I went to Mufflerman on the referral from my usual car repair shop. I went late afternoon and amazingly was taken within 30 minutes. This is an extremely busy place but the personnel are all top notch. The cost was less than I expected also. The exhaust systems are all stainless steel and fabricated for your car. Excellent service. They do not take appointments they are first come first serve. This had me little on fence on going BUT they run like a well oiled machine. I got there at 910 (ten minutes after opening) there were six people ahead of me, BUT still I was in and out under two hours! Had to get a flex pipe welded and a few other spots, they were thorough on showing me what was wrong and explaining what steps needed to be taken. Very reasonable prices! First I have to say my dealership recommended these guys to me to fix my muffler and said it would be 3 times less than them which is awesome and unheard of at the same time. I went there around 5 and they closed at 6. I called first to make sure I could get in and they said they don't do appointments so just come on by. They checked out my car and let my dad and I look at what was wrong and gave us a short term solution and a long term one with two prices. He told us it would take 20 minutes to do the short term fix and since they're off weekends it would be 3 days. Price gougers. My son was there today and paid $878 for a new exhaust which took roughly 30 minutes to install. looking at prices online I could have gotten comparable set up for $250ish. I came here at the recommendation of Pep Boys! On Sunday afternoon Arcee, my Mitsubishi outlander sport was sounding rough and I thought the muffler was going om its last legs. I scheduled an appointment with my dealer's service station and ran some errands. To my dismay, walking out of the grocery store I see a pipe broken and hanging down.... I pull myself together after having a rough week before and starting finals week at ECC and job training this is the last thing I need. Of course this is Sunday when most service stations aren't open or open late and its 5pm. After a Yelp search I see Pep Boys is open, take a long slow drive over and make an appointment for the following day. (The following day I tried getting into a local shop but they couldnt take me till Wednesday) So with Pep Boys not being able to help and suggesting Mufflerman I made a quick call to make sure I could get in. I was advised it is a in/out queuing system so just come in when I can. A few things really made this worth it. 1) Mondays they are open till 8pm. 2) They take you into the bay to show you the car. 3) Friendly and fast, they completed my repair in the time it took Pep Boys to diagnose my car. 4) Reasonable price. Additionally much like the TARDIS, its bigger on the inside. 3 bays to the left of the waiting room and 3 to the right, the waiting room would be a tad snug for guys that don't want to cuddle. They serve coffee and have a public washroom. Im glad I ended up coming here and discovering a new auto gem. I dont know if they only do muffler and exhaust but if i have an issue in the future they are on my list to call. read more

I have a 2008 SUV and it's a rust bucket from living in Buffalo. My check engine light was on and it was really loud. My neighbors always laughed cause they could hear when I was leaving or getting in. I took it into a shop downtown to check it out in March and they didn't feel comfortable welding the exhaust pipes and recommended Mufflerman. And so I took their advice and went there the next day, nice and early. It's first come, first serve. It's a local place and the guys there were so helpful and transparent. They replaced parts throughout the exhaust system and my rusty muffler. They gave me the option of leaving out the muffler, but I wanted everything done in one shot. They gave me a timeframe of 3 hours (I needed a lot of work) and the total cost. I paid and came back 3 hours later and it was all finished up! I was so pleased driving out of the lot--my car no longer sounded like an embarrassment! Fast forward 3 months, I turned on my car and it sounded even louder than I've ever heard it. I panicked, turned my car off and looked under my SUV. My exhaust pipe was sitting on the floor with a clean cut. I gave Mufflerman a call and they asked me a few questions and what I saw. They offered to come to me as I didn't have AAA. They drove out 25 mins on a Friday and took a look with me. It was clear that someone was trying to steal my catalytic converter. They tied it up for me and I followed them back to their shop. They welded the pipe back into place and sealed an attempted cut on the other end of the converter. Now it's back to sounding quiet. It was such a quick and pleasant experience. They were really caring, making me stay relaxed about the entire situation. I can say with confidence that my experiences with them has been spectacular. I wish they accepted tips, but they don't. I can't imagine getting this amazing service and hospitality at any dealership. I absolutely recommend this place for your exhaust/muffler. I took my car in here about an hour and a half before close on a Friday and they got me an estimate within minutes, a fifth of the price and he did it right on the spot and it took less than an hour!! I went in there twice. Both times they tried to sell me on a whole new exhaust system. The first time I brought my old Bronco in and just wanted mufflers put on and they said, "this truck had the cats removed so we wouldn't be able to work on it without putting the cats back on and running a new exhaust" which was a complete crock of shit. I then brought in my New Yorker to get an exhaust bracket put on and they said that they couldn't just put the clamp on because the exhaust wasn't factory, and was too close to the floor boards and it could catch the carpet on fire. I told them there was no chance of that happening, and if they had a problem they could re-run the exhaust pipe and create room. They then changed their story and said they couldn't do that because the exhaust would hit the suspension. The guy kept saying that they'd have to run a new exhaust. I told them to take the car down off the life and pull it outside. These guys are a joke. If you know what you're doing you'd never take your vehicle here. read more

