I was already working with Scott at Michigan Sandblasting and planned to have my Jeep's underbody sandblasted there. Rashid told me they could apply POR-15 afterward, so based on that I paid to have the Jeep towed down there. After it arrived, everything changed. Rashid started questioning the project and for over a week I was given the runaround. Multiple times Rashid told me he would "talk to Scott figure out a solution and call me back," but the call back never happened. Every time I followed up I got the same vague response and nothing actually moved forward. Rashid knew all of the details prior to me towing it down there. If this wasn't a job they wanted to take on, that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of telling me to bring the vehicle down and spend money towing it there. It's extremely frustrating to be told something can be done, only to have the shop avoid giving a straight answer after the vehicle is already there. Very disappointing and unprofessional way to handle a customer. I wasted time and money because they couldn't simply be upfront about whether they were willing to do the work.

Today February 25th after Royal Transmission not having even looked at the vehicle I had it picked up and towed to another repair facility for same day turnaround. I had Royal Transmission replace the clutch about 15k ago and while I did have to bring it back due to improper bleeding of the system which they corrected. The vehicle is prone to bleeding issues. The weeks worth of excuses rather than ANY action towards a 2 hr job was unacceptable and I will no longer do business with Royal Transmission.

We managed quotes from three different shoppes and George was the cheapest. That's no surprise. I am a bit disappointed that repairs took so long. We called and were told such, so we didn't waste a trip there to hear this. I was also informed that George had undergone neck surgery a month earlier. That information along with the pandemic explain the delays. When my nephew finally picked up the car (after three weeks of waiting) it ran like a top and the price was exactly what was quoted.
