zen, and makes you feel awestruck! I feel as if I'm being transported to a different world. One of peace, love, & tranquility. The pieces and wood artifacts are very unique! So many things as an option. Varies in size and pricing. They pride on the quality! As it can be an heirloom piece in your home, for a long time, and/or passed down for continual use. The staffers are always so helpful and they seem to like working there. I joke with them when I play around with the sound bowls. That they got to endure customers like me who might not know what the heck they are doing. Maybe someday I'll met the owner but believe he resides in Bali where many of their artisan pieces come. Each visit I buy a new bracelet or jewelry piece as they are made, donated, and then sold here. The proceeds go towards a program for kids in India. Handcrafted so each piece is unique. Aaron's work inspires collectors and fans through their shared love of the ocean, as experienced through his photography. He is a well known surfer that takes incredible pictures of waves, ocean views and seascapes, among many other subjects. I've always been skeptical of crystals, but after talking to a coworker about my experiences she recommended I look into a "black stone" she placed in the main corners of her apartment to ward off negative energy. I had plans to do some work in Del Mar at a coffee shop later that day and was telling my boyfriend that I wanted to get over my skepticism and give crystals a try, and therefore needed to look into some sort of shop that sells them - until I stumbled upon this shop kind of tucked away that I normally wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been so into understanding the whole crystal thing. It's funny because I'm also never in Del Mar and had just been talking about my nocturnal experiences that led me to considering crystals lol. Anyways, I decided to go in and I explained to Sibel and Laurie what I was experiencing, what my intentions were, and asked where to start, and they were so helpful and sweet and recommended black tourmaline (which I was told to hold each piece they had in my hands to decide what "feels" right) for the four corners of my room/under my pillow. I left with a chunk of the tourmaline and a small bloodstone, and everything was so reasonably priced and I had such a great experience that I will be coming back in the future :) wish me luck on my crystal journey!!
