I was already working with Scott at Michigan Sandblasting and planned to have my Jeep's underbody sandblasted there. Rashid told me they could apply POR-15 afterward, so based on that I paid to have the Jeep towed down there. After it arrived, everything changed. Rashid started questioning the project and for over a week I was given the runaround. Multiple times Rashid told me he would "talk to Scott figure out a solution and call me back," but the call back never happened. Every time I followed up I got the same vague response and nothing actually moved forward. Rashid knew all of the details prior to me towing it down there. If this wasn't a job they wanted to take on, that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of telling me to bring the vehicle down and spend money towing it there. It's extremely frustrating to be told something can be done, only to have the shop avoid giving a straight answer after the vehicle is already there. Very disappointing and unprofessional way to handle a customer. I wasted time and money because they couldn't simply be upfront about whether they were willing to do the work.

Ended up not going through with the leak repairs given the expense is more than my car is worth. Paid them for the labor from starting/investigating the leaks and for an oil change. They even put the sticker on my windshield saying they did the oil change. I come home and check the dipstick the next day to find oil up way past the hash marks. I get under my car to find my own, old oil filter. I drain the oil to find about 7 quarts of oil (my car only takes 6). I call today for some clarity, they say I "must not know enough about it" and that they didn't charge me for the filter. I'll attach my bill so you can see why i assumed I got a new filter in my oil change. Also I have no idea why I would ask for an oil change and you would choose to not put a new filter on, but still give me my sticker like I'm good to drive.

This place has changed! It's not the same place or the same owners from 2 years ago. It was sold…read more I'm 78 years old and I was given the runaround. For 4 weeks I was without my car. They held it hostage for "repairs" they said they did AND are trying to bill me $2,000 for things I did not authorize. I'm going to small claims court. We also have the documentation we need for work that they say they completed but it is clear they did not complete anything. Transmission they broke was not replaced. Brushings for steering not done. They did an oil change I never asked for and charged $135.00! We have photos and videos from independent mechanics who looked at the receipt and inspected the car for what they supposedly replaced and recorded it in real time. It shows bolts rusted onto parts that they say they replaced and billed me for. No new brushings in steering. It's a shady place and if you know what's good for you you'll stay as far away as you can. This is my experience and it's the first time I've dealt with someone trying to take advantage of me like this. Went in for a simple Solenoid replacement in the transmission $1,100. Doubled the bill. Go somewhere else, anywhere else, protect yourself. That is the purpose of my honest review. Word of mouth experience...
