    Review of LA Auto Sales and Service…read more I feel completely used and taken advantage of by LA Auto Sales and Service. On 11/8/24, I handed over every bit of my hard-earned savings as a down payment, trusting this dealership to sell me a reliable vehicle. Instead, they handed me a nightmare on wheels--a car riddled with issues that couldn't possibly have been caused by me in the short time I've owned it. Within the first three weeks, problems started piling up. One of the keys constantly gets stuck in the ignition and sometimes won't start the car. The car felt like it had transmission issues when letting off the gas and braking, only for it to later be confirmed that the turbo was completely blown. This wasn't a minor inconvenience--this was a catastrophic engine failure that had clearly been brewing long before I ever bought the car. Then the check engine light came on 20 days after I bought the vehicle, pulling a P0171 code. I brought it in on 12/3/24 after Thanksgiving, only to sit there for over three hours, waiting for answers that never came. They admitted they didn't even have the proper tools to diagnose the issue fully and sent me away with yet another appointment a week later. It got worse from there. Additional codes like P0420 and P0496 appeared, and the check engine light has practically been a permanent fixture on the dashboard. When I finally had a trusted repair shop inspect the vehicle, they uncovered the truth: the catalytic converter had failed, the turbo was completely destroyed, and an entire page of error codes was present. This car was a disaster waiting to happen, and LA Auto Sales and Service sold it to me knowing full well it was in terrible condition. Despite this being a vehicle I've owned for less than two months, I've been left to shoulder the financial burden. The dealership begrudgingly covered $600 of the catalytic converter repair, leaving me to pay the remaining $600 out of pocket. Then came the turbo repair--a staggering $1,600 bill that I had to take out a loan to cover because the dealership refused to help. I didn't give them broken money, yet they sold me a broken car. I've never felt so used and abused by a business. LA Auto Sales and Service clearly doesn't care about its customers or their safety. They took my money, gave me a car that was falling apart from the moment I drove it off the lot, and washed their hands of the situation when things went wrong. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor--stay as far away from this place as you can.

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. I bought a car online from this dealership, was told it was in…read moreperfect road worthy condition. I had the car delivered to me a month ago, and it still has not moved from my driveway. They sold me a car that has 4 dry rotted tires, over 10 years old each, no working reverse lights, a major electrical issue that the power seats and climate control don't work. The new battery I had installed does not hold a charge. The alternator winds too high and is not seated correctly, the fuse box gets upwards of 220 degrees. I won't run it because I am afraid of a fire starting. The list goes on and on. I had the car towed to a specialist (more $ out of my pocket) to check it out. They raised all the same concerns I had and said it is not safe in its current condition and will need upwards of $5k, probably more to fix all the issues. They even took my sales tax money, saying they had a third party registering my car. Well, the car is not safe for the roads, so it can't be registered, but they have my sales tax money still. It would never pass inspection. I was looking for a weekend driver to take to car shows and I got a total lemon! This dealership refuses to do anything, stating "I have buyers remorse!!!!!!" Are you kidding me? I was looking for this style car for over three years. I wasn't looking for a car that needs tons of work or I would not have bought it. Now I am forced to get a NY Attorney, get the NY Attorney General as well as the NY DMV involved. I did hire a third party to check out the car. He apparently doesn't know a lot about these sports cars, because he seemed to just look at cosmetics, not electrical or reverse lights or dry rotted tires (I could go on). I will be looking at this company next. Yes, the car looks nice, but OMG, what a mechanical, electrical mess!! A lot of my wasted time on this. I just wanted my money back, but now since it looks like this dealership doesn't care, I will be looking for a lot more than just that. Yes, I have learned my lesson. Due to this awful experience, I will never make a large purchase like this online again. Stay away from this dealership. It seems they don't care too much about the online customer. Writing this to hopefully help anybody thinking of buying online from these rip off professional's.
