I found my shop! VIP…read moreAuto Repair has earned a lifelong customer in me. I've gotten multiple services from them, from oil changes to engine repairs. Each and every time time they have been throughout, friendly, and trustworthy. On my last oil change they ran a complementary overall vehicle check and ended up finding a problem, that if left unchecked, would have been very expensive down the road. And without me even having to ask, they brought me back and showed/explained the problem, along with answering all my questions. Communication during all services/repairs has always been easy and timely. VIP's customer service is top notch as well. When my car had to stay there for a few days, I was offered (at no cost) a ride from and back to the shop to pick up my car. (I lived very close at the time and realize that may be a factor going forward.) During the last repair, they were also able to give me a loaner car, which took away so much of the stress that comes along with having a car in the shop. Finally, if you're lucky, the owner's sweet pup will be there when you come in. :) I have recommend them to so many people in my day to day life, and I recommend them to anyone reading here as well! You won't be sorry.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! They had a Jeep Patriot for sale. The check engine light was on and he…read morestated that it was on because the A/C was out. He said that he would fix the A/C and asked if I would put a deposit down. He tried to get ne to put $2,000, I agreed to $200. He made a copy of the title to the vehicle and wrote on the title stating that I made a $200 deposit. Later I see that the name on the title was a completely different name than the workers at the auto repair shop. I no longer felt comfortable purchasing the Jeep. Also, I didn't feel comfortable because I did not truly believe that he would fix what was wrong (why the check engine light is on). I then asked for my deposit to be refunded and he stated that the Jeep was already sold and that if I wanted my deposit back, I would have to take him to court. Monty comes off as a good guy but it is really just an act. After I asked for my deposit to be refunded, he was rude and mean. A totally different person than the person I met when he tried to sell me a Jeep. He seems comfortable with keeping peoples money even though he has no written policies on refunds. MONTY IS A SNEAKY DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!

They were able to get my car looked at right away. Simon was so helpful and looked at my car the second I pulled in. He said that the condition of my car was great and that it seemed to be running smoothly. However, he agreed to put it up on the lift to do a general wellness check of the undercarriage of my car. After inspecting it (again, right away) he took me under the car to show me- he said that everything looked to be in great condition. The only thing he did point out was that my tires were needing to be replaced in the near future- and took the time to show me how to check the tire tread. He offered to give me a quote, although I felt no pressure from him to purchase the tires through him/at their shop. I really appreciated that Simon did not try to sell me some part that I didn't need, or to tell me that something should be fixed on my vehicle when everything looked great. Simon had such a genuine way about him, and I could tell that he was very honest and that I could trust him- which is huge! After asking him to look at the cabin filter, it DID need to be replaced- they didn't have one in stock- so Simon ran to the store and was back to replace it within 5 minutes! I was so pleasantly surprised. I was shocked when the general wellness check on my vehicle only cost $50! and he didn't even charge me for the cabin filter... If I had taken my vehicle to GMC, I for sure would have had to wait a week or two for an appointment, then they would certainly keep my vehicle for several days- and a wellness check would definitely cost upwards to $200. Needless to say- I will be doing ALL of my future motor / car needs to John's Auto Center!

After picking up the repaired vehicle 5 days later, the transfer case failed catastrophically within 20 miles of highway driving (left me stranded on highway with drive shaft decoupled from the transfer case). Had the vehicle towed back to Fast Lane. They took 2 weeks to replace the transfer case (they said it was under warranty), but they refused to cover my towing expenses (less than $300). I called them multiple times and was told multiple times that their manager would call me back, but they never called me back. Grungy lobby, disorganized & cluttered shop space, poor customer service. I will not return to this shop and I cannot recommend.
