My 2008 Mitsubishi sounded like a jet engine, and I couldn't put on the heat or AC because it was venting exhaust into the car. I took it to my mechanic (great guy) who told me it would be $3100 to fix. He said the catalytic converter was cracked and my muffler had rotted out. And apparently with my car the exhaust system is only sold as one solid piece, the converter isn't included, and nothing was covered under warranty. So he told me he knew a welder in Kenmore that could probably do a patch job for me for cheaper. Hence calling Mufflerman. I brought my car in at 5:30 pm, and they greeted me at the door and pulled my car in immediately to get me an estimate. I was seriously expecting to be told I would have to leave it overnight, so that was a pleasant surprise. After looking it over for 10 minutes, the gentleman brought me into the bay and showed me the cracks and holes in my system, the rusted out areas, the dead muffler, the missing heat shield and supports. He told me they could cut out sections and fabricate pipe to reattach, then fabricate the remainder of the exhaust. I have to tell you, every time he said "fabricate" I died a little inside. Kind of wondered how much my kidneys would fetch on the black market. After all this he told me "$697, and that includes tax. If you want to wait I can have it done tonight". My stunned look prompted him to laugh and say "let me show you something. Every bay has a welder and a pipe bender. And those racks back there are full of all lengths and diameters of pipes. This is what we do. We fabricate exhaust systems". Less than 2 hours later my phone rang and I went to get the car. He told me they were able to cut out and save the converter, save all the stainless pieces, fabricate and weld pipe between everything, and get me a new muffler with a lifetime guarantee. My car now runs more quietly than when I purchased it! I cannot say enough about these guys and how great they are. I would recommend Mufflerman to anyone, and I've already told 5 people about my experience just this morning. Thank you so much, this was huge for a single mom on a budget. I can't say enough good things about these guys. My car 2005 Pontiac has been rumbling away for over 8 months now. Muffler/exhaust systems for my car are upwards of $700, which is why I waited so long. I emailed Mufflerman via their web page, received a quick response advising that I could bring the car in because they don't do appointments, kinda like first come first serve. I left work on my lunch break just to get an accurate quote and determine what was really wrong with my loud car and obvious exhaust leak. I was taken care of immediately, within 5 minutes the technician Matthew, called me back to go through the exhaust issues. I had 3 different issues starting with Spring Bolts up in front, to the gasket and flange near middle, and corrosion near the muffler that would obviously not last through winter. Matthew said he could do the work in about an hours time. I figured he was probably going to take longer and it was going to cost me an arm and a leg. I got everything done including labor and exact time frame for about $290. As I waited Bob, the Manager I suppose... was AWESOME! The workers were very friendly, and I felt very comfortable. I liked the fact that I was shown the issues and given alternatives. I am very pleased with the service done on my CR-V, and the amount of time, including the money spent. Had a complete exhaust system fabricated for my Mini Cooper in a very reasonable time. The guys in the shop had us laughing the whole time we were in there. They seem to enjoy working with one another, and no job presents much of a problem. While I was there they took care of customers with a broken rear spring, a bad oxygen sensor, a transmission dipstick assembly, and my oddball contorted Mini exhaust. The car ended up sounding EXACTLY as I'd asked for, with a little bit of a growl. The job was done neatly, quickly, and all hangers and bolts were replaced better than new. And the price was about $200 dollars cheaper than I had anticipated! Just a great bunch of guys in there who really know what they are doing, and not just mufflers at all. Got a problem? I found Mufflerman online doing some research after being told I needed an entire new exhaust system by a national retailer to the tune of over $1,500.00 (plus tax). When I pulled into Mufflerman, someone was coming out to meet me before I barely was getting out of the car. Matt took it right one of their 6 bays and withing 10 minutes, he took me in to show me what the problem was and told me that it didn't need replacing at all! It could be repaired and the cost: $294.01. I was over the moon! I couldn't get the work done right then, but since it was their late night, Monday, I brought it back after I got out of work and again, right into one of the bays it went and was good as new in about an hour. Brought my 2013 Hyundai Veloster in just because I wanted a bit more performance and sound than you get out of a stock setup, prior to coming I had called and they had informed me to go online check out youtube videos on the Solo Performance Exhaust for my car, which did help a bit to determine if I wanted to go with a BIG Name Performance exhaust set up or not in the end Solo was the right choice, no appointment took me in right away, explained what I wanted and in return they explained there end..I did a new CAT back with Resonator delete and new muffler, along with that I had a new K & N Tyhoon CAI I purchased previously they had no problems installing it for an hr. labor charge...well to say the least my car now sounds much better and performs much better...it will never sound like a V8 or V6 but its not a can of rice or beans either...hate that stuff...Thanks Joe DePronio read more

I brought my $1k exhaust to them and right when I arrived they made a great first impression. Came out and talked to me, we explained what I wanted done and they were very open with what they were going to do. 30 minutes later my exhaust was installed and looked perfect. I have never posted a review of a business before in my life. I have never been pleased enough or upset enough to bother to do so. Today that changed. I took my 1999 honda accord DX with 94,000 miles on it to them with a catalytic converter that had broken free from the front pipe. They saved the converter with some creative welding and replaced the front pipe. This saved me money and the landfill or junkyard from more needless waste. I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. They were quite busy this morning. Bob the manager was a very personable guy and makes you feel at ease. Driving on I-90 in my Subaru Forester today, the muffler pipe brakes off 200 miles from Buffalo. I called Subaru for a quote.
