He said that he would fix the A/C and asked if I would put a deposit down. He tried to get ne to put $2,000, I agreed to $200. He made a copy of the title to the vehicle and wrote on the title stating that I made a $200 deposit. Later I see that the name on the title was a completely different name than the workers at the auto repair shop. I no longer felt comfortable purchasing the Jeep. Also, I didn't feel comfortable because I did not truly believe that he would fix what was wrong (why the check engine light is on). I then asked for my deposit to be refunded and he stated that the Jeep was already sold and that if I wanted my deposit back, I would have to take him to court. Monty comes off as a good guy but it is really just an act. After I asked for my deposit to be refunded, he was rude and mean. A totally different person than the person I met when he tried to sell me a Jeep. He seems comfortable with keeping peoples money even though he has no written policies on refunds. He said he could take a look at it in about five minutes. I appreciated this because time is money when I'm driving for Uber. Kirk solved the problem by getting some zip ties and securing the loose metal that was hanging from the bottom of my car. This took him about five minutes to complete, and he didn't even charge me. They just had a hard time with this tire. When he called this place, the man told him $220, then would call back and change the price and say $ 300, and he would have to get corrected by being told you just told me $220. Then the man would say, "Oh yeah, right, $220. Mind you, this is only for 1 tire. I think that's way too much for 1 tire, but anyways, the car ended up being in the shop for 1 day (to change a brake for one tire). The man called in the morning and said, "These are the wrong brakes and rotors, so I used mine and changed the other one in the front as well, so it's gonna be $450 now." Auto Zone helped find the correct brakes and rotors for the car and even so NOBODY TOLD YOU TO DO THAT. Soon as the car is being driven back home, it starts to smoke. Now the coolant is empty (never ever had this broken before), so had to go to the gas station to get something for it, poured some into the car, and drove a little down, and it's smoking again and the coolant back empty, so it's a leak. I called the man multiple times once the car started smoking and he's denying everything.