Basically I didn't know I bought a lemon, but all the while they had it up on the lift, they didn't say anything and didn't let me know that my truck had a hole in the frame and that I probably shouldn't pump money into it. On the way home from work my car started to sound like a freight train. Scared to drive it, I took it to the dealer. They told me there was a hole in the exhaust and I needed to replace the system. Mind you, the car is new, well to me, and only a year old. I learned the repair was not covered under warranty. Understandably upset by the massive bill ahead of me, Mufflerman was recommended to me. I called and they said they could see me right away. Being a women in a repair shop, I'm always weary of the employees. However, Don and his staff really made me feel so comfortable! I explained my story, they assured me they would help me out and not to worry. The mechanic walked me under the car, and explained what the issue was. He answered all my questions, and walked me through the repair process. The best part?? The repair was a drop in the bucket compared to what I was quoted at the dealer. When it comes to repairs, not only does price matter but service as well. Every single employee greets you with a smile and a sympathetic ear, they are truly there to serve you and make sure your car is back in shape. Called a bunch of mechanics to fix a vehicle Muffler.. no one could even fit me in for a few days JUST to look at it. A friend then recommended Mufflerman. I live about 35 minutes away, but I called and they said just bring it on in ... Literally an hour and a half after dropping it off, the vehicle was totally fixed with a beautiful new stainless steel muffler. And to top it off it was a quarter of the price I was expecting to pay!! They were so friendly and courteous! The guys at Mufflerman on Delaware Ave in Kenmore, are spectacular! I turned into a parking lot off Main St in Clarence at lunchtime and heard this huge bang under my vehicle. Then there was this rattling sound coming from underneath. I thought it was likely an exhaust problem, so I read a bunch of reviews about exhaust places, and Mufflerman had the best reviews. I spoke with someone from West Herr who told me that they also take their vehicles to Mufflerman in Kenmore, even though they're not close by. So I drove there earlier this afternoon. They pulled my vehicle into one of the bays and I saw it lifting in the air. About 10 minutes later the man came into the waiting room and told me one of the support brackets had snapped and something or other (?) was vibrating onto something towards the front of the vehicle. (I don't remember the parts exactly) Anyway, they had welded it back together. He handed me my key, and said you're all set. I asked them how much it was and they said no charge, just please come back to us whenever you might need anything in the future. He then said, "but I don't expect that will be for a while, as your exhaust system looks brand new" What fantastic service is that then? They were all very pleasant, super friendly and funny guys. I've finally gotten around to writing this review for Mufflerman. Let me start by saying, I sincerely doubt there is a finer exhaust system shop anywhere in WNY. The place is like an operating room for cars & trucks. The staff are courteous, attentive, and highly knowledgeable in all facets of exhaust system repairs and instalations. I brought in my 68 Ford short box Rat Rod pickup for a custom performance dual exhaust system and they gave me my money's worth in a very timely manner. The specialist that performed the work was a true gentleman and exceptional at his job. If I could rate Mufflerman at 6 Stars, you better believe I would. Brought my brand new amg E63S for a custom exhaust and the guys here were professional and extremely helpful. Cost only $120 where he had to make a custom joint without charging me extra. Was also very careful about the car and kept me updated on the progress of the car. No need appointment and in and out in 30-40 mins. Awesome guys!! These guys were great! Mufflerman was recommended to me by another auto tech who does not work on mufflers, so I figured they would know who is good. I had let me muffler repair go way too long. It was bad. My first estimate was over $1000. Ugh! I did some checking for estimates and Mufflerman was the most affordable. I got there when they opened and they took my car right away. They move quick, but they don't rush through their work. When they called me up to pay I was a little afraid my bill would end up being over the estimate but my final charge was exactly what they estimated. No upselling, not surprise charges. I ended up paying less than half what the dealer quoted me. I had the repair done about 4 months ago and it had held up just fine. Hopefully I won't need a muffler repair in the near future but if I ever do I'll definitely go back to Mufflerman. read more

Got a mid muffler delete done on my Jetta last week, I was outside before open and as soon as 9 am hit I was greeted by a very kind and helpful associate (Matthew) I explained what i was looking for and he gave me a quote within minutes, agreed and he got right to work, I was there for no longer than 45 minutes and the work was amazing, very very reasonable prices and the customer service is top notch, I will recommend every one of my friends to this business. I was looking for a place that could take off my Performance canister and weld on a factory style OEM Replacement. The person on the phone who was very nice and friendly (Bob i think) said to come down and we can give a more accurate quote because giving a accurate quote over the phone is almost next to impossible. I am aware of this because I have been in the car modding game for many of years. So i get down there and they pretty much said just Pull it in, even without knowing what I was there for, but they know just to rack it up and see what they are working with to give a quote. They quoted me about $80-$120 to get it done. I forgot the price but it was no more than $120. Which I though twas reasonable. They actually told me what they were going to do and what included in the price quote. They were going to cut off a flange, weld on a new one and put a new gasket. The thing I liked about then is that they were fast and the work looked very good. It took no more than 30 minutes to do. The reason for the 4 star and not the 5 star, was the mechanic working on my car wasn't friendly. Very stand off ish etc, but other then that, I wouldn't hesitate to take my car back for more exhaust / muffler repair/work to Mufflerman. read more

Went to Mufflerman today,after rave reviews from family members.Waited an hour,which was fine,busy meant to me,it was popular,due to good service.The greeter,was great,the mechanic was not. Very rude,never called me in to show me the problem,slammed my hood and probably car door so hard,I could hear it,me being outside,and 2 bays away.Told me to get part from dealer(converter) and bring it back.Then the disturbing part starts to play out-tells me he's going to charge me $500.00+ to cut the pipe,and install new part.Is he kidding? It's a 2 hour job,and when did mechanics start making $250.00 an hour? I really would like to know what his thought process was at this point-I could name a few,but I am too disgusted. read more
