I don't like ppl taking the air intake off since you have to push up against an electrical connector with ur socket to get the cover off. I brought this in for an inspection, why are you showing me my air intake filter?!?!? I take care of my shit, don't touch anything unless asked. I absolutely would not go here again. I would give this 1 star if the manager I worked with wasn't a cool dude. I'm assuming Valvoline corporate wants ppl to "upsell" ppl. Regardless I don't think what u diud was right. My strategy for finding any new third party is to read the reviews and try and synthesize the truth, speak to a decision maker and assess and finally ask for some quotes for the parts and labor. I spoke to four shops and of course everyone needs to see the job before finally committing and that scope can obviously change. Sam freely and patiently gave me some quotes for both (others couldn't get past - we need to see it), the quotes and the final pricing were both very fair and competitive. Mo communicated freely during the fix and heres the kicker and why we'll trust these guys moving forward. They easily could have turned the minor job into a relatively major fix and they didn't, the problem and solution was less in every sense than what I assumed it would be including their cost - great job the both of you!

I had to wait over 40 minutes last time I was there, which I understand sometimes it's busy - but there's got to be a better way to save your spot in the queue than letting your car sit and run for an hour.

I tried scheduling an appointment down the road at Pep Boys but they couldn't get the tires put on until the next day. Goodyear had the tires readily available but they were more expensive which is kind of a bummer considering their name is on the tire and the building. Regardless, I didn't want to wait any longer so I made an appointment here. The confirmation advised that it would take a couple hours to put them on. Got there half an hour early. Bill, who was very kind, advised that it would in fact take a couple hours. Kind of inconvenient because I know Pep Boys and other tire service places will put the shoes on right then and there and have you out within half an hour. But I went to Wegmans next door for lunch and shopping. By the time I was done my car was ready. Another bummer was not being told about the rebates Goodyear advertised on their website. Had I not made the appointment online I would've been out $100. At the end of the day this place serviced me in a quick and convenient fashion.
